Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the creativity of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in financial management through the use of Comic Strip Creator media. The program was conducted in Betoambari District, Baubau City, targeting SME actors who need to improve their skills in recording and managing finances in a creative and engaging way. The method included interactive training, technical mentoring, and hands-on practice in creating comic strips that illustrate business financial situations. The results indicate that participants gained a better understanding of the importance of systematic financial recording and learned to communicate financial concepts visually. This creative approach successfully motivated SMEs actors to adopt more disciplined and communicative financial management practices in their businesses

Abstract

Wasilomata II Village is one of the administrative villages in Mawasangka Subdistrict, Central Buton Regency, which has abundant natural resources, especially in the cave water source sector. However, this potential has not been optimized by the Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) as a strategic village economic institution. This community service activity aims to assist the Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) of Wasilomata II Village in optimizing the use of digital marketing as a strategy to expand the market for bottled drinking water (AMDK). The method of implementation of this activity uses a participatory approach through several stages, namely: (1) observation and identification of BUMDes problems; (2) digital marketing training for BUMDes administrators; (3) technical assistance in creating official BUMDes accounts and managing promotional content; (4) strategy implementation; and (5) program monitoring and evaluation. All activities are carried out collaboratively with village partners, BUMDes administrators, community leaders, and the village community. The expected outcomes of these activities are an increase in BUMDes administrators' understanding of digital marketing, the creation of official BUMDes accounts on several online platforms, and an increase in the marketing reach of bottled water products. These activities are expected to encourage village economic independence through the sustainable use of digital technology. The purpose of this assistance is to increase the capacity of the management of the Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) of Wasilomata II Village in implementing digital marketing strategies as an effort to expand the market for bottled drinking water (AMDK) products.

Abstract

The internship programme implemented through the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy has proven to be able to bridge the gap between theory and practice in the world of work. This study aims to examine the role of interns in making a real contribution to improving employee performance efficiency at the internship programme implementation site. The research method used is the Service Learning method with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation. All data obtained were then analysed using the Miles & Huberman approach, which includes data reduction, information presentation, and conclusion drawing stages. The results of this study indicate that the presence of interns makes a real contribution to improving work efficiency, speeding up service to clients, and reducing the need for overtime because some of the workload can be transferred to the students.

Abstract

This community service activity is conducted with the aim of providing knowledge and understanding to the management of Healthcare Service Providers in Kendari, particularly employees involved in preparing financial statements and tax reports, regarding Corporate Income Tax. The strategic target of this activity is the management of Healthcare Service Providers in Kendari, especially employees responsible for preparing tax reports and those tasked with withholding or collecting Corporate Income Tax. The method used in this outreach activity is a persuasive-educative approach, which involves providing theoretical explanations accompanied by practical examples from similar business entities, followed by discussions and a Q&A session to assess understanding of the Withholding and Reporting of Corporate Income Tax. The results of this community service show that by using a persuasive-educative approach combined with practical simulations, the activity not only expanded participants' knowledge of tax regulations but also strengthened their ability to independently apply the Coretax Administration System-based electronic reporting system. Overall, the activity was successfully implemented and achieved its main objective, which was to enhance tax compliance and the financial governance of healthcare service institutions.

Abstract

PT. Garda Wira Karya merupakan perusahaan alih daya yang bergerak di bidang penyedia jasa keamanan dan kebersihan untuk berbagai instansi rekanan. Sebagai bagian dari industri jasa ketenagakerjaan yang terus berkembang, perusahaan dituntut untuk beradaptasi dengan teknologi guna meningkatkan efektivitas dan akurasi kerja. Salah satu aspek penting dalam operasionalnya adalah pelaporan aktivitas keamanan yang selama ini dilakukan secara manual sehingga sering mengakibatkan keterlambatan rekapitulasi data dan kesalahan input. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pelaporan melalui implementasi aplikasi daring berbasis Google Forms yang terhubung otomatis dengan Google Spreadsheets. Metode implementasi dilakukan melalui pemaparan materi dan praktik langsung penggunaan sistem digital tersebut. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa implementasi aplikasi ini mempercepat proses rekapitulasi, meminimalisir kesalahan, dan mendukung efisiensi administrasi laporan bulanan. Inovasi ini mendorong penerapan budaya kerja yang lebih baik dan real-time. Dampaknya diharapkan dapat mendorong transformasi digital dan memperkuat koordinasi antar departemen dalam operasional perusahaan.

Abstract

The rapid growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) has been accompanied by intense competition. Without proper financial planning and the application of digital marketing, MSMEs will find it difficult to grow and may be outperformed by competitors. Entrepreneurs, especially those at Angkringan Sor Talok, are prone to making mistakes in recording financial reports due to a lack of knowledge and skills needed to document them accurately and completely. Moreover, these MSMEs have not yet implemented digital marketing, which is essential in today’s era. Therefore, this community service program aims to provide a basic understanding of financial reporting, particularly in recording financial transactions, and to facilitate bookkeeping as well as the use of digital marketing through the Google Maps platform. The methods used include surveys, socialization, and training. This program benefits business owners, especially at Angkringan Sor Talok, by helping them improve financial recording, expand market reach, and increase sales in the digital era.

Abstract

During the accounting system transformation phase, PT Indo Sarana Prakarsa faced challenges in management control. To solve this problem, Community Service (PkM) activities focused on designing a management control system based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). This activity aims to improve internal communication, refine work procedures, and enhance the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the company's operations. The methods used in this activity are observation, interviews, and case studies. The results of implementing the management control system show that the new system helps the company improve workflow, enhance internal communication, and increase operational effectiveness. In addition, this system also plays a role in supporting regulatory compliance and providing an accurate basis for decision making. With effective implementation, this system is anticipated to have a substantial impact on the long-term growth, sustainability, and performance improvement of PT Indo Sarana Prakarsa.

Abstract

Port porters are at high risk of occupational accidents and musculoskeletal disorders due to the use of non-ergonomic lifting and carrying techniques. Complaints such as pain in the back, neck, shoulders, and other body parts are common problems among stevedoring workers. This activity aims to improve the capacity of port porters through ergonomic evaluation, education, and training so they can work safely and more productively. The approach used is community empowerment with the Community Based Participatory Research (CBPR) method, which includes five stages: problem identification, priority setting, program design, outcome evaluation, and follow-up. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in porter knowledge at Samarinda Port, although some participants still do not apply correct lifting techniques in the field. It is hoped that ongoing socialization activities can be carried out by trained porters to colleagues who have not received training, so that this program can be sustainable and have an impact on improving safety and work productivity.

Abstract

This article discusses a community economic empowerment program in Sampe Raya Village thru early savings education and digital marketing training for MSMEs. The program aims to improve financial literacy, handicraft skills, and digital capabilities of the village community. The approach used includes interactive education, hands-on practical training, and ongoing mentoring, involving various relevant stakeholders. Initial results show improved financial literacy understanding, creativity in crafting, and digital marketing skills among villagers. The implementation of this strategy is expected to strengthen the financial foundation of families and open up wider market access, thereby sustainably improving the welfare and economic independence of the community in the digital age

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the effectiveness of vehicle stock management at PT Era Trans Surabaya through the implementation of a digital system based on Google Spreadsheet. The method used is a participatory approach consisting of three stages: observation of the manual system, assistance in implementing the digital system, and evaluation of its effectiveness. The results show that the Spreadsheet-based system successfully increased recording efficiency, reduced input errors, and accelerated real-time data updates. In addition, administrative staff were able to operate the system independently after the assistance, and coordination among staff became more optimal. Overall, the implementation of this system contributes to improving administrative performance and supports digital transformation in the company’s vehicle inventory management.
