Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of perception and service quality on customer satisfaction at the Swiss Hotel Ambon. Perception and service quality are two essential factors that influence the overall customer experience during their stay. The research employs a quantitative method with a descriptive approach, collecting data through questionnaires from 50 respondents who are guests of the Swiss Hotel Ambon. Data analysis was performed using SPSS to test validity, reliability, and multiple linear regression analysis. The findings indicate that both perception and service quality have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.892 suggests that 89.2% of the variance in customer satisfaction can be explained by these two variables. In conclusion, the hotel must maintain and enhance customer perceptions and service quality to ensure high customer satisfaction, which can contribute to customer loyalty and a positive reputation in the competitive hospitality market

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of product layout on purchasing decisions at Alfamidi Minimarket in Desa Poka. In this research, product layout is examined through three main indicators: room space allocation, placement of tables and chairs, and product positioning. Meanwhile, purchasing decisions are measured through several stages, including problem recognition, information search, alternative evaluation, purchase decision, and post-purchase behavior. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach utilizing simple linear regression to assess the relationship between the independent variable (layout) and the dependent variable (purchasing decisions). The results show that product layout has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, contributing 34.3%. This finding indicates that a well-organized product layout can enhance shopping convenience, encourage impulse buying, and ultimately, increase customer satisfaction

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the problem-based learning (PBL) model in enhancing learning outcomes for 10th-grade students in Economics. This research utilized a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design involving two groups: an experimental class employing PBL and a control class applying conventional learning methods. The research instruments included pre-tests, post-tests, observation sheets, and questionnaires to measure students' responses toward PBL. Findings indicated that the post-test average in the experimental class showed a significantly higher improvement than the control class. The N-Gain value for the experimental class was classified as high, indicating a positive impact of PBL on students' understanding. Furthermore, the observation sheets and questionnaires revealed that students were more actively engaged, felt motivated, and demonstrated better collaborative and critical thinking skills. Overall, the PBL model proved effective in enhancing students' learning outcomes

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of financial reporting aggressiveness on tax reporting aggressiveness in manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2020-2022. A quantitative approach using multiple regression analysis is employed to examine the relationship between these variables, aiming to understand the extent to which aggressive financial reporting affects companies' tendencies toward aggressive tax reporting. The research data is obtained from annual financial statements published on the official IDX website and analyzed using SPSS version 25 statistical software. The findings reveal that financial reporting aggressiveness has a significant effect on tax reporting aggressiveness, indicating that companies with more aggressive financial reporting are likely to engage in aggressive tax reporting to minimize their tax liabilities. These findings provide important insights for policymakers and tax authorities regarding the need for stricter oversight of companies in this sector to ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of online transportation service quality, specifically Maxim, on customer satisfaction in Bentas, Nusaniwe District, Ambon City. The development of information and communication technology has significantly influenced various sectors, including transportation. Maxim, a Russian-based ride-hailing service, entered the Indonesian market in 2018 and has rapidly gained popularity, particularly due to its competitive pricing and user-friendly application. In Bentas, Maxim's services have gained traction, offering affordable rates compared to other competitors like Gojek and Grab. However, the influence of service quality on customer satisfaction in Ambon, particularly in Bentas, remains underexplored, prompting this research. The research aims to assess the extent to which Maxim’s service quality influences customer satisfaction. The study employs quantitative analysis using regression analysis to explore the relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction. Findings reveal that service quality significantly impacts customer satisfaction, with an increase of 1 unit in service quality leading to a 0.381 unit increase in customer satisfaction. This research is vital as it provides deeper insight into how service quality, which includes aspects such as reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy, directly influences customer experience. Maxim is encouraged to further improve service quality to enhance customer satisfaction in Bentas, Nusaniwe District, Ambon City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of tourist attractions and facilities on visitor satisfaction at Black Stone Beach, Liang Village, Salahutu District, Central Maluku Regency. Data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to 50 beach visitors and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that the variables of tourist attraction and facilities significantly affect visitor satisfaction. The F-test produced an F value of 91.723 with a significance of 0.000, indicating that both independent variables simultaneously affect visitor satisfaction. The t-test results show that the significance values for tourist attraction and facilities are 0.008 and 0.000, respectively, both smaller than 0.05, meaning that both variables significantly influence visitor satisfaction. The normality test shows that the data is normally distributed, while the heteroscedasticity and multicollinearity tests reveal no significant issues with the regression model. Practically, the management of Black Stone Beach is advised to improve the quality of tourist attractions and facilities to enhance visitor satisfaction and encourage an increase in tourist numbers. This finding is expected to provide insights for the management of tourist destinations in further development and contribute to the tourism sector in Maluku Province.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the use of differentiated learning approaches on student learning outcomes in Social Sciences (IPS) class VIII2 at SMP Negeri 8 Ambon. This study uses a quantitative method with a pseudo-experimental design. The research sample consisted of 31 students who were selected using the nonprobability sampling technique. The results of data analysis using the t-test showed that the tcount value was 8.668, while the ttable value at the degree of freedom (df) 29 with a significance level of 0.05 was 1.699. Because the tcount (8.668) is larger than the ttable (1.699), the research hypothesis is accepted. This shows that the differentiated learning approach has a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes. First, the results of the validity and reliability test show that all requirements in each variable are declared valid and reliable. It can be seen that Rcalculate Rtable, then all statement items are declared valid. Meanwhile, the reliability test for all variables was declared reliable because of Cronbach's alpha 0.60. Second, the differentiated learning approach has a positive and partially significant effect between the differentiated learning approach to learning outcomes. This means that the better the differentiated learning approach, the better the learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the value of the t-test results (partial) which shows that the tcount is 8,688 ttable 1,699 and significant 0.000 0.05, so it can be stated that H1 "differentiated learning approach affects the learning outcomes of social studies subjects of grade VIII2 students of SMP Negeri 8 Ambon" is accepted based on the results of hypothetical assumptions. Third, the magnitude of the determination coefficient or R2 is 0.721 or 72.1%, This shows that the percentage of influence of the differentiated learning approach has a great influence on the learning outcomes of social studies subjects. The remaining 27.9% was influenced by other variables that were not studied.
