Abstract

This study aims to analyze the meaning of the lyrics of the song "Sorai" by Nadin Amizah and explore the factors that support its success in the Indonesian music industry. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through an in-depth analysis of the lyrics and context of the song. The results showed the lyrics of the song "Sorai" contain deep emotional meanings about separation, love, and the process of maturity. Nadin's ability to string together simple yet meaningful poetic words is the main factor that touches the hearts of her listeners. This song is not only an aesthetic expression, but also a means of reflection on personal experiences that can build strong emotional connections with the audience.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the meaning and emotions contained in the song “Ah” by Nadin Amizah. The research method used is descriptive. The research results show that the song “Ah” contains a very deep meaning of happiness and love, which describes the experience of someone who finally finds the right partner after going through a long waiting process. The emotions contained in this song are happiness, luck, and relief, which depicts harmony in a loving relationship full of affection. This research can provide insight into how songs can be a means of expressing human emotions and experiences, as well as how analysis of song lyrics can be used to understand the meaning and emotions contained in a song.

Abstract

The song "Bayar Bayar Bayar" by the band Sukatani describes a social critique of injustice in public services in Indonesia, especially those involving the police institution. Through simple yet meaningful repetitive lyrics, the song reflects the reality of people's lives who have to face additional costs to obtain public services that should be free or fair. In this analysis, the song is connected to Nancy Fraser's concept of social injustice, which shows the inequality in the distribution of social rights, as well as the instrumental theory of law which states that law is often a tool for certain interests. The aesthetic techniques used in the song, including repetition and hyperbole, strengthen the message of social criticism, making it a means of resistance to corrupt social structures. In the Indonesian social context, the song also serves as a reflection of society's distrust of public institutions and becomes a medium of expression that encourages collective awareness of broader issues of injustice.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze in regard of women's social conditions in the film Holy Spiderdirected by Ali Abbasi. Using a descriptive qualitative approach based on Simone de Beauvoir's theory of women's position, Erving Goffman's theory of stigma, Michel Foucault's theory of power, and the sociology of literature approach, this research reveals how Holy Spiderrepresents gender inequality and the oppression of women within Iran's social structure. The characters Rahimi, a journalist, along with Somayeh and Soghra, who are sex workers, illustrate how women experience restricted mobility, violence, discrimination, and social marginalization. The findings show that the portrayal of women's social conditions in the film not only reflects the social realities in Iran but also highlights how power and social norms contribute to reinforcing injustice against women. Through this film, Abbasi presents the harsh reality faced by women living under a rigid patriarchal system that denies space for gender equality.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the fermentation process of glutinous rice into tape and its potential as a source of learning Natural Sciences (IPA) in elementary schools. The fermentation process is a real example of chemical changes that can be directly observed by students. Through a contextual approach and simple experiments, students can understand basic concepts such as microorganisms, changes in substances, and factors that influence fermentation. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the exploration show that the tape fermentation process can be used as an interesting and relevant learning media to improve the understanding of science concepts as a whole and encourage students' active involvement in the learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how effective smart clothing is in improving students' understanding of basic energy concepts in grade 3 of SDN Kaliwates 2 Jember. Smart Clothing Media consists of clothing cards with different energy images that help students understand the material visually and kinesthetically through grouping activities and group discussions. This study was conducted through a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type used. Interviews, documentation, and observation are data collection methods. The results of the study indicate that the use of this media can increase students' interest in learning, students' active involvement in learning, and their understanding of the material. Smart Clothing Media is considered effective because it presents material in a concrete, interactive, and fun way, thus supporting the achievement of science learning objectives optimally.

Abstract

This research examines the role of parents in encouraging students' learning achievement at SMP Negeri 8 Palangka Raya. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of parents in encouraging student achievement in all conditions at SMP Negeri 8 Palangka Raya. The method used was descriptive method with interview techniques to two interviewee with different socio-economic backgrounds. The results showed that parents' involvement in guiding students, implementing time discipline, limiting the use of gadgets, and providing moral support and learning facilities play an important role in the success of students' academic and non-academic achievements. The challenges faced, such as time constraints and busy work schedules, both interviewee still try to support students' education through monitoring technology, open communication, and providing learning motivation. This research confirms that socio-economic status in various conditions is not the main factor that determines learner achievement, but rather the support and active involvement of parents.

Abstract

Indonesia, as a country whose population adheres to various religions, faces a high risk of religious intolerance. As an effort to address conflicts rooted in religious intolerance, it is necessary to foster an attitude of religious moderation based on the principles of justice, balance, and tolerance. One way to implement the principles of religious moderation is through Civics education for students. The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of the principles of religious moderation in Civic learning for Grade X students at SMAN 4 Blitar. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques employed are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings show that the implementation of the principles of religious moderation in Civics learning for Grade X students at SMAN 4 Blitar is carried out throughout various learning processes. The principles of justice and balance are applied in student grouping activities as well as in the assessment stage. Meanwhile, discussion activities using the jigsaw learning method serve as the main activity in applying the principles of religious moderation in Civics learning at SMAN 4 Blitar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Write it! Japanese application in improving the ability to write Hiragana and Katakana characters among beginners. The research involved 20 participants with no prior experience in learning Japanese. A pre-test and post-test design was employed, in which participants were asked to write 20 Hiragana and 20 Katakana characters before and after using the application independently for seven consecutive days, for 15 minutes per day. The results showed a significant increase in the average score from 45.05% (pre-test) to 79.05% (post-test), with an average improvement of 34%. The findings indicate that the Write it! Japanese application is effective in facilitating the learning process through stroke order animations, interactive writing practice, and gamified features that enhance motivation. Additionally, the application supports self-directed learning and serves as an efficient and engaging alternative medium for language acquisition. These findings reinforce the importance of integrating technology into foreign language education, particularly in the early stages of learning Japanese kana.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the leadership character formed through the activities of the Student Organization (OSIS) at SMA Negeri 4 Blitar. The background of this research stems from the importance of building leadership character among the younger generation so that they can face the challenges of the times. As a student organization, OSIS plays a strategic role in instilling leadership values such as responsibility, independence, teamwork, integrity, and a sense of nationalism. To achieve this goal, the study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection is carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and analysis of documentation. The results of the study show that various programs implemented by OSIS, such as leadership training, class meetings, and both academic and non-academic competitions, effectively contribute to shaping students' leadership character. The study concludes that active student involvement in OSIS activities plays a crucial role in the development of leadership character within the school environment.
