Abstract

The study identifies the effect of the flipped classroom strategy and the command method in learning certain basic skills in football for second-grade students in the middle stage, and the preference of the effect between the flipped classroom strategy and the command method in learning some skills in football. The experimental method was used with the pre- and post-tests to fit the research problem as the best way to achieve its goals.  The study population was (90) intermediate students of the second-grade intermediate leadership. The  study sampled (60) students who were selected through the lottery system for the two divisions (A, C), and they represent 66% of the original population, and the most important results of the research were - The flipped classroom strategy is superior to the command method in the performance of rolling and handling skills of the second grade students in the middle stage.- Enhancing the positive role of the student, achieving harmony with the study material, and creating a spirit of competition and enthusiasm, which led to an increase in classroom interaction.

Abstract

The researcher used an experimental design with equivalent groups on a sample of (18) third-year female students from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Qasim Green University during the academic year (2025-2026). The students were divided equally into two groups (experimental and control). The educational program consisted of (9) learning units, one unit per week, each lasting (90) minutes, interspersed with mental and practical exercises that considered individual differences. After conducting post-tests and statistically analyzing the data, the results showed that the experimental group, which studied using the Inclusion Style, outperformed the control group in terms of performance level in (learning the long high forehand serve, short backhand serve, and forehand shot). The researcher concluded that the Inclusion Style gives the learner freedom of decision and increases their motivation by allowing them to choose a performance level that suits their abilities, which effectively contributed to developing accuracy and skill.

Abstract

Volleyball is a team sport, which demands complex physical, technical, tactical and psychological preparation to reach high level physical performance. Psychological factors are playing an increasing role in the sport context of modern sporting events because they directly affect the sports performance of the players, particularly among young players who undergo emotional and psychological changes at this stage of their lives. With the increase in competition, players are under a lot of psychological pressure and mental skills like self-confidence, concentration and decision making are a must to maintain performance and succeed. By observing Al-Qasim Volleyball Club players continuously it was observed that the psychological pressure that players experience before and during the match may have a negative impact on their performance in the match in various aspects such as focus, confidence and decision making on the court. Technical and physical efficiency can decrease due to high levels of psychological stress, while handling stress can improve efficiency and lead to positive outcomes. Thus, the present study was undertaken to study the effect of the psychological pressure on competitive performance of players of Al-Qasim Volleyball club and to find out the relation between psychological stress and athletic achievement in volleyball.

Abstract

The study sought to examine the effectiveness of Marzano’s Dimensions of Learning model in enhancing complex skill performance (receiving, dribbling, and shooting) as well as improving quick decision-making under pressure in basketball among students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at the University of Babylon. The researcher adopted an experimental approach using a pre-test–post-test design with experimental and control groups. The sample consisted of 60 students selected from a population of 148.The results showed a significant superiority for the experimental group in all variables, with high rates of improvement compared to the control group. The effect size values also showed a significant effect of the Marzano model on the development of skill performance and decision-making, supported by the results of the associated variance analysis that confirmed the strength of the effect of the educational program. These results are attributed to the model's reliance on multidimensional learning, which integrates knowledge and application in real-world play situations, contributing to the development of motor skills and mental processes associated with decision-making under pressure.

Abstract

The importance of the research was evident in the fact that the teaching process is based on an important technical means of transferring information from the teacher to the student, which is the teaching method and through the teaching method (interactive video), which the more appropriate it is, the better the teaching process occurs with less effort, the problem of the research was the lack of use of interactive video presentation, especially in the subject of teaching methods and in the practical aspect, and the lack of use of audio-visual and interactive presentation that depends on providing simultaneous feedback with practical performance during daily educational units, which depend on (text - movement - video - actual views), the research aimed to use educational units that rely on interactive video presentation based on audio-visual feedback according to the physical education lesson plan in the subject of teaching methods. The researcher used the experimental method according to the two equivalent groups; the research sample was from third-year students at Maysan University, College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. Educational units (2) units were given per week, and the researcher approved a form to evaluate the student's practical performance, containing (20) paragraphs, according to the sections of the lesson plan on the practical side, according to a grade scale of (1 – 5), after conducting statistical operations, the researcher concluded that the sample of students who used the interactive educational video in the post-tests outperformed the sample of students who used the method approved by the teacher in practical performance according to the physical education lesson plan in the subject of teaching methods, the researcher recommended using interactive educational video in the second and third stage curriculum in the subject of teaching methods and other subjects for all stages within the curriculum.
