Side barriers are the impact on traffic performance from roadside activities, such as pedestrians, parkedvehicles/vehicles stopping, vehicles entering/exiting, and slow vehicles. This traffic problem occurs on SethAdjie Street, Palangka Raya City, this is caused by the high economic and social activity on that road. Thisstudy aims to determine the effect of side barriers on road capacity and traffic speed due to road performance,as well as evaluate the level of service using the Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (2014). This researchwas carried out for 7 days in July 2022. Research data was obtained through surveys and direct measurementsin the field. The results obtained in segment 1 Side Barriers were 510.5 events per hour/200 m, Capacity (C)was 1922.37 cur/hour, Traffic Speed (VT) was 14.84 km/hour. Segment 2 Side Barriers of 389 events perhour/200 m, Capacity (C) of 2537.24 cur/hour, Traffic Speed (VT) of 20.39 km/hour. Segment 3 Side Barriersof 507 events per hour/200 m, Capacity (C) of 2298.41 cur/hour, Traffic Speed (VT) of 16.35 km/hour. Insegments 1 and 3 Service Level C and segment 2 Service Level B. With recommendations for the addition oftraffic signs and parking prohibition signs.

The intersection becomes a meeting point between two or more road sections so it becomes a point of conflict.Signalized intersections are one of the controls, but the problem is often found in long queues so that vehiclesare delayed longer as a result, the intersection performance is not optimal. This study aims to analyze theperformance of the Jl. Tjilik Riwut – Jl. Hiu Putih and recommend alternative optimal solutions. Researchlocation at the intersection of Jl. Tjilik Riwut – Jl. Hiu Putih. The research was carried out for 7 days from 11July 2022 – 17 July 2022. The research method was direct surveys in the field to obtain primary data in theform of intersection geometric data, environmental conditions around the intersection, traffic flows, phases,and signal times. Secondary data in the form of population data for the city of Palangka Raya was obtainedfrom the Central Bureau of Statistics. Analysis according to Indonesia Road Capacity Guidelines (2014). Dataanalysis techniques using Microsoft Excel. The results showed that the performance of the intersection was notgood based on the Service Level (ITP E) in the existing conditions with a delay of 54.1 seconds/cur. The optimalalternative solution is alternative VI of the LrsJT Application in the Western Two-Phase Approach andproduces the smallest delay.

The Digital Elevation Model (DEM) contains elevation and slope information, making interpretation easierso that it is a fundamental element of geospatial data and can be used as a mapping source. The use oftechnology in the field of photogrammetric mapping is demonstrated by the use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV) or drones in mapping and Geodetic GPS tied to benchmarks to obtain Ground Control Point (GCP)coordinates as ground control points. This research aims to make the Palangka Raya University DEM usingUAV and Geodetic GPS. In processing aerial photo data, the photogrammetric method is used. The time fortaking aerial photo data begins on 14-21 October 2022 which is divided into 10 flying missions with a flightaltitude of 100 m, overlap and sidelap of 75%, and camera angle of 90 with a total of 7,935 photos. GCP dataretrieval using the Real Time Kinematic (RTK) method with Geodetic GPS was carried out on October 14,2022 with a total of 33 coordinate points. The DEM that has been formed can be seen that mapping usingUAVs/drones and Geodetic GPS produces high-resolution photo data that can be used for making DigitalElevation Models (DEMs) with the highest altitude at Palangka Raya University, namely 90 meters and thelowest altitude at 50 meters. The DEM resolution obtained is 18.1 cm/pixel and the interpolation point densityis 30.7 points/m2.

Roads have an important role in the realization of balanced inter-regional development for equitabledevelopment. Spatial mapping of the area and road network at the University of Palangka Raya which iscurrently undergoing infrastructure development and development aims to find out the area and coordinatesof the boundaries of the University of Palangka Raya. This study also aims to calculate the total length ofexisting roads in the University of Palangka Raya area. This mapping uses the photogrammetric method. Thetool used is the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) or the DJI Mavic 2 Pro Drone with Benchmark control pointsand Ground Control Point (GCP). Aerial photography was carried out on 14-21 October 2022 at the Universityof Palangka Raya which was divided into 10 flyways and the number of photos was 7,395. The flying altitudeof the drone is 100 m with 75% overlap/sidelap and 90 camera angle. Retrieval of Benchmark coordinates andGround Control Point (GCP) data using the Geodetic GPS tool on October 14, 2022 with a total of 2Benchmarks and 33 GCP points. Then proceed with the digitization process based on street names and areasper faculty at University of Palangka Raya. From the results of this study it was found that the University ofPalangka Raya has 11 roads that connect faculties and buildings to one another. The total length of existingroads is 17,391,662. The longest road is Hendrik Timang street with a length of 6,557.632 m and the shortestroad is Damang Salilah street with a length of 310.117 m.

Canal blocking is a water-retaining structure built with the aim of reducing flow velocity and retaining air inthe canal and the surrounding area. The canal blocking to be constructed must meet stability requirementswhich are one of the important requirements to guarantee the life and main function of the canal blockingbuilding. However, so far data and information regarding effective canal blocking (having a stable structureand long service life) is still very limited. This study aims to determine the effect of airflow velocity on scourin the physical model of canal blocking. The research method used is the observation method. The researchlocation was carried out in Palangka Raya City with a research time of one month from March 25 2022 toApril 23 2022. Data analysis was carried out using graphs to determine the effect of flow velocity on scourvalues. The results showed the flow velocity used v1= 0.019 m/s and v2= 0.028 m/s greatly affected the scourvalue that occurred. The greater the velocity of the water flow used with the upstream water level of 23 cm(fixed) and the downstream water level of 6.6 cm and 23 cm along with the longer testing time, the greater thevalue of the scour depth.

Peat soil has a wet and soft texture. Degraded peatlands due to reduced water content will cause drought andhave the potential for fires. One way to overcome the drought is by wetting the peat, namely by building canalblocks. This study aims to determine the effect of different hydrostatic pressure height on seepage discharge.The methods used are documentation, observation, and quantitative data analysis. This research is located inthe city of Palangka Raya carried out from April 10 – May 7 2022. The data analysis technique used is theanalysis of the coefficient of determination on the graph of the effect of the hydrostatic pressure difference onseepage discharge. The initial stage of this research was to collect the data needed to design a concreteconstructed canal blocking prototype. The building is scaled from prototype to distortion model where the scale used is 1:10 on the vertical and 1:25 on the horizontal. In testing the physical model of canal blocking, the test time for observing seepage that occurs in the flume is carried out within 240 minutes where observations are made 30 minutes for each seepage. In the final stage, a model test was carried out with variations in the water level at the upstream being 30 cm and at the downstream the water was empty, without any flow velocity. Based on the results of the model test, it shows that the smaller the hydrostatic pressure difference (ΔTTH) the smaller the seepage discharge value. The results of the largest and smallest seepage discharges in this study were 45 cm3/s at 100% ΔTTH and 11,9 cm3/s at 46% ΔTTH.

Forest and land fires are one of the most concerning incidents. One effort to overcome this problem is to reblocktheexistingcanalsusingablock/damsystem.Itishopedthatthewaterlevelinthecanalsonpeatlands canbeincreasedsoastoreducetheriskoffiresduringthedryseason.However,theinformationavailable regarding canal blocking is still very limited. This study aims to determine the stability of canal blockingstructures against shear, stability of overthrowning force and seepage by conducting physical model tests.This research method uses the observation method. The research location was carried out in the city ofPalangka Raya, starting from March 19 2022 to May 24 2022. This research was carried out by directlyobserving the changes that occurred in the physical model of canal blocking. The results showed that thestability against sliding and stability of overthrowning force was stated to be safe. Seepage continues tooccur in the downstream part of the canal blocking, whose value increases with the increase in the waterlevel in the upstream section as time increases.

The development of the world of construction in Indonesia has been very rapid, as evidenced by the methodsused in the design process of construction projects. There are several methods in the building design processsuch as the conventional method and the Building Information Modeling method. Using conventional methodsis considered less effective in terms of cost, quality and time, while using the Building Information Modelingmethod is considered effective and efficient because the design process can be carried out at the same time andis mutually integrated between one discipline and another. Multi-storey shophouses on peat land on JalanAdonis Samad, City of Palangka Raya, were redesigned using the Building Information Modeling method. Thepurpose of this study was to model the structure of multi-storey shop houses on peatlands using the BuildingInformation Modeling method. The building information modeling-based design method, in this case, uses theTekla Structure software to model the structure. The data from this study is secondary data in the form ofShopdrawing and Indonesian Loading Regulations SNI 2847:2019. The design results using the BuildingInformation Modeling method produce construction design modeling with additional information and detailedexplanations in the form of 3D models.

A construction project is a series of activities carried out with limited time and resources to achieve certaingoals. Resources are one of the factors that determine the success of a construction project, without a numberof resources that assist in the implementation process, construction projects will not be completed. Humanresources are one of the factors that determine the success of a construction project, where human resourceshave an important influence in terms of material factors, machines, money, and methods. One of the resourcesdirectly involved in carrying out construction work is a skilled workforce in the field (craft labor) consistingof builders with various types of specific expertise. In addition to the human resource aspect, the motivationalaspect is also very important. Motivation is everything that encourages or motivates someone to do somethingwith a specific purpose. The concept of motivation applied in the work environment is expected to provide animpetus to increase the enthusiasm of the workforce in the construction industry, in order to achieve the successof a project in terms of discipline and time. This article aims to determine the work motivation factors ofconstruction workers in Palangka Raya City. The method used is a literature study on the motivational factorsof workers in construction projects, by comparing several related journals. The results show that there are 28sub-factors of work motivation in construction workers based on the 5 factors of Abraham Maslow's theory ofneeds.

Tender is a series of bidding activity processes that aim to select, obtain, determine, and designate the mostappropriate company to work on a work package. One of them is construction tenders, in which theconstruction industry has a very important role in the economic and social development of a nation. The tenderprocess can be attended by more than one participant, where these companies compete with each other to beable to win a work package. With too many companies, service providers need to have competitive offers inorder to get a positive result in order to win in project tenders. Only the best participant will be the winner inthis competition, so that other participants will be declared failed in the bidding process. This article aims tofind out what factors cause service provider failure in the evaluation process for construction tender bids sothat it becomes a means for self-introspection and finding the best solution that can somewhat minimize thefailure factor. This article uses a literature study method regarding the factors that cause service providerfailure in the process of evaluating construction tender bids by comparing several related journals and basedon current regulations. From the results of the literature study, it was found that there were 45 factors causingthe failure of service providers in the process of evaluating construction bids, which came from 3 previousresearch sources and 2 current regulations.
