Abstract

The rapid development of the global economy, accompanied by increasing business competition and digital transformation, requires an entrepreneurial model that not only emphasizes economic profit but also upholds ethical values, social responsibility, and sustainability. In this context, sharia entrepreneurship offers an alternative business approach by integrating Islamic principles into entrepreneurial activities to achieve both economic prosperity and social welfare. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic business concepts and sharia entrepreneurship in promoting community economic development from the perspective of Islamic economics. The research employed a qualitative approach using the library research method. Data were collected from the Qur'an, Hadith, books, scientific articles, national and international journals, and other relevant literature, and were analyzed using content analysis. The findings indicate that sharia entrepreneurship is founded upon the principles of tawhid, justice, trustworthiness, honesty, professionalism, and public welfare. Its implementation contributes to employment creation, income generation, economic independence, and equitable wealth distribution through Islamic economic instruments. Furthermore, from the perspective of maqashid al-shariah, sharia entrepreneurship supports the protection of religion, life, intellect, lineage, and wealth. Therefore, strengthening the sharia entrepreneurship ecosystem is essential for fostering sustainable, inclusive, and equitable community economic development based on Islamic values.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the environmental knowledge, perceptions, and actions of MSME actors impact the implementation of Sharia green economy. This study employs an associative approach using a quantitative research design. The data used in this study are primary data. The data collection technique involved distributing questionnaires to respondents. The population of this study consists of 50 MSMEs. This study employed total sampling. The results of this study indicate that environmental knowledge and perceptions do not have a significant effect on the implementation of Sharia green economy practices among MSMEs in Sidodadi Village. Meanwhile, behavior has a positive and significant effect on the implementation of Sharia green economy practices among MSMEs in Sidodadi Village. However, environmental knowledge, perceptions, and behavior simultaneously have a significant effect on the implementation of Sharia green economy among MSMEs in Sidodadi Village. This is evidenced by the results of the F-test, which show a calculated F-value of 26.694 > the table F-value of 2.807, with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. In addition, the results of the coefficient of determination test showed an (R) Square value of 0.635, which means that the variables of environmental knowledge, perception, and behavior account for 63.5% of the variation in the adoption of Sharia green economy, while the remaining 36.5% is influenced by other variables outside the scope of this study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze tourists' experiences of halal culinary tourism at the Zona KHAS Berendo Merah Putih in Bengkulu City, examine the implementation of the green economy concept, and identify the integration of Islamic economic values in managing the area. A qualitative approach with a phenomenological method was employed. The participants consisted of six halal culinary business owners and ten tourists selected through purposive and convenience sampling techniques. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The findings show that tourists had positive experiences because of the variety of halal food, the religious atmosphere, the comfort of the area, and the hospitality of business owners. The implementation of the green economy concept is reflected in the use of reusable dining utensils and efforts to maintain environmental cleanliness. However, waste management and environmentally friendly packaging have not been fully implemented because most businesses still use single-use plastics and do not consistently separate waste. Business practices also reflect halal principles, trustworthiness, honesty, and good customer service. The study concludes that the integration of the green economy and Islamic economics has been implemented but requires stronger environmental sustainability efforts to achieve more effective and sustainable tourism management.

Abstract

The transformation of algorithmic personalization technology on e-commerce platforms has an impact on the behavior and quality of Islamic human resources. This study aims to examine the effect of algorithmic personalization on the Islamic human capital of Muslim students in Lamongan, with self-control as a mediator, from Umer Chapra's perspective. The method used was quantitative, causal research. The study sample consisted of 102 people, determined using proportionate stratified sampling techniques with data analysis using PLS-SEM. The results of the study consist of: 1) algorithmic personalization has no significant effect on Islamic human capital. 2) algorithmic personalization has a significant effect on self-control. 3) self-control has a significant effect on Islamic human capital. 3) self-control is proven to significantly mediate the effect of algorithmic personalization on the Islamic human capital of Muslim students in Lamongan. These findings indicate that algorithmic personalization does not directly influence Islamic human capital, but rather through the role of self-control as a mediating variable. From Umer Chapra's perspective, strengthening self-control is a crucial factor in shaping the quality of an individual's Islamic human capital, ensuring that the use of digital technology remains aligned with Islamic values and the goals of public welfare.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of local wisdom in the practice of coffee trading and examine its conformity with Islamic economic principles in Tapak Gedung Village, Kepahiang Regency. Coffee is the primary commodity supporting the community's economy, where trading practices have been carried out traditionally from generation to generation. The research employed a qualitative field research approach using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. Informants consisted of coffee farmers, collectors, religious leaders, and village officials who understood the coffee trading mechanism. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that coffee trading practices are strongly influenced by local wisdom values such as trust, kinship, and long-term social relationships. However, several practices still indicate elements of uncertainty in determining quality, prices, and payment systems that have not fully complied with Islamic economic principles, particularly regarding transparency and fairness. Nevertheless, the local wisdom maintained by the community also contributes positively to sustaining harmonious social relations among market participants. Therefore, strengthening public understanding of Islamic business ethics is necessary so that local wisdom can continue to develop without contradicting Islamic legal principles.
