Abstract

Karang Harum Village, Bekasi Regency, has an abundant potential of rice husk waste; however, its utilization is still limited to low-value burnt husk. Limited technology, low production skills, and the absence of a structured business unit prevent the community—particularly the youth organization—from optimizing the economic value of agricultural waste. This community service program aims to enhance the community’s capacity through briquette production training, the implementation of an automatic electric briquette molding machine, and business management assistance. The activities consist of socialization, technical training, managerial training, technology installation, and a four-month mentoring period. The results indicate a 61.3% improvement in participants’ knowledge, an increase in production capacity from 0 kg to approximately 100 kg per week, and the establishment of a youth-based independent business unit. The implemented technology successfully reduced production time by up to 60% and produced briquettes with more consistent quality standards. This program contributes to income generation, agricultural waste utilization, and the development of village-based renewable energy businesses.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in the national economy, yet they often face challenges due to limited resources and traditional marketing strategies. This study aims to describe the development efforts for MSMEs in Bukit Mas Village, specifically focusing on Warung Ibu Sumiati, through the utilization of digital technology and the strengthening of visual identity. The methods employed in this community service program include field observation, needs identification, branding design (logos and banners), location registration on Google Maps via the Google Business Profile feature, as well as training and mentoring for the business owner. The results of the activity indicate that the implementation of a professional visual identity is able to enhance the business image and brand awareness among the community. Furthermore, the use of Google Maps and WhatsApp proved effective in increasing business visibility and accessibility, making it easier for new customers to find the location and place orders. Overall, this program confirms that simple, low-cost, and applicable digitalization strategies can serve as a primary foundation for MSMEs to enhance their competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

Efforts to improve financial literacy and foster pride in the Rupiah were carried out through the integration of the “Love, Proud, Understand (CBP) Rupiah” campaign with practical transaction simulations for elementary school students (grades 4 to 6) in Kutambaru. As a symbol of national sovereignty, the Rupiah requires early understanding to prevent improper treatment and to enhance financial literacy. The methods used included interactive lectures and experiential learning to deliver materials such as the introduction to the Rupiah, its meaning and role, and its security features, followed by transaction simulations using a menu booklet to test practical skills. The results showed high student enthusiasm during the socialization activities, with students demonstrating confidence in identifying the security features of the Rupiah. In the transaction simulation practice, approximately 43% of students completed the tasks perfectly, while the remaining 57% made minor errors related to calculation and accuracy. This approach proved effective in developing both theoretical and practical understanding, although further reinforcement is needed to improve accuracy for optimal results

Abstract

Field Work Practice (PKL) is one form of community service activity that aims to implement students’ knowledge and skills directly in the business sector. This PKL activity was carried out at the MSME Slamet Ceramic located in Kasongan, Bantul, which is engaged in the production and sale of pottery crafts. The purpose of this community service activity is to optimize the financial recording of the business and to support the transformation toward non-cash payments through the implementation of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS), in order to improve financial governance and the competitiveness of MSMEs. The methods used in this program include initial observation to identify problems, mentoring and training in simple financial recording, as well as the socialization and implementation of a QRIS-based non-cash payment system. The results show that optimizing financial recording helps MSME owners better understand the financial condition of their business in a more systematic manner, separate personal and business finances, and facilitate financial decision-making. In addition, the implementation of QRIS has a positive impact in the form of increased transaction efficiency, a wider range of payment options for customers, and support for the digitalization process of MSMEs.

Abstract

The presence of weeds in the campus environment not only reduces aesthetics but also inhibits the growth of main plants through nutrient competition. This program aims to restore the beauty and aesthetics of the campus, as well as foster an environmentally conscious character in the younger generation through this collective action. The method used in this activity is Participatory Action Research (PAR), which involves active participation from students in planning, action, and observation. This technical implementation is carried out through a mutual cooperation mechanism that includes manual weed removal, sweeping, containerization into trash bags, weed waste processing, and weed transportation to the final disposal site. The results of the activity resulted in significant changes in the campus area environment looking neater, cleaner, and more beautiful. And it can be concluded that the participatory approach is effective in campus environmental management, and it is recommended that this action be carried out regularly to realize the vision of a green campus.

Abstract

Adolescence is a period of transition marked by rapid physical, psychological, and social changes, requiring adolescents to have a proper understanding of reproductive health. In Indonesia, reproductive health literacy among adolescents is still low, increasing the risk of unwanted pregnancies, sexually transmitted infections, and anxiety related to bodily changes. The pre-test results at Handayani 1 Pameungpeuk High School showed that most students were in the low knowledge category. Therefore, a seminar entitled “Body, Mind, Future: Reproductive Health as an Investment in Life” was held to increase students' understanding and awareness. This study used a one-group pretest-posttest design with 90 respondents. The analysis was conducted using frequency distribution and percentages. The results showed a significant increase in knowledge, marked by an increase in the “Very Good” category from 5 to 24 students and a decrease in the low category. This seminar proved to be effective and is recommended to be implemented continuously in schools.
