Tentang Jurnal Ini Pendahuluan: Dalam periode setahun terakhir, OGZ Research & Publishing telah menerbitkan empat edisi Jurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis dengan beberapa artikel ilmiah dalam setiap edisinya. Tujuan dari evaluasi ini adalah untuk menilai kualitas, relevansi topik, dan kontribusi Jurnal Bisnis dan Ekonomi dalam menyediakan pengetahuan yang bernilai bagi komunitas akademik dan praktisi bisnis. Metode: Untuk melaksanakan evaluasi ini, dilakukan peninjauan dan analisis terhadap edisi jurnal Bisnis dan Ekonomi yang diterbitkan 4 kali dalam 1 tahun (Januari-April-Juli-Oktober). Aspek-aspek yang dinilai meliputi kualitas penulisan, kebaruan kontribusi, metodologi penelitian yang digunakan, dan relevansi dengan perkembangan terkini dalam bidang bisnis dan ekonomi. Hasil: Jurnal Bisnis dan Ekonomi berhasil mempertahankan kualitas publikasi yang konsisten selama setahun terakhir. Setiap edisi jurnal menampilkan artikel-artikel yang ditulis dengan baik, dengan pendekatan metodologi yang jelas dan argumen yang kuat. Jurnal ini mencakup berbagai topik ekonomi dan bisnis, seperti manajemen, pemasaran, keuangan, ekonomi makro, dan lainnya. Setiap artikel memberikan wawasan baru dan pemikiran kritis yang relevan dengan tantangan dan perubahan dalam dunia ekonomi, bisnis dan manajemen umum. Selain itu, jurnal ini menunjukkan komitmen yang kuat terhadap kualitas editorial dan proses peer review yang ketat. Artikel-artikel yang diterbitkan melalui proses seleksi yang hati-hati dan melibatkan pakar dalam bidang terkait. Hal ini menjamin kualitas dan validitas penelitian yang diterbitkan. Kesimpulan: Secara keseluruhan, Jurnal Bisnis dan Ekonomi telah berhasil mempublikasikan artikel ilmiah berkualitas tinggi dalam bidang bisnis dan ekonomi. Kualitas penulisan yang baik, relevansi topik yang luas, dan kontribusinya terhadap perkembangan pengetahuan di bidang bisnis dan ekonomi menjadikan jurnal ini sebagai sumber informasi yang berharga bagi komunitas akademik dan praktisi bisnis. Dewan Review selalu berusaha untuk menjaga standar kualitas editorial, meningkatkan visibilitas jurnal, dan memperluas jaringan kolaborasi dengan peneliti dan praktisi bisnis. Upaya-upaya ini akan memperkuat pengaruh jurnal ini dalam masyarakat akademik dan industri, serta meningkatkan kontribusi Jurnal Bisnis dan Ekonomi dalam menghadapi tantangan dan perubahan di bidang ekonomi dan bisnis.

Abstract

Abstract:Teacher productivity is a teacher's ability to manage all aspects of their professional duties effectively and efficiently to achieve educational goals. Productive teachers not only fulfill their teaching obligations but are also able to plan lessons effectively, implement meaningful teaching and learning processes, conduct appropriate evaluations, and continuously improve their professional competence. The level of teacher productivity is influenced by various factors, including principal leadership, the work environment, motivation, and infrastructure support.Objectives: The objectives of this study were to determine the level of productivity of elementary school teachers in Cibarusah District. To determine the application of transformational leadership by principals in elementary schools in Cibarusah District. To determine the work environment conditions of elementary school teachers in Cibarusah District. To determine the effect of transformational leadership on elementary school teacher productivity in Cibarusah District. To determine the influence of the work environment on elementary school teacher productivity in Cibarusah District. To determine how transformational leadership and the work environment simultaneously have a significant effect on elementary school teacher productivity in Cibarusah District.Methodology: The approach chosen for this investigation involved qualitative research methods, given their capacity to facilitate a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the subject under examination.Research Results: The study findings indicate that the implementation of a transformational leadership approach significantly improves teacher performance. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of salesperson negotiation competence on the achievement of corporate contract targets in hotels. Negotiation competence is considered one of the crucial factors in building sustainable business relationships, particularly with corporate clients who have diverse needs and expectations. The research methodology employed a qualitative approach using in-depth interviews with sales personnel and hotel sales and marketing management. Primary data were collected through a structured set of questions covering aspects such as negotiation preparation, negotiation techniques, relationship-building ability, communication, and strategy adjustment during the negotiation process. The interview results were analyzed descriptively to identify patterns, strategies, and challenges encountered in achieving corporate contract targets. The findings reveal that salesperson negotiation competence plays a significant role in the attainment of corporate contract targets. Thorough preparation through client needs assessment, strategic flexibility in handling objections, and effective two-way communication were found to facilitate agreement achievement. Furthermore, long-term relationships with clients strongly contribute to loyalty and recurring contract opportunities. The main obstacles identified stem from contract requirements perceived as burdensome by some companies; however, these can be mitigated through an adaptive negotiation approach. In conclusion, this study emphasizes that enhancing negotiation competence, particularly in the areas of product knowledge, communication skills, and adaptive strategies, is the key to successfully achieving hotel corporate contract targets.

Abstract

This study examines ways to attract more tourists to Jakarta's Old Town, with the goal of increasing visitor numbers. In accordance with the policy stipulated in Law Number 10 of 2009, the tourism sector is a crucial aspect of the Indonesian economy. Jakarta's Old Town, rich in history and culture, is the focus of this study. In this study, a qualitative descriptive approach was used to identify potential, design strategies, and assess existing challenges. Tourism development focused on three main aspects: attractions, activities, and accessibility, as well as tourism products, reinforced by strategic theory and the role of government. From the findings of this study, it is hoped that an efficient development strategy can be formulated to capitalize on the unique history of Jakarta's Old Town. Cooperation from all relevant parties and professional management support are essential to achieve this. The primary goal is to increase visitor numbers while empowering local communities, preserving cultural heritage, and sustainably improving the local economy.

Abstract

Objective: The academic and cultural exchange between the University of Economics and Finance (UEF), Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and the Perbanas Institute, Indonesia, held from August 8–9, 2025, was a huge success. The program, themed "To Bridging Asian Minds: Vietnam Experience with UEF," aimed to strengthen cross-border academic networks, broaden research horizons, and deepen cultural understanding.Methodology: The series of activities included a scientific seminar on sustainable development in the ASEAN region, an interactive discussion on the application of ESG in the banking sector, a visit to a company developing a sustainable industrial park, and an exploration of cultural and historical sites in Ho Chi Minh City and Tay Ninh.Research Findings: The results of this collaboration demonstrate that it effectively builds knowledge bridges, strengthens institutional relationships, and fosters the internationalization of sustainable education in the Asian region.Keywords: Academic exchange, internationalization of education, sustainable development, ESG, cross-border cooperation

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to identify and analyze the factors influencing the decision to major in tourism at Pertiwi University and identify the most influential factors.   Methodology: Based on the research problem, this study is a descriptive study using a survey method. The sample size for this study was 60 students majoring in tourism at Pertiwi University. Sampling was conducted using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was an online questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale. Data were analyzed by measuring the percentage of respondents who responded to the survey.   Research Results: The results indicate that interest, personality, and job opportunities were 93% likely to agree that these factors influenced the decision to major in tourism at Pertiwi University. Another factor, university reputation, was 92% likely to influence the decision to major in tourism at Pertiwi University.

Abstract

Abstract: A corporate outing is an activity held by a company for its employees outside the office, typically for recreational, educational, or team-building purposes. Outings are a way for the company to show its support for its employees, helping them to boost their morale and build teamwork. The goals of outings are generally related to improving team performance, building better communication, and creating a positive work environment.   Objectives: This study aims to achieve two primary goals. First, it seeks to empirically analyze the influence of service quality dimensions. Second, it aims to evaluate the overall performance of the event organizer based on key indicators, including logistical success, communication effectiveness, and overall participant experience.   Methodology: Using a quantitative approach, we conducted interviews with event organizers.   Research Results: Based on the researcher's interview with Ms. Fathiya, Head of the Administration & Public Relations Division, the complaint handling method used when complaints come in is either in person or via WhatsApp. Complaint handling is indeed a crucial part of this Corporate Outing activity. This means that complaints are not only submitted via social media or the internet, but also through face-to-face discussions.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the use of Instagram as marketing content within Glasmacher Coffee's marketing strategy. The background to this research is based on the increasing use of social media in Indonesia, particularly Instagram, which has become a primary means of marketing products and services, including the coffee shop industry. Initial observations indicate that Glasmacher Coffee utilizes its official Instagram account, @glasmacher.coffee, as a promotional medium through uploading photos, videos, reels, and stories to increase brand awareness and attract new customers. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, direct observation, open-ended questionnaires, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that Glasmacher Coffee's Instagram marketing strategy focuses on creating aesthetically pleasing visual content relevant to its target audience of young people. The use of Instagram features such as feeds, reels, and stories has proven effective in increasing consumer engagement. However, this study also identified challenges such as limited human resources, changes in the Instagram algorithm, and a lack of consistency in content management. The study concluded that using Instagram as a content marketing medium can increase brand awareness and build engagement with consumers, although more consistent content management and strategies that adapt to changing digital trends are still needed. Abstract

Abstract: Objective: This study aims to analyse the effect of the Fed interest rate and inflation on the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) of automotive companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2019-2023. Methodology: The research method used a quantitative approach with secondary data from the Federal Reserve and IDX. The sample consisted of seven automotive companies selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis included classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, autocorrelation) and linear regression tests. Research Findings: The results indicate that, both partially and simultaneously, the Fed interest rate and inflation do not have a significant effect on the IHSG (Sig. > 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 7.9% indicates that 92.1% of the IHSG's movement is influenced by factors outside the model, such as company performance or domestic policy. This finding is consistent with previous studies stating that external factors such as the Fed interest rate and global inflation have a limited impact on the automotive sector IHSG. Abstract

Abstract The global phenomenon of the halal industry demonstrates its evolution from a normative religious issue into a driver of international economic growth with strong implications for social, cultural, and environmental dimensions. Nevertheless, a research gap persists as most academic studies focus on Muslim-majority countries, while the potential of non-Muslim countries such as Vietnam remains underexplored. This study is crucial to address the urgency of developing Vietnam’s halal industry, which has a strong foundation in agriculture, fisheries, coffee, and spices with high export potential. The objectives of this research are to analyze how Vietnam’s halal economy can be optimized through lessons learned from Indonesia, to examine the role of social inclusivity in strengthening cross-cultural cohesion, to understand the integration of halal principles with sustainable development agendas, and to propose an international collaboration model based on co-learning, co-design, and co-invest. The research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach through literature studies, field observations in Ho Chi Minh City, and focused group discussions. The findings reveal that halal functions as a strategic instrument for economic competitiveness, social cohesion, and environmental sustainability. Recommendations include establishing a national halal authority, promoting green halal, and strengthening regional halal diplomacy. This study contributes to enriching the literature on halal development in non-Muslim countries while providing practical policy insights for Vietnam and Indonesia. Abstract

Abstract This study analyzes the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) into the strategy of PT Sedana Proteksi Sinergi (Sedana Re), an Indonesian reinsurance broker, using PESTEL, Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE), External Factor Evaluation (EFE), and SWOT/IE Matrix. Results show IFE 2.50 (internal conditions average/threshold), EFE 2.55 (opportunities slightly dominate), and PESTEL 3.90 (supportive context). The IE Matrix positions the firm at cell 5 (hold & maintain), implying targeted internal consolidation (WO)—finalizing the ESG roadmap, strengthening human capital and IT, and data governance—alongside pilot ESG monetization (SO). Findings affirm ESG as a nucleus for strategic renewal rather than mere compliance for mid-scale reinsurance brokers.
