Abstract

This study analyzes community perceptions of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in Waiheru Village, RT 014/RW 004. The program has been a critical instrument in the government's efforts to reduce poverty in Indonesia through conditional cash transfers to improve access to education, health, and social welfare. The research methodology employed a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews with PKH beneficiaries. The findings reveal that most community members have positive perceptions of PKH, particularly regarding support for education and healthcare. Many beneficiaries stated that their assistance helps them meet their children's educational needs and access healthcare services. However, challenges still need to be addressed in the program's implementation, such as delays in fund disbursement and inaccurate targeting of aid recipients, which are areas that require improvement. In conclusion, while PKH has significantly improved the welfare of low-income families, further enhancements in distribution accuracy and fund disbursement efficiency are necessary to maximize the program's impact.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the income of bodi fiber fishermen and the factors influencing it, such as weather, capital, technology, and fishing experience. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach by collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the income of bodi fiber fishermen tends to fluctuate, influenced by weather conditions and limited capital. Most fishermen use traditional fishing technology, such as nets, which are effective but have efficiency limitations. Experience also plays an important role, with more experienced fishermen generally having better catches. To improve fishermen's welfare, increased access to capital, modern technology, and skills training is necessary. This research provides insight into how government intervention and technical support can help improve the income and welfare of bodi fiber fishermen.

Abstract

This study examines work discipline's effect on employee performance at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Buru Selatan Regency. The research employed a quantitative approach through a survey involving 35 respondents selected using purposive sampling. The primary instrument, a questionnaire measuring work discipline and employee performance, was tested for validity and reliability before use. The results of the simple linear regression analysis show that work discipline has a positive and significant impact on employee performance, with a regression coefficient of 0.611. Additionally, hypothesis testing yielded a t-value of 3.976 with a significance level of 0.000, indicating that work discipline significantly contributes to performance improvement. The R² value of 0.668 indicates that 66.8% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by work discipline, while other factors influence the rest. These findings emphasize the importance of work discipline in improving employee performance, and management should focus on discipline management to achieve higher effectiveness
