urnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Sabangka adalah jurnal yang diterbikan oleh PUSAT STUDI EKONOMI, PUBLIKASI ILMIAH DAN PENGEMBANGAN SDM AZRAMEDIA INDONESIA untuk mempublikasikan dan meyebarluaskan tulisan dan artikel Pengabdian Masyarakat yang telah dilakukan oleh akademisi, praktisi dan mahasiswa dengan tujuan agar dapat menginspirasi dan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat secara luas. <![CDATA[This study is entitled Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) for Hypertension Patients. Hypertension is a “silent killer” causing an iceberg phenomenon. The prevalence of hypertension increases with age. Hypertension is a non-communicable disease whose incidence rate is quite high. One of the therapies that can handle complaints due to hypertension is Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR). The purpose of the implementation of this service activity is to help relieve the muscle tension of people with hypertension. This activity was held at the tamalate health center in Makassar city involving 20 participants suffering from hypertension. The majority of respondents were female (85%), the average age was 56-65 years (60%), the majority had a high school education (85%), and the average respondent's occupation was housewife (50%). Participants participated in this activity with enthusiasm and were able to follow the relaxation movements demonstrated by the facilitator.]]>

<![CDATA[The use of online attendance at several schools in the North Sumatra region can help efficiency in reducing physical materials (paper) and can be directly monitored/evaluated online. Currently, the school at the Ar-Ridha Foundation, one of the attendance methods implemented online, still uses WhatsApp to monitor online attendance. Due to many obstacles, sending attendance via WhatsApp is considered less effective. One of the barriers reported was the requirement for teachers to review each student's data submission individually. Using Google Forms to create virtual courses is one way teachers can apply online learning. Google Forms is a Google product. Google Forms is a free online program available to schools, non-profit organizations, and anyone with a Google Account. Using Google Forms will facilitate interaction between teachers and students. <![CDATA[Starting with understanding the importance of technological skills in the modern workplace, this community service targets Santa Maria High School Yogyakarta students to gain better knowledge and skills in using Canva to make presentations and create the curriculum vitae. Focuses on transferring knowledge and technical skills and aims to improve students' critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Students are encouraged to develop their creativity and think outside the box when presenting information and completing specific tasks and preparing to enter the workforce or continue their studies at a higher education level. It directly benefits students' technological skills and has a significant long-term impact, with increased hard skills in Canva and honed problem-solving abilities. This community service contributes positively to strengthening the relationship between schools and the world of work by ensuring that high school graduates have skills relevant to current industry needs.]]>

<![CDATA[Community interest in reading in Wano Village is still relatively low, this is known through observations, namely the unavailability of reading source facilities so as to cause low community interest in reading in Wano Village and the unavailability of adequate facilities and infrastructure for libraries in education units in Wano Village so that it creates problems regarding the lack of literacy. Community service program activities are carried out regularly which are attended by the surrounding community, especially children. The purpose of this service is to increase knowledge, build togetherness and solidarity between residents. The research method used in this research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. Data collection techniques by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are causing a lot of positive responses from the community, an increase in reading interest, and the active involvement of KKN students of Muhammadiyah Kuningan University.]]>

<![CDATA[The aim of this activity is to stimulate interest in literacy among children, especially in Rajadanu Village, and the general public, with a focus on improving literacy skills. In implementing this reading garden program, we apply research-bSased methods with a PAR (Participatory Action Research) approach. When providing books, we also work with book donors. Apart from that, the village also provides space for the TBM. Based on observations, it indicates that children's reading awareness in Rajadanu Village is still lacking. Providing reading books is an important factor in stimulating interest in reading, and good facilities can promote people's interest in reading, especially local children. The conclusion of this service is an effort to stimulate or improve children's literacy understanding through reading gardens.]]>

<![CDATA[The waste problem is an increasingly pressing issue in various regions, including in villages. Citapen Village is one of the villages in Japara District, Kuningan Regency, West Java, which is still facing environmental health problems. Citapen Village is faced with an increasingly worrying waste problem. This is due to the lack of public understanding regarding the importance of waste management. To overcome this, the Real Work Lecture (KKN) Students of the Muhammadiyah University of Kuningan held a Zero Waste program. This program was implemented on July 30, 2024 at Citapen Elementary School. In its implementation, students used the Socialization method in the room by introducing the concept of the 5R movement consisting of Refuse (refuse), Reduce (reduce), Reuse (reuse), Recycle (recycle) and Rotting (rot). This activity was attended by all students and homeroom teachers of grade 4 of Citapen Elementary School. The results obtained through this activity were that students could understand and know how to implement a zero waste lifestyle.]]>

<![CDATA[Green business has become a significant issue due to the environmental crisis and increasing consumption that lacks sustainability awareness. Implementing green business for housewives in Sumur Dalam Village, most of whom are unemployed, is crucial to promote a green economy and enhance creativity in producing marketable products. This community service activity aims to increase understanding of green business models among housewives in Sumur Dalam Village, enabling them to build businesses that contribute to the environment and improve family income. The partners in this activity are 20-30 housewives aged 20-35 years who are unemployed, encouraging entrepreneurship. The implementation method consists of preparation, execution, and evaluation. The expected result of this activity is to enhance the creativity and understanding of housewives regarding green business.]]>

<![CDATA[This Community Service aims to increase the knowledge and skills of business actors in the application of simple accounting, facilitate MSME actors in preparing accurate and easy-to-understand financial reports, and provide solutions for MSMEs to more easily access financing through better financial records. The method used in this activity is to identify and select participants, carry out socialization, education and mentoring, conduct monitoring, evaluation and assessment. This seminar was attended by 20 MSME players. The results of this service show an increase in the knowledge and skills of MSME actors in Mandai District, Maros Regency in the application of simple accounting, especially regularity in financial records, making financial reports so that it makes it easier for MSME actors to obtain access to financing. This service helps MSMEs in monitoring financial conditions and increasing their competitiveness and business continuity.]]>

<![CDATA[Gorontalo City is an area wich with numerous relics from the colonial period. As a witness to the city’s long history, it possesses many cultural heritage assets, including heritage objects, cultural structures, and heritage buildings. This community service project aims to cultivate a sense of awareness, ownership, and an understanding of the significant value of this cultural heritage. To achieve this, educational effort focused on introducing the cultural heritage site in the Old Town area of Gorontalo are essential, particulary targeting the younger generation. The partners in this activity were the students and teachers of State Senior High School (SMA Negeri) 3 Gorontalo. The program was carried out in several stages: observation, material preparation, and the implementation of socialization sessions. Through this community service program, it is expected to foster awareness and concern among the youth of Gorontalo to safeguard and preserve their historical legacy and cultural identity.]]>
