Jurnal Manajemen Pendidikan Islam (MANAPI) with ISSN 2964-6863 is a forum for educators, academics, researchers and practitioners to share ideas regarding practical approaches in improving the quality of problems related to education management, education administration and Islamic education management. and published by the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar. Jurnal Manajemen Pendidikan Islam (MANAPI) is published twice a year; in May and November. The manuscript will be reviewed by at least two reviewers prior to publishing. It is a double-blind review process. The first edition of Manapi will publish in 2022.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the infaq-based independent education financing model and its implications for learning quality at MTs Al-Fatah, Bandung Regency. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and document studies. The research subjects consisted of school principals, treasurers, teachers, school committees, parents, and students. The results showed that MTs Al-Fatah has implemented an infaq-based financing model since 2022 with a flat rate of IDR 25,000 per month per student. Fund allocation consists of 40% for operational needs, 40% for uncovered honorarium from BOS funds, and 20% for infrastructure maintenance. This financing model has a positive impact on learning quality as evidenced by an increase in student-book ratio from 0 in 2020 to 1 per subject in 2024, improvement in teacher qualifications from 70% S1 in 2020 to 90% S1 in 2024, and student satisfaction reaching 95/100. The collectibility rate reaches 90% with high parent satisfaction. This study concludes that infaq-based financing models can be an alternative solution for madrasah financial independence while maintaining learning quality and community trust.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze in depth the marketing strategy for educational services at SDN Ciputat 01 in South Tangerang City through a marketing mix approach that covers seven main elements: product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including direct observation, in-depth interviews with various stakeholders, and documentary studies of school records and activities. The research findings indicate that although the school has not formally designed and implemented a formal and systematic marketing strategy, the elements of the marketing mix have been indirectly applied in the school's daily activities. Each element is carried out through activities focused on improving the quality of educational services, student and parent satisfaction, and the active involvement of all school components. This strategy has a positive impact on the school's image in the community, strengthens public trust, and serves as an important supporting factor in increasing the number of new applicants each year.

Abstract

The existence of educational facilities is absolutely necessary in the educational process, so it is included in the components that must be fulfilled in the implementation of the educational process. This research report presents an innovation in planning the management of facilities and infrastructure (sarpras) at this school which is certainly carried out with clear and orderly steps. First of all, everything starts with planning. With routine and directed supervision, the facilities and infrastructure at SMAN 1 Kandangan are maintained and support the creation of a comfortable and quality learning environment. It is hoped that an understanding of the facilities and infrastructure management process at SMAN 1 Kandangan includes three main stages: planning, direction, and supervision. Planning is carried out in a thorough and participatory manner, involving all elements of the school, and focusing on budget efficiency and transparency according to the RKAS.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how principal leadership and human resource management can influence teacher work productivity at SDIT Darul Athfal Jakarta. A thorough understanding of the factors of teacher work productivity is crucial for the implementation of principal leadership and human resource management. This study used a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires as a data collection method. The questionnaires were distributed to all 34 teachers at SDIT Darul Athfal Jakarta. The results showed that principal leadership influenced teacher work productivity by 8.9%. And human resource management on teacher work productivity by 49.6%. Meanwhile, principal leadership and human resource management on teacher work productivity by 63.9%

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of Merdeka Learning Curriculum management in improving the performance of educators at UPT SMP Negeri 6 Medan. The implementation of the Merdeka Learning Curriculum aims to enhance the quality of education through a more flexible, innovative, and student-centered learning process. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which the management of the Merdeka Learning Curriculum is effective in improving the performance of educators at UPT SMP Negeri 6 Medan. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research was conducted at UPT SMP Negeri 6 Medan. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation and method triangulation. The results of the study indicate that: (1) planning of the Merdeka Curriculum is conducted through meetings and teacher discussion forums, preparation of teaching schedules, non-cognitive assessments, teacher training, and the development of teaching modules and project modules; (2) curriculum implementation is carried out through intrakurricular learning, extracurricular activities, and the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project; (3) curriculum organization includes the regulation of learning loads, graduation criteria, and the academic calendar; (4) evaluation is conducted through input evaluation, process evaluation, learning evaluation, as well as school operational curriculum and program evaluation; and (5) curriculum audits are carried out through teacher reflection, cognitive assessments for teachers and students, supervision by the principal, and the utilization of the Merdeka Teaching Platform (PMM).

Abstract

The Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) is an educational program designed to prepare graduates of undergraduate education and non-education programs to fully master teacher competencies in accordance with national education standards. Teachers as professional educators are evidenced by the possession of an educator certificate obtained through the PPG program. Through PPG, teachers are expected to enhance their ability to master teaching materials, plan, develop, and implement effective and productive learning processes. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the PPG program in improving teacher professionalism at UPT SMP Negeri 6 Medan. This research employs a qualitative approach with a field research design. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, while data validity is ensured through triangulation. Data analysis is conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the PPG program is effective in improving teachers’ knowledge, skills, attitudes, and motivation, which positively impacts teacher professionalism at UPT SMP Negeri 6 Medan.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative study. Meanwhile, the approach taken by the researcher in this study is a case study approach. For data collection techniques, the researcher gathered data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings from the observations indicate that there has been no application of management functions at the Mathla’ul Anwar Batujaya Karawang Study Group, thus the researcher needs to address the issues present in that Study Group. Therefore, the study group, which is still managed traditionally, needs to improve its management for better effectiveness. The purpose of this research is to understand how to enhance the spiritual life of the community through the implementation of management functions at the Mathla’ul Anwar Study Group. The results of this study show that the role of the Mathla’ul Anwar Study Group in enhancing the spiritual life of the community is to instill an awareness of the importance of knowledge about religion. However, there are inhibiting factors that still need to be improved, namely the absence of a schedule and curriculum for the lessons that will be delivered by the preacher at each event. In addition, there is still a low level of awareness among the congregation in attending the study sessions. Therefore, the solution to overcome these obstacles is to implement management functions such as creating a plan regarding the schedule of study materials according to the applied learning curriculum.
