Abstract

Education is an important aspect for the development of human resources, because education is one of the methods used to improve human quality. This research aims to determine the role of educators in providing stimulation to increase children's social emotional intelligence and determine the forms of stimulus provided by educators in increasing children's social emotional intelligence at RA Darul Fatihin NW Gerintuk. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of research regarding the role of educators in improving social emotional intelligence in early childhood at RA Darul Fatihin NW Gerintuk are that teachers are able to act as parents for students when children are in a school environment with full supervision, reprimand with affectionate reprimands, prioritize instilling religious values, get used to behaving well with polite words in interactions that rely on essential needs so that children can understand them, and teachers are able to develop learning strategies that can increase social emotional intelligence with a form of stimulation, namely development. cognitive, motor development, effective at school.

Abstract

The phenomenon of linking in English pronunciation is one of the phonetic aspects that plays an important role in the fluency and naturalness of speech. One common form of linking found in natural conversation is vowel-to-vowel linking, which refers to the connection between a vowel sound at the end of a word and a vowel sound at the beginning of the following word. This study aims to analyze the phonetic characteristics of vowel-to-vowel linking, its patterns of occurrence, and its influence on speaking fluency. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach by analyzing recorded speech data from English speakers. The data are examined using both segmental and suprasegmental phonetic approaches to identify the types of linking that occur. The results indicate that vowel-to-vowel linking is most frequently realized through the use of the semivowel sounds /j/ and /w/ as bridging elements between vowels. These findings suggest that mastery of linking can enhance speaking fluency and listener comprehension. This study is expected to contribute to the teaching of English pronunciation, particularly in improving learners’ connected speech skills

Abstract

Human resources (HR), especially teachers, are a key factor in the success of educational institutions. However, based on initial observations at Madrasah Aliyah NWDI Wakan, various problems were found, such as a shortage of teaching staff, a mismatch between teacher competencies and their teaching fields, low discipline, and minimal use of learning media. Therefore, this study aims to describe how HR management is carried out to improve teacher competency through the recruitment, selection, and training and development processes. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that HR management at the madrasah has been carried out using a phased approach through internal selection, intensive coaching, and ongoing training, although various obstacles remain, such as budget limitations and a lack of formal training.

Abstract

The advancement of the digital era has encouraged small businesses to be more adaptive in managing their business information. One fundamental issue frequently encountered is the inability to process transaction data stored in database systems into useful information for business decisions. This research employed a literature review method, analyzing several scientific articles published between 2022 and 2025 from various indexed national journals. The analysis revealed that BI implementation significantly contributes to supporting small business decision-making, including its ability to identify sales trends, provide automated reports, and support strategic planning based on transaction data. Despite the benefits offered, small businesses still face a number of obstacles in adopting this technology, such as limited human resource competency and technological infrastructure constraints.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of database normalization as a solution to reduce data redundancy in sales information systems. Good data design is the foundation of an efficient and reliable sales information system. Data redundancy is a fundamental problem often encountered in sales information systems that have not implemented database normalization optimally, resulting in data duplication, transaction anomalies, information incoherence, and wasted storage capacity. Data were obtained through literature studies and document analysis from various sources relevant to the theme of data normalization and data redundancy. The results of the analysis show that the gradual application of normalization from Unnormalized Form (UNF) to Third Normal Form (3NF) and Boyce-Codd Normal Form (BCNF) has been proven to consistently reduce data redundancy, eliminate anomalies, and increase the efficiency of sales information systems. These findings provide a practical contribution in the form of a guide to implementing normalization for sales information system developers.

Abstract

The rapid growth of e-commerce has generated a large amount of transaction data with a high level of complexity. This data holds significant potential for further processing to uncover consumer purchasing behavior patterns. This study aimed to identify and analyze consumer purchasing patterns on e-commerce platforms through data analytics using the Market Basket Analysis approach. The data used in this study is simulated data compiled based on consumer purchasing trends over the past five years, with a focus on the fashion and beauty product categories. The analysis process was carried out by calculating support, confidence, and lift values ​​to determine the relationship between products in a transaction. The research findings indicate a fairly strong relationship between several products, which can be used as a basis for developing marketing strategies, such as implementing product bundling and developing recommendation systems. Thus, this study contributes to optimizing the use of transaction data as a basis for data-driven decision-making.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital information systems has led to a significant increase in data volume. This condition demands a database system capable of managing data efficiently without reducing performance. One important aspect in database management is scalability, namely the system's ability to optimally handle data growth and workload. This study aims to evaluate database scalability in managing data volume growth in digital information systems. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of literature studies from various relevant literature sources. The analysis was conducted by examining the concept of database scalability, the factors that influence it, and the impact of data growth on system performance. The results of the study indicate that data volume growth that is not balanced with good database management can cause a decrease in system performance, such as slow data access and increased server load. Therefore, strategies are needed to improve database scalability, such as query optimization, the use of indexing, caching, and the implementation of vertical and horizontal scalability.
