Abstract

The research is intended to find out (1) the concept of learning innovation, (2) the implementation of learning innovation management functions, (3) the implication of learning innovation management, and (4) obstacles and solutions of the implementation of learning innovation management at effective classes at Integrated Islamic Secondary School (SMPIT) Cordova Samarinda. This research used a qualitative approach with case study and the data was collected through deep interview, observation and documentation. The informans of the research are the head and his vice of the foundation, coordinator of the effective classes, teachers and students. The data was analysed by using descriptive technique. For the research findings, it was  found that (1) the concept of learning innovation for effective classes is built through middle input with an effective learning process and produces an effective output; (2) the implementation of learning innovation management functions of effective classes was carried out through planning design by determining input sellection standard, an effective process standard, an effective output standard, learning innovation organization through enriched curriculum, time allocation, teachers’ roles and duties, learning  sources,  learning innovation  through moving class, a standardized teachers, IT-based management, full day school program, and  three evaluations of learning innovation, namely test and non-test with mastery learning standard, and high competition class assessment; (3) the implication of learning innovation management covers integrated learning management system, better teacher qualification standard, and increase school reputation; and (4) obstacles and solution disrupt the implementation of learning innovation management of effective classes at SMPIT Cordova Samarinda.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menguraikan 1) kebijakan kepemimpinan dalam meningkatkan efektivitas kinerja guru di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Sekolah Dasar); 2) kendala kebijakan kepemimpinan yang menghalangi efektivitas kinerja guru di dalamnya; dan 3) solusi berdasarkan teori kepemimpinan yang dapat meningkatkan efektivitas kinerja guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus dilakukan di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah dengan 3 informan yang terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru PNS dan Non-PNS. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) kebijakan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam menyelesaikan masalah sekolah dengan merekrut guru tambahan, berbagi jam mengajar dengan guru yang baru direkrut dan memberikan tugas administratif kepada pekerja administrasi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas kinerja guru. Kebijakan kepala sekolah memengaruhi kinerja beberapa guru; 2) kendala manajemen sekolah yang dihadapi oleh kepala sekolah dalam pengambilan keputusan disebabkan oleh beberapa guru dan pekerja administrasi yang tidak disiplin, tidak mampu, dan tidak terampil; dan 3) solusi yang dibuat oleh kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan efektivitas kinerja guru termasuk partisipasi guru dalam setiap kegiatan sekolah yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru. Untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru, guru yang lebih aktif dan kreatif diberikan hadiah tambahan finansial sementara guru yang tidak mampu dan tidak terampil dikirim untuk mengikuti pelatihan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan peningkatan kompetensi

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of: 1) Family Conflicts on Student Results IPS class V. 2) Learning Motivation on the results of Student IPS Study of class V. 3) Family Conflicts and Motivation Learning together to Class IPS Student Learning Outcomes V. This research was conducted in State Islamic Primary School I Samarinda. The method used correlation with quantitative approach that is multiple influence or multiple linear regression that is to know the influence of both independent variables, either partially or simultaneously, to the dependent variable. Sampling was conducted randomly from 112 respondents. Data were analyzed by using simple linear regression statistic analysis and multiple linear analysis. The results showed that: 1) there was a positive and significant impact of Family Conflicts on the Learning Results of Social Studies students of class V with a correlation coefficient of 0.787 or contributing influence of 78.7% and partial test of 0.887. 2) There is a positive and significant effect of Learning Motivation to IPS Grade Students Learning Results with the level of correlation coefficient of 0.490 or contributing influence of 49% and partial test results of 0.700. 3) There is a positive and significant influence of Family Conflicts and Motivation Learning together to IPS Learning Outcomes with R = 0.802 or influence of 80.2%. Based on the above results it can be concluded the whole results of this analysis support the proposed hypothesis. The variable that has the greatest influence from the data calculation is the Family Conflict variable.

Abstract

This research was conducted to develop E-Learning Instructional Media using Moodle on Model Pembelajaran subject for Education Technology students of Master’s Degree in Mulawarman University. The purpose of this research are to develop the E-learning procedure development using Moodle on Model Pembelajaran subject for Education Technology students of Master’s Degree in Mulawarman University. This type of research is the Research and Development using ADDIE development model. This research is experimented tothe 2017 generation Education Technology Master’s Studentin University of Mulawarman. The data are validated by media experts, content experts, individual testing, small group testing and field tests using a questionnaire,thenthe data were analyzed with qualitative, quantitative and another statistical analysis methods. The research finding shown an instructional product using E-learning.

Abstract

Lectures become the center of learning who dominate the activities in traditional classrooms. Most of the learning time in the classroom is spent on lecturing than students' activities which causes a lack of motivation in learning. The study aims to: 1) increase activities of both the lecture and students by implementing Flipped Classroom; 2) to increase students' motivation by implementing Flipped Classroom; 3) to increase students' learning achievement by implementing Flipped Classroom. The study used a classroom action research methodology which consisted of 3 cycles. There were four stages in the research: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data of the study consisted of 1) activities data of both lecture and students through observation and documentation; 2) students' motivation data through online questionnaires on Google Form and observation; 3) learning achievement through an online quiz on Edmodo. At the end of Cycle III, it was found out that there was an increase in activities of both lecture and students, student motivation, and learning achievement by implementing Flipped Classroom.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kebijakan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam membuat 1) perencanaan pengembangan sarana prasarana, 2) pelaksanaan pengembangan sarana prasarana, 3) evaluasi pengembangan sarana prasarana, 4) hambatan dan solusi dalam pengembangan sarana prasarana. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) perencanaan pengembangan sarana prasarana dilakukan dengan menganalisis dan mengidentifikasi kebutuhan sarana prasarana, seleksi program kegiatan sarana prasarana, membuat draft anggaran sesuai dengan RKAS dan musyawarah dalam rapat bersama warga sekolah, (2) pelaksanaan pengembangan sarana prasarana yang dilakukan adalah dengan membentuk tim kegiatan, membuat kontrak kerja dengan pihak terkait, pengawasan dan pemeliharaan sarana prasarana sekolah, (3) evaluasi pengembangan sarana prasarana dilakukan dengan cara mengecek keterlaksanaan antara perencanaan dan pelaksanaan kegiatan sudah memenuhi standar minimal atau belum dan 4) hambatan dan solusi yang dialami kepala sekolah adalah melakukan menyesuaikan terlebih dahulu dengan jumlah dana yang ada, kemudian menentukan kebutuhan apa saja yang diperlukan bagi pengembangan sarana prasarana yang akan datang. Sampai saat ini, sekolah masih terus melakukan pengembangan sarana prasarana secara kontinyu karena tidak semua perencanaan dapat terealisasi dan hal tersebut dikarenakan sumber dana yang terbatas.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of principal leadership in planning the development of the quality of teacher resources at SMP Negeri 2 Sebulu Kutai Kartanegara. Related to the role of principal leadership in planning, implementing, evaluating planned programs in developing the quality of teacher resources. This research uses a qualitative approach with this type of research, namely a case study. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles & Huberman model, which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed: (1) planning for the development of the quality of teacher resources was carried out by deliberation in internal meetings; (2) the form of developing the quality of teacher resources, namely the implementation of workshops, training, seminars and advanced education levels; (3) evaluating by conducting academic supervision; (4) the role of the principal as: (a) educator; (b) managers; (c) administrator; (d) supervisors; (e) leader (f) innovator; and (g) motivators. Based on the results of interviews with three informants about the principal's leadership in planning the development of the quality of teacher resources, the principal as a leader has tried to carry out according to procedures in determining planning, namely by involving stakeholders in internal school meetings. In the implementation process, it is carried out in accordance with the procedure, all the steps taken by the principal and the teacher are to begin with the formation of a school development team, each school development team is given a mandate according to its capacity.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to provide education quality assurance assistance following an enhanced digital-based quality assurance cycle to ensure its implementation and supported by the dissemination of relevant research results so that it can run continuously and sustainably to build a school supervision system. This dissemination and community service activity begins with mapping quality based on National Education Standards, making School Work Plans, fulfilling good quality in processing standards in the learning process, monitoring and evaluating implementation, setting new standards, evaluating implementation results, and making a quality assurance system. digital school. This activity produces outputs in the form of a quality-based education management system that includes quality standards, standard operating procedures, curriculum, student data, teachers, student achievements, and teacher achievements.

Abstract

This assistance aims to help solve various problems that exist in schools, in relation to the efforts of vocational high schools to become centers of excellence so that they can produce graduates who are competent in their fields. In general, this assistance is useful for providing knowledge, technique, and art in formulating school strategic planning, so as to develop excellent school programs; and provide skills to school principals in mastering: (1) techniques for analyzing needs optimally in developing excellent school programs; (2) The technique of formulating a clear vision, mission, goals, and objectives in developing the school's flagship program; (3) The technique of formulating a superior program structure to become a center of excellence in accordance with local wisdom; (4) The technique of conducting a SWOT analysis of the capabilities possessed in developing the school's flagship program; (5) Techniques for developing superior programs based on strategic planning. Based on this, it can be concluded that this activity can contribute to (1) Participants having insight into the field of strategic issues in the field of education as a process of preparing and developing school programs in order to improve the quality of education so that it can become a central vocational high school of excellence; (2) Participants are able to formulate and develop school programs based on strategic planning oriented to life skills, and (3) Participants are able to develop their potential as a transformative leader in order to coordinate in achieving school programs in a synergistic and integrated manner.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan peran komite sekolah dalam sarana prasarana dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan di SD, dan 2) mendeskripsikan peran komite sekolah dalam pembiayaan untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Instrumen penelitian adalah peneliti sendiri dibantu dengan pedoman wawancara, sedangkan pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam, pengamatan dan catatan lapangan, kemudian dianalisis menurut teknik yang dikembangkan oleh Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Komite Sekolah bertindak sebagai pemberi pertimbangan (advisory agency) dan mitra kerja Kepala Sekolah Dasar Negeri dalam setiap perencanaan dan program yang telah disusun oleh sekolah, khususnya dalam pengembangan sarana dan prasarana, contoh pengadaan ruang sholat (mushalla), pengadaan perlengkapan sholat (mukenah, sarung, tikar sholat dan sajadah), selain itu juga komite sekolah memiliki peran mengidentifikasi sumber daya pendidikan yang ada di sekolah serta memberikan masukan dan pertimbangan dalam menetapkan RAPBS termasuk dalam penyelenggaraan rapat-rapat RAPBS. (2) Komite Sekolah di SDN Kongbeng juga menjadi badan pendukung (supporting agency) dalam pembiayaan upaya peningkatan mutu sekolah melalui dukungan pikiran, tenaga, dan finansial, terutama menunjang masalah pembiayaan pengembangan fisik, dengan melakukan serangkaian kegiatan dari perencanaan, penggalangan dana kepada orang tua siswa yang berlandaskan keikhlasan, pelaksanaan sampai pelaporan, juga bersaing dengan sekolah lain. Komite sekolah di SDN juga melakukan kontrol pengambilan keputusan atau perencanaan pendidikan dalam peningkatan mutu sekolah termasuk dalam hal SDM. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut peneliti mengharapkan bahwa peran komite sekolah harus lebih dioptimalkan lagi, termasuk untuk mengawasi penggunaan keuangan atau transparasi penggunaan alokasi dana pendidikan agar lebih dapat dipertanggung jawabkan.
