Abstract

This comprehensive study investigates the transformative impact of cutting-edge technologies Block-chain, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), and the Internet of Things (IoT) on Afghanistan's tourism industry. Employing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and a purposive sampling method, data was collected from 21 tourism agencies and 79 stakeholders across diverse provinces. The mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative data, ensures a holistic understanding of technology integration dynamics. Ethical considerations, encompassing informed consent and participant anonymity, were paramount. Empirical findings consistently reflect positive perceptions regarding the technologies' transformative influence. Descriptive statistics underscore their significant impact on operational efficiency, productivity, collaboration, and financial profitability in Afghanistan's tourism sector. One-Sample T-Tests confirm a statistically significant increase in collaboration with stakeholders, while also highlighting challenges in adopting advanced technologies. Contributing valuable insights, the study provides tailored recommendations for Afghan tourism, including strategic technology adoption, capacity building, public-private partnerships, cybersecurity prioritization, community engagement promotion, and continuous monitoring and evaluation. Bridging academia and industry, these recommendations offer practical guidance. In conclusion, this research not only advances theoretical understanding but also furnishes actionable strategies for tourism agencies to strategically leverage cutting-edge technologies in Afghanistan. The study advocates for ongoing research to explore evolving technologies and their sustained impact on the dynamic global tourism landscape, ensuring continuous adaptation and growth.

Abstract

This study aimed to explore the impact of using marketing automation in customer relationship management strategies and ultimately improving management performance in the context of B2B Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The research method involved primary data collection using a quantitative approach and a non-probability sampling method, specifically purposive sampling, on 105 samples that actively use marketing automation tools. The analysis technique used was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of Lisrel 8.80 software. The results show that marketing automation has a positive and significant impact on B2B customer relationship management, with reach of message as the most dominant indicator, contributing 65.61%. Furthermore, B2B customer relationship management also has a positive and significant effect on Marketing Performance, where improving the quality of customer relationships is the most dominant indicator at 77.4%, and the most dominant indicator in shaping marketing performance is having a larger market, accounting for 42.25%. The conclusion of this study is that the use of marketing automation in customer relationship management strategies can improve the marketing performance of B2B-based MSMEs.

Abstract

The Digital Talent Scholarship (DTS) program by the BPSDM (Center for Human Resources Development and Research) Kominfo aims to enhance the skills and competencies of Indonesian human resources in the digital field. One such program is the Digital Entrepreneurship Academy (DEA) program, which trains individuals to accelerate the growth of digital technology in entrepreneurship. This study aims to understand the DEA Program training in Pamekasan Regency, conducted by BPSDMP Kominfo Surabaya, and its benefits. The qualitative research method used is interviews, observation, documentation, and literature studies. Results show that almost 100% of participants in the DEA program experienced success in business development through networking both offline and online. The study concludes that progress has been significant in the DEA Program training, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, which has shifted many activities from conventional to digital, including entrepreneurial activities. Monitoring is necessary to ensure the program's resources, expected outputs, and constraints. The research aims to provide an overview and study of digital entrepreneurship by the government to the community.

Abstract

This paper revisits trilateration in three-dimensional positioning. Specifically, range between a positioning target and the reference points through time-of-flight (ToF) measurements. In a ToF, range is yielded by multiplying the time required by a wave to travel between two points and its propagation speed. Position of the target can be then estimated once the number of references are adequate, i.e. at least three for two-dimensional positioning and four for three-dimensional one. In this paper, the positioning is considered for navigation where the target moves following a trajectory whilst the ToFs take place in a certain period. The target position at the time is computed based on the ToFs through least square estimation. Through a numerical simulation, it is shown that the trilateration can track a target’s trajectory despite the decreasing performance at the end of the course.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on health services for breast cancer patients. During the COVID-19 pandemic, there were new government regulations, namely PSBB or large-scale social restrictions. During the PSBB, activities in public facilities are limited to only urgent interests. Therefore, breast cancer patients have difficulties during examination and treatment during the COVID-19 pandemic. The obstacles for breast cancer patients are difficulties in mobilizing to the hospital, health protocol regulations such as maintaining distance, discomfort when wearing masks and swabs before treatment, the emergence of fear and anxiety, expensive transportation costs during examination and treatment, and psychological disorders. So the impact is delay in examination (diagnostic delay) and delay in treatment (treatment delay) of breast cancer patients. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with an in-depth interview approach that is guided by semi-structured questions and triangulates the perspectives of patients, patients' families, and health workers. The study was conducted from November 2021 to August 2022. The sample used was 27 respondents by purposive sampling. Analysis using condensed text system. There are breast cancer patients who express fear of seeking treatment during the COVID-19 pandemic because of the increasing number of pandemic cases and the stigma of being "covided". However, there are patients who express that they are not afraid to seek treatment during the pandemic because they have an optimistic and strong faith. Patients have problems seeking treatment during the pandemic due swab before treatment, feeling uncomfortable when wearing a mask, and transportation costs constraints. Patients experience diagnostic and treatment delays during the pandemic due to fear of being infected with the corona virus, lack of knowledge about symptoms and treatment of breast cancer, belief in alternative medicine, shyness to carry out initial examinations, fear of medical action, and queue lists. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there are internal and external factors that influence the COVID-19 pandemic on diagnostic delay and treatment delay in breast cancer patients

Abstract

Financial feasibility analysis is carried out to determine the financial feasibility of a product produced by industry, both large-scale industry and household-scale production. This research aims to obtain a calculation of the financial feasibility analysis of the kencur rice herbal drink product produced by the community on a household business scale. Aspects of financial feasibility analysis calculated in this research include COGS, BEP, R/C Ratio, NPV, IRR and PP. The results of the financial feasibility analysis show that the kencur rice herbal drink product is feasible to produce on a household scale or on a small scale. This is based on: (a) Cost of Production (HPP) of IDR 3,426; (b) selling price is IDR 6,500/bottle; (c) unit BEP of 16,255 and price BEP of IDR 105,655,630; (d) NPV with a positive value of IDR 524,143,499; (e) IRR for positive NPV is 60,390 and negative NPV is -287,375 which shows a higher figure compared to the bank interest rate, namely 212%; (f) R/C ratio of 1.90; (g) Payback Period which is shorter than the life of the project, namely 5 months.

In addition, e-customer behavior is studied as a mediator of promotional activities and purchasing decisions. Data was collected from a total of 160 E-commerce users in Indonesia through structured questionnaires and hypothesis testing using the PLS model. These results validate that promotional activities have a significant influence on e-customer behavior and direct purchasing decisions. Purchasing decisions are directly influenced by e-customer behavior. In addition, e-customer behavior completely mediates the relationship between promotional activities and buyer decisions which has an indirect influence. In this study, the sample size was limited to 160 respondents, most of whom came from Jabodetabek, Indonesia. It is recommended that future research use larger sample sizes and include individuals from various industry sectors.
