Abstract

Change management is crucial for college organizations to adapt and thrive in dynamic academic environments. With the rapid evolution of technology, globalization, and shifting student needs, colleges must implement structured approaches to managing change to ensure organizational resilience and effectiveness. Effective change management enables institutions to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and foster a culture of adaptability among faculty, staff, and students. One of the key reasons change management is essential in college organizations is its role in mitigating resistance. Transitioning to new systems, policies, or structures often leads to anxiety and resistance from stakeholders. A well-planned change management process can help address these concerns through clear communication, training, and active involvement. As John Kotter (2014), a renowned expert on leadership and change, noted, “Successful change relies on clear, credible, and convincing communication from leadership at every level of the organization.” Moreover, change management enhances decision-making processes and aligns organizational goals with the evolving needs of the academic community. By embedding a culture of continuous improvement, college organizations can remain competitive and innovative, ensuring long-term success in a rapidly changing landscape. Failure to manage change effectively can result in disengaged stakeholders, disrupted operations, and decreased overall performance, highlighting the critical need for structured change management strategies. Keywords: change management, college, organization, role, analyze

Abstract

The majority of Indonesian public figures speak both Indonesian and English, which contributes to the problem of code-switching.In order to better understand the phenomenon of code switching, this study looked at the various forms and justifications for its use by Merry Riana and Grace Tahir on their November 19, 2021, YouTube channel, "Bukan Uang, Ternyata Ini Masalah Orang Kaya -Grace Tahir (Zero To Hero Full Version)". The present study adopted a qualitative descriptive methodology, which was interpreted in accordance with a theory put forward by Appel and Muysken (1987) regarding the types of code-switching and in accordance with Hoffman's (1991: 115) regarding the reasons for code-switching.The study found all types of code-switching, as well as five reasons why code-switching occurs. First, three types of code-switching were found: tag switching (8%), intersentential switching (32%), and intrasentential switching (60%), with intrasentential switching being the most dominant. Second, five reasons why code-switching occurs were found: talking about a particular topic, being emphatic about something, the intention of clarifying the speech content for the interlocutor, quoting somebody else, and interjection. Being emphatic about something is the most dominant.

Abstract

In the era of globalization and rapid technological development, increasing team productivity has become one of the main challenges for organizations. This research focuses on developing successful delegation as a strategy to increase team productivity. Using qualitative research methods, this study aims to identify keys that can increase delegation effectiveness and, in turn, improve team productivity. Through in-depth interviews with managers and team members from various industries, data was collected to explore their experiences and perspectives regarding delegation practices. Data analysis was carried out using a thematic approach, which resulted in several main themes: the importance of clear communication, selecting appropriate tasks, developing trust within the team, and providing constructive feedback. The research results show that effective communication and a deep understanding of team members' strengths and weaknesses are crucial factors in a successful delegation process. Additionally, building trust among team members allows for better decision making and increases commitment to delegated tasks. This research concludes that a good delegation strategy not only improves operational efficiency but also encourages team members' professional growth. By implementing the identified keys, organizations can create a more collaborative and productive work environment. These findings are expected to contribute to managerial practices and team development in various industrial sectors.

Abstract

This research examines the effectiveness of ChatGPT in improving the writing skills of secretaries in campus organizations. Secretarial roles require high proficiency in written communication, which is essential for drafting reports, emails, and official documents. By integrating ChatGPT as an AI-driven writing assistant, this study seeks to evaluate its potential in enhancing both the quality and efficiency of written tasks. A questionnaire was employed as the primary data collection tool, targeting secretaries from various campus organizations. The results indicate a significant improvement in the accuracy and clarity of written communication, with secretaries reporting a reduction in time spent drafting documents and increased confidence in their writing. The study provides valuable insights into the utility of AI tools like ChatGPT in streamlining secretarial tasks and enhancing professional skills in organizational contexts.

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) technology has developed rapidly and become one of the significant innovations in the world of modern education. AR offers an interactive learning experience that combines digital elements, such as 3D objects and animations, into the real world, thereby increasing student engagement and motivation. This study aims to explore the potential use of AR as an alternative digital learning media in various subjects and levels of education. This study shows that AR can help students understand abstract concepts, visualize learning materials in a more concrete way, and support project-based learning. In addition, AR also allows flexible and accessible learning, especially through mobile devices that are widely used by students. However, the implementation of AR in education still faces challenges, such as limited technological infrastructure, lack of teacher competence, high development costs, and difficulties in measuring learning effectiveness. To overcome these challenges, support is needed from various parties, including the government, educational institutions, and technology developers. With effective collaboration, AR has the potential to become an innovative and effective learning media in preparing students to face challenges in the digital era.
