Abstract

Purpose: to determine the relationship between social interaction and the loneliness of the elderly in Ciamis Village. Methods: the method in this study is quantitative, with a cross sectional approach, data collection using a questionnaire distributed through a questionnaire. Sample: The sample in this study amounted to 96 respondents. This research was conducted in March–April 2022. Result: Based on the results of the study, of the 96 respondents, there were 22 (40%) in the category of good social interaction with loneliness and 32 (59.3%) in the category of good social interaction with loneliness. Not lonely: 9 respondents (30%) in the category of social interaction are sufficient with loneliness; 12 respondents (100%) in the category of social interaction are less with not loneliness. From the result of the Chi-Square Statistical Test, the value (0.023) <value (0.05). Conclusion: Good social interaction will reduce loneliness in the elderly.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the relationship between discomfort in pregnancy and the physical activity of third-trimester pregnant women. Methods: quantitative analytic survey with a cross-sectional research design. The population in this study was 23 third-trimester pregnant women in Banjaranyar Village. Sampling in this study used a total sample of 23 respondents. Results showed that the age of the majority of respondents was reproductive age (20-35 years), 56.5%, and most respondents had low education, namely 16 respondents, for a total of 69.6%. The frequency of parity of the majority of respondents is primipara, namely having given birth. There are as many as 10 respondents, for a total of 43.5%. Of the 23 respondents, the frequency of pregnant women feeling discomfort was 21 respondents (91.3%), pregnant women did light activities as many as 18 respondents (78.3%). Conclusions: There is a relationship between discomfort in pregnancy and the physical activity of pregnant women in Banjaranyar Village, Banjaranyar District.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to carry out comprehensive nursing care in bipolar with suicide risk using supportive therapy. Methods: descriptive case study method, by managing one client using the nursing process approach. Results: The results of the study after conducting supportive therapy on bipolar clients with suicide risk, for 5 times showed a decrease in suicide risk. Conclusion :The conclusion of this study is that supportive therapy collaborated with SP is very effective in reducing the risk of suicide

Abstract

Purpose: The most difficult tasks for final year students is thesis. this study aims to determine the relationships between coping mechanisms and stressed levels in Nursing STIKes Muhammadiyah Ciamis undergraduate students. Methods: The design in this study was cross sectional. Sampling was done by using total sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 83 people. Results: The results of statistical tests showed that there was a relationship between stressed levels and coping mechanisms in final year undergraduate students of Nursing STIKes Muhammadiyah Ciamis 2-8 July 2023 (p=0.022). This study provides an overview for undergraduate nursing students to b able to understand and improve emotional intelligence , so that they are able to motivated themselves and can withstand stress.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of health education through Tiktok video media on the knowledge of couples of childbearing age in choosing contraceptives. Methods: This study uses descriptive research with a case study approach method, with a total of 30 respondents who meet the predetermined inclusion criteria. Results: The results showed that there was an increase in the knowledge of couples of childbearing age in the selection of contraceptives, after health education was carried out, namely from a sufficient level of knowledge as many as 15 respondents (50%) to a good level of knowledge as many as 17 respondents (56%). Conclusions: From the results obtained, it can be concluded that there is an effect of health education through Tiktok video media on the knowledge of couples of childbearing age in the use of contraceptives.

Abstract

Purpose: To determine the level of knowledge of adolescent students at Fikri Junior High School about the 8000 first days of life programme. Methods: descriptive method with pre and post test design..Results: Before the health education of the 8000 HPK programme, 18 people (60%) had a poor knowledge level, 12 people (40%) had a moderate knowledge level. After health education, the value of knowledge level became good 30 people (100%). Conclusion: there is an increase in the level of knowledge of adolescents about the 8000 HPK programme using the outline map media. Education using an outcrop map is recommended as an educational learning media for teenagers.

Abstract

Purpose: this study aims to determine the effectiveness of ROM in minimizing the occurrence of delirium in stroke patients at Ciamis Hospital. Methods: this study used a cohort study approach with the type of prospective cohort which was carried out for approximately 3 months. Results: the number of stroke patients with delirium obtained by the researchers was 14 people, the results of the Wilcoxon test analysis showed that there was no significant difference in the level of delirium in respondents before and after giving ROM to stroke patients with delirium with a p value of 0.180 > 0.05. Conclusions: the respondent's delirium level before doing ROM on average is hypoactive delirium, the respondent's delirium level after doing ROM is on average hypoactive delirium. and after ROM is done.

Abstract

 Purpose: Identify the application of cabbage leaf compress to reduce the incidence of breast swelling in postpartum mothers. Methods: literature study of 5 scientific articles obtained through the Google Scholar database, published between 2020 and 2023. Results: All studies showed that cabbage leaf compress decreased the frequency of breast engorgement in post partum mothers. Cabbage leaf compress is a non-pharmacological solution that can be used by post partum mothers independently to reduce their breast swelling. Conclusions: Giving cabbage leaf compress is effective in reducing the incidence of breast swelling in postpartum mothers.

Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this study was to provide an overview of health education including medication adherence, planned activities, and spiritual prayer as a means to help people with auditory hallucinations. Methods: The research method used is a qualitative method, which is a method used to collect data through observation of people, interviews, or observation of behaviour, conducted in April-March 2024. Results: Based on the nursing care case study conducted, from the data analysis obtained data from client 1 and the factors causing hallucinations, the client has experienced losing her husband, while client 2 is the perpetrator who experiences hallucinations because the client has lost the house, namely blown away. Interventions carried out on client 1 and client 2 are Sp 1 to Sp 4 Auditory Hallucinations with additional therapy Application of taking medication and Scheduled activities: Prayer. Implementation is the application of Sp 1 to Sp 4 Hallucinations coupled with the application of compliance therapy taking medication and scheduled activities: Prayers in accordance with the interventions that have been applied. Evaluation is the implementation stage carried out on both clients. Conclusion: Both patients experienced the same problem, namely sensory perception disorders, auditory hallucinations and after being given medication compliance therapy and scheduled activities.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the effect of health education with illustrated quiz media on first aid knowledge in vocational high school students. Methods: This study uses a type of quantitative research using a Pre-experimental design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design approach. Pre-experimental design with One-Group Pretest-Posttest design approach.  Results: This study used a sample of 75 respondents in grade 11. Method of collecting burn first aid knowledge data was collected by picture quiz. Based on wilcoxon test, statistically significant increase in knowledge of P-value = 0.00 <0,05. The mean pre-test was 6.29 and post-test was 9.00. Conclusion: There is an effect of health education with illustrated quiz media on the knowledge of first aid for burns in vocational high school students.
