Abstract

The main objective of this research is to evaluate the use of Quizizz as a web-based learning tool to meet the demands of technological advancement in the Merdeka Curriculum era. This study employed a descriptive quantitative design with purposive sampling, involving 120 students. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed through Google Forms, and analyzed using instrument validity checks by five experts with the Aiken V formula and reliability testing. The instrument was then used to measure student responses based on assessment indicators from I Nyoman Sudana Degeng. The results showed that the Quizizz application as a game-based learning medium was categorized as very good based on student responses in supporting the classroom learning process. In conclusion, Quizizz proves to be an effective digital tool aligned with the technological demands of the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the Audio-Oral (Audiolingual) methodology in developing Arabic speaking competencies among students at the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan (IIAU). Employing a qualitative research design, data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews with teachers and students, and document analysis of instructional materials. The findings indicate that the systematic application of listening-based repetition, pronunciation drills, and structured speech modeling significantly improves learners’ phonetic accuracy, auditory discrimination, speech fluency, and confidence in oral communication. The integration of digital tools and gamification strategies further enhances student motivation and supports independent learning beyond the classroom. Despite these positive outcomes, challenges such as limited exposure to a natural Arabic language environment, phonetic interference from learners’ native languages, and instructional monotony remain evident. The study concludes that combining the Audio-Oral method with communicative and digital approaches is essential for optimizing speaking skill development in Arabic language education.

Abstract

This study examines the role of modern pedagogical approaches in the educational process and evaluates their effectiveness in developing learners’ knowledge, skills, and competencies. It analyzes the pedagogical potential of applying concepts such as interactive methods, the constructivist approach, the competency-based approach, as well as differentiated and individualized instruction. The study substantiates the role of these approaches in enhancing learning activity, increasing student motivation, and fostering independent thinking. The research focuses on the methodological foundations of contemporary pedagogy, innovative educational technologies, and practical implementation mechanisms, identifying internal and external factors that influence educational quality. As a result, the pedagogical opportunities manifested in the impact of modern approaches on educational effectiveness are scientifically generalized.

Abstract

This article examines the physical and moral impact of tourism activities on school-age children, with a particular focus on the city of Qarshi. The study analyzes how educational tourism, recreational trips, cultural excursions, and sports-related travel influence children’s physical development, emotional well-being, social interaction skills, and moral values. Special attention is given to the role of tourism in shaping children's worldview, enhancing their civic responsibility, promoting healthy lifestyles, and strengthening their cultural awareness. The findings highlight both the positive outcomes and potential challenges associated with involving school-aged children in tourism activities, offering recommendations for creating safe, value-oriented, and pedagogically meaningful tourism programs.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop an interactive digital learning medium based on Articulate Storyline that is valid, practical, and effective in improving scientific literacy and learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary students in Enrekang Regency. The research employed a Research and Development design using the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Research subjects consisted of teachers and fifth-grade students from several elementary schools representing different geographical conditions. Data were collected through expert validation, practicality questionnaires, and learning achievement tests, then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including paired sample t-tests and N-Gain analysis. The results show that the developed learning media achieved high validity according to expert assessments, demonstrated good practicality in classroom implementation, and effectively improved students’ scientific literacy and learning outcomes. Abstract

This study aims to develop a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model based on local cultural literacy that meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness in improving students' critical thinking skills in Indonesian language learning at the junior high school level. The background of this study is based on the low critical thinking skills of students, which are still influenced by the dominance of conventional learning that is textual in nature, lacks context, and does not optimally utilize the potential of local culture as a meaningful learning resource. In fact, Indonesian language learning has great opportunities to integrate local cultural values in the development of higher- order thinking skills.The results showed that the PjBL learning model based on local cultural literacy had excellent validity and practicality based on expert assessments and positive responses from teachers and students. The effectiveness test also showed a significant increase in students' critical thinking skills after the implementation of the learning model, with N-Gain scores in the moderate to high category. These findings indicate that the integration of PjBL with local cultural literacy is capable of creating contextual, meaningful Indonesian language learning that is oriented towards strengthening critical thinking skills, while also supporting the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum and strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan merumuskan model implementasi Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIG) berbasis web untuk lembaga pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah tinjauan pustaka dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif terhadap berbagai publikasi ilmiah yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sistem Informasi Akademik berbasis web (SIAKAD) merupakan bentuk SIG yang paling banyak diimplementasikan di lembaga pendidikan. SIAKAD telah terbukti meningkatkan efisiensi manajemen akademik, transparansi layanan, dan akurasi data. Model implementasi yang diusulkan mencakup lima tahapan utama: analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, pengembangan dan pengujian, implementasi dan pelatihan, serta evaluasi dan pemeliharaan. Keberhasilan implementasi dipengaruhi oleh faktor teknis, sumber daya manusia, organisasi, dan keberlanjutan sistem. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoritis terhadap pengembangan studi SIG dan kontribusi praktis sebagai referensi bagi lembaga pendidikan dalam mengoptimalkan tata kelola berbasis teknologi informasi.
