Abstract

This study aims to investigate the implementation of digital leadership in private higher education institutions in the digital era. The study examines the roles of visionary leadership, digital learning culture, professional excellence, systemic improvement, and digital citizenship in influencing the performance of private universities (PTS) in Southeast Sulawesi. An online questionnaire survey was adopted, and a non-probability sampling method using purposive sampling was applied. A total of 81 usable responses were collected from leaders of private higher education institutions in Southeast Sulawesi and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 3.3. The results show that digital learning culture, professional excellence, and digital citizenship have a positive effect on institutional performance. However, visionary leadership and systemic improvement do not show a statistically significant positive relationship with performance. These findings provide insights for researchers and future leaders in private higher education institutions regarding the important roles of digital learning culture, professional excellence, and digital citizenship in contemporary institutions. The novelty of this study contributes to the body of knowledge on digital leadership and institutional performance within the context of private higher education institutions in emerging markets.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of inflation, the BI interest rate (BI-Rate), and the rupiah exchange rate on the stock prices of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2021-2024 period. This study uses a quantitative method with secondary data. The sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique based on certain criteria, resulting in 16 banking companies with a total of 64 observational data. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS 25. The results of the study partially indicate that inflation, interest rates, and the exchange rate, the three independent variables, have no significant effect on the stock prices of banking companies. Simultaneously, the three variables also have no effect. The Adjusted R Square value obtained was 0.042 or 4.2%, which means that only 4.2% of the stock price variation can be explained by the variables of inflation, the BI interest rate, and the exchange rate, while the remaining 95.8% is explained by other factors outside the research model.

Abstract

This study explores the role of digital financial information quality in fostering trust and investment intention among Generation Z in Kendari City during the fintech era. Employing a qualitative approach with an ethnographic case study design conducted over a three-month period (January–March 2025), the study involved 12 participants aged 18–27 years through semi-structured interviews and observations of online investment communities. Inductive thematic analysis supported by NVivo 12 identified four major themes: (1) perceptions of the quality of digital financial information, (2) the dynamics of trust formation toward fintech platforms, (3) the drivers and barriers influencing investment intention, and (4) the role of the digital social ecosystem in investment decision-making. This study contributes theoretically by providing insights from a medium-sized city in Eastern Indonesia, where socioeconomic conditions and digital infrastructure differ from those of major metropolitan areas. It also offers practical recommendations for fintech developers, regulators, and educational institutions to support the advancement of national financial inclusion.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of financial performance, measured by Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), on the stock prices of Basic Materials companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2022–2024. A quantitative approach was applied using secondary data from annual reports and stock price records. Purposive sampling produced 77 companies and 231 observations. Stock price, measured using the natural logarithm of the closing price, was analyzed through multiple linear regression. The results show that ROA has a positive and significant effect on stock prices, indicating that effective asset utilization strengthens investor confidence. Meanwhile, ROE and DER have no significant partial effect on stock prices. However, ROA, ROE, and DER simultaneously significantly affect stock prices. The study concludes that financial performance influences stock prices, primarily through asset management efficiency. Future studies may include additional financial and macroeconomic variables.
