Abstract

This research helps leaders to grow and integrate their efforts from one business to severalrelated businesses, using a longitudinal approach to know for sure the development of anobject, a survey to collect data from a research sample. This research uses longitudinal designin which qualitative and quantitative techniques are used, using the random purpose samplingtechnique, the data collection process using the study cohort. The result of the researchstated that with strong experience and commitment the UMKM perpetrator is able to developindependent business so as to become the business owner and become the leader in that effort,along with the process of experiencing business constraints but can be solved and generatenew businesses that still exist kaitanya with the main business so that the business is combinedand mutually supportive. This study also corroborates research by Rajani and Sarada (2008)which shows a strong influence between leadership on the performance of UMKMKeywords: experience, commitment, leadership umkm

Abstract

Many studies have proved that market orientation has an influence on marketing performance,but it is considered a market orientation is not sufficient to improve marketing performance.Market orientation will be able to improve marketing performance when combined with organizationallearning, but the role of organizational learning in the convert market orientationinto marketing performance is unclear. By integrating variables of organizational learning asa single entity-market orientation-organizational learning- innovation, competitive advantagemarketing performance in a study as one is expected to clarify the role of learning in the convertmarket orientation into marketing performance has been deemed not clear.Keyword: Organizational Learning, Market Orientation, Competitive Advantage and Marketing Performance

Abstract

This research is brainstormed by the franchise business which develops rapidly. There are somany franchise trade marks which are developed in Indonesia especially in Semarang suchas Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC). McDonald, Pizza Hut, Hoka-Hoka Bento, etc. As a fast foodrestaurant, KFC has so many competitors which always compete to satisfy the costumers. Inorder to attract the customers, KFC has to improve the quality of taste, services and productinnovations. It is done in order to keep the reputations of its trade mark and improve therepurchase intention. Based on the phenomenon above, the research focuses to analyze howto improve the repurchase intention of KFC product in Semarang based on religiosity, reputationof trade mark and the customers attitude. The object of the research are the customers of KFCin Semarang city which involves 100 responders. The sampling technique used in this researchis purposive sampling. It is a sampling technique based on current criteria. The data collectinguses questioners which opened questions and closed questions. The data analysis uses doubleregresi linier and sobel test with SPSS. The result of the analysis shows that the religiosity andreputation of trade mark has a positive and significant impact on repurchase intention.Keywords : Religiosity, Reputation Of Trade Mark, Customer Attitude and Repurchase Intention

Abstract

This research examines a cognitive-affective-conative baseline model which proposed by Chiouet al. (2002). According to the model, perceived service quality (both tangible company-relatedand employee-related factors) is modeled antecedent to satisfaction and trust, which in turn areantecedents to customer loyalty responses (word of mouth and traditional loyalty). The sampleof this research was 233 students. Respondents were collected by using purposive samplingtechnique. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to analyze the data. The results showthat all research hypoteses were supported. This paper also provides the implications for theoreticaland managerial and offers directions for future research.Key words: service quality, loyalty, word-of-mouth

Abstract

Career development is the process of implementation (implementation) career planning. Employee career development can be done through two pathways, namely through education and training (Training) and through non-training (Weighman, 2002). Career development of an employee to occupy a position position is influenced by factors that include the attitude of employers and co-workers, experience, education, achievement, and factors fate. Research Labbase (2010) mentions factors that consists of education and training (training), work performance, work experience and expertise of employees simultaneously significant effect on career development. The problem that often arises is how to optimize career development in Central Java Training Agency. The results of research that education has positive influence on employee performance, the Training Agency of Central Java Province can develop and improve employee to follow training, Technical Guidance, Courses and Workshops, which is expected by the employees participated in some of these education can improve employee performance; Education positive influence on career development, career development of an employee. Discipline is not able to moderate education on job performance, Career development in Central Java Training Agency can be optimized through increased education, competence and job performance of employees. To enhance the career development of the Province of Central Java Training Agency may consider the education and competence of employees, because the view of the results of the study are positive influence between education and competency to career development.Key words : Antenseden Career Development in Central Java Training Agency

Abstract

This study aims to analyze companies value on manufacture companies which is listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2008 until 2010. There are many factors which influenced companies value like investment decisions, funding decisions, dividend policy, structure ownership (managerial and institusional). The population included in manufacture companies for four years. Sampling using a purposive sampling method and obtained 128 samples that meet the criteria and free from outliers. The data was analyzed by multiple regression. The results showed investment decisions, funding decisions, institusional ownership structure and significant positive effect on firm value. But for the dividend policy, structure of managerial ownership has negative effect and not significant on firm value.Keywords : investment decisions, funding decisions, dividend policy, structure ownership, firm value.

Abstract

This study focused on examining the influence of organizational structure, systems remunerasi, on work motivation in order to improve the performance of employees at the tax office in Semarang Region. Respondents in this study were employees of the Directorate General of Taxation in Semarang with the number of sampling 120 people. The results of data analysis showed that all the hypotheses proposed in this study is acceptable. This means that there are positive and significant influence of organizational structure variables, remunerasi system, to work motivation and employee performance in order to increase the tax directorate general region of Semarang. Thus through the efforts of organizational structure, systems that supportthe organization remunerasi be better in accordance with the changes being made, so as to motivate the work in order to improve the performance of employees so as to provide maximum service to the public, especially taxpayers. Processing of data obtained on the influence of the organizational structure of work motivation is 0.32; the influence of the system remunerasi of work motivation is 0.42; influence the organizational structure of the performance of employees is 0.21; remunerasi system influence on the performance of employees is 0.23; and the influence of motivation on employee performance is 0.25.Keywords : organization structure, remuneration system, work motivation, and employee performance

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aimed to investigate and analyze the students’ perceptions of the online tradingsimulation method in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research sample consisted of 100students of Faculty of Economics of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University and students ofFaculty of Economics of Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta who became investors andwere active in trading. The analysis method was an independent test of mean difference.The results of the study showed that there was difference in perceptions between studentsof Faculty of Economics of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University and students of Faculty ofEconomics of Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta regarding the online trading simultionmethod with a significance value of 0.004. This was caused by different behavioral intentionsbetween students of Faculty of Economics of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University and studentsof Faculty of Economics of Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta in doing the online tradingsimulation, however the online trading simulation was joyful and effective for them to learn stockinvestment in the capital market.Keywords : persepsi, simulasi, online trading, Bursa Efek Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to analyze what factors affect has not been applied municipal islamic bondsin a potentially sukuk region in Indonesia. Previous research already exists that discusseswhich areas have the potential to publish municipal Islamic bonds but until now no region haspublished municipal islamic bonds. Whereas municipal Islamic bonds can cover the budgetdeficit of regional income and can finance the development of regional infrastructure so that noneed debt. Therefore, the authors do research what factors are the cause by using the methodof analytic network process to obtain the priority scale of the causal factor has not been appliedmunicipal islamic bonds in the area of potentially sukuk in Indonesia. From this research, itis found that there are two main problem that is internal and external problem. Abstract

The banking crises over the last two decades around the world has renewed the interestin market discipline in banking systems. This interest is not merely academic, but it alsoapparent in recent policy initiatives such as the latest capital proposal by The Basel Commiteeon Banking Supervision. The new Basel Capital Accord has 3 pillars. Pillar 3 is disclosurerequirement to enhance market discipline. Market discipline has the potential to reinforcepillar 1 ( minimum capital standar) and pillar 2 (supervisory review process) and promote safetyand soundness in banks and financial systems. The first objective of this paper is to explainbank regulatory and the important of market discipline to complement bank regulatory. Thesecond objective is to explain the framework of market discipline theory and ask some issue:what is market discipline, why the call for market discipline, how market discipline relates toagency conflict in finance theory and how is the framework of market discipline in banking.The third objective is to review some empirical research in market discipline.Keywords : Banking Crises, Moral Hazard, Market Discipline and Bank Regulatory
