The Free Health Check Program (CKG) is a school-based preventive health initiative intended to support early detection and strengthen adolescents’ health awareness. Participation, however, was incomplete at two senior high schools in Baranti District. This study analyzed the associations of knowledge, attitude, teacher support, implementation timing, and program implementation with student participation. An observational analytic study with a cross-sectional design was conducted among 83 students selected through stratified random sampling from SMAN 10 Sidenreng Rappang and MAN Sidenreng Rappang. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire that had demonstrated validity and reliability and were analyzed using the Chi-square test at α = 0.05. Of the respondents, 47 (56.6%) participated in the program. Knowledge (p < 0.001), teacher support (p = 0.041), implementation timing (p = 0.005), and program implementation (p = 0.001) were significantly associated with participation, whereas attitude was not (p = 0.398). These findings indicate that participation is associated with cognitive, reinforcing, and enabling factors. Schools and health services should strengthen pre-program health education, actively involve teachers, schedule activities to avoid academic conflicts, and improve service organization. Because the design was cross-sectional, the results indicate associations rather than causal relationships.

This study aims to analyze the relationship between human resources, management support, and system design with the effectiveness of the Generic Open Source Hospital Management Information System (SIMGOS) at Adinda Medical Centre, Sidenreng Rappang Regency, Indonesia. The study employed a quantitative analytic design with a cross-sectional approach involving 103 respondents selected using simple random sampling. Data were collected through structured questionnaires, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis with the Chi-square test. The results showed that human resources had a significant relationship with the effectiveness of SIMGOS utilization (p = 0.001), indicating that users with better competence, experience, and understanding of the system tended to utilize SIMGOS more effectively. Management support also demonstrated a significant relationship with SIMGOS effectiveness (p = 0.001), reflecting the importance of organizational support, supervision, and training in ensuring optimal system implementation. However, system design did not show a significant relationship with SIMGOS effectiveness (p = 0.384), suggesting that users were still able to adapt to technical limitations within the system. The study concludes that the effectiveness of SIMGOS utilization is more strongly associated with human and organizational factors than with technological factors alone. Strengthening human resource capacity and improving management support are therefore essential strategies to enhance hospital information system utilization.

Home Pharmacy Care (HPC) is a comprehensive, home-based pharmacy service designed to improve adherence, education, and monitoring for patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) in order to achieve optimal clinical outcomes and a better quality of life. This study aims to evaluate the impact of implementing Home Pharmacy Care on clinical outcomes (such as HbA1c levels, blood pressure, and lipid profiles) as well as the quality of life of T2DM patients. The study used a quasi-experimental design with intervention and control groups, involving 60 patients at Mitra Siaga Hospital, Tegal Regency, Central Java. Clinical outcome and quality of life data were collected before and after the intervention using standardized instruments (WHOQOL-BREF for quality of life). The results of the study showed that the intervention group experienced significant improvements in all parameters compared to the control group (p < 0.05). In the intervention group, there was a mean decrease in HbA1c levels of -1.5% (p = 0.000), a decrease in systolic blood pressure of -14 mmHg (p = 0.001), and improvements in lipid profile characterized by a reduction in total cholesterol of -23 mg/dL (p = 0.002) and LDL by -17 mg/dL (p = 0.003). Additionally, the intervention group’s quality of life score showed a significant overall increase of +11.6 points (p = 0.001), particularly in the dimensions of physical health and social relationships. These findings suggest that Home Pharmacy Care has the potential to be an effective strategy for the sustainable management of T2DM patients.

Dysphonia, hypophonia, and decreased pitch variation are common vocal deficits linked to Parkinson's disease, a progressive neurological illness. These anomalies can be used as non-invasive biomarkers to identify diseases early. Using biomedical speech data, this work attempts to optimize and assess the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm's performance for Parkinson's disease categorization. The UCI Machine Learning Repository provided the dataset, which included 195 observations with 23 biological voice variables, such as jitter, shimmer, and characteristics related to frequency. Cleaning, standardization, and dividing the dataset into 80% training and 20% testing sets were all part of the data preprocessing procedure. To find the best SVM configuration, Grid Search and k-fold cross-validation were used for hyperparameter tuning. The findings of the experiment demonstrated that the Radial Basis Function (RBF) kernel.

The growth of electric vehicle (EV) adoption has generated extensive public discussions on digital platforms, reflecting diverse perceptions of environmental benefits, economic feasibility, technological readiness, and government policies. This study aims to develop a Transformer-based Natural Language Processing (NLP) framework for classifying public sentiment toward EV adoption using textual data from social media and digital platforms. A quantitative experimental approach was applied through data collection, preprocessing, sentiment and emotion labeling, Transformer-based modeling, and performance evaluation. The dataset consisted of 5,000 public opinion texts, of which 3,785 records were retained after data cleaning and selection. Sentiment classification included three categories: positive, negative, and neutral, while emotion classification consisted of happy, trust, angry, fear, disappointed, and surprise. Model performance was evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. The results showed that positive sentiment was dominant, accounting for 43.46% of the analyzed opinions, followed by negative sentiment at 31.97% and neutral sentiment at 24.57%. Positive opinions were mainly related to environmental benefits and energy efficiency, whereas negative opinions reflected concerns about vehicle prices, charging infrastructure, charging time, and battery replacement costs. These findings indicate that Transformer-based NLP can capture contextual semantic information from large-scale public opinion data and support reliable sentiment classification. The proposed framework provides practical value for policymakers, researchers, and industry stakeholders in developing data-driven strategies to promote EV adoption and sustainable transportation.

Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury can cause pain, limited range of motion, knee instability, and impaired functional activities. ACL reconstruction should be followed by physiotherapy rehabilitation to support the recovery of knee function. This study aimed to describe the examination, physiotherapy management, and intervention outcomes in a patient with post-operative Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction (ACLR). The study used a case report design on a 20-year-old male patient with a right knee post-operative ACLR condition two months after surgery. The intervention was conducted in three sessions over three weeks at A3 Physio Center Physiotherapy Clinic, Yogyakarta. Evaluation was performed using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS), goniometer, Manual Muscle Testing (MMT), and International Knee Documentation Committee (IKDC). Physiotherapy interventions included TENS, ultrasound, massage gun, patellar mobilization, functional knee exercises, active resisted exercise using a theraband, education, and a home program. After therapy, movement pain decreased from 5/10 to 0/10, resting pain decreased from 2/10 to 0/10, and pressure pain decreased from 3/10 to 0/10. Active ROM of the right knee increased from S: 0º–0º–125º to S: 0º–0º–127º. Quadriceps and hamstring muscle strength remained at 5/5. The IKDC score increased from 58 to 88. Physiotherapy management in post-operative ACLR patients can reduce pain, increase ROM, maintain muscle strength, and improve knee functional ability.

The increasing use of essay-based examinations in higher education has created significant challenges in maintaining efficient, objective, and consistent assessment processes. Manual essay grading is time-consuming and susceptible to subjective judgment, particularly when evaluating large numbers of student responses. Therefore, this study aims to develop and evaluate an Automated Essay Scoring (AES) system based on Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) to improve the accuracy and consistency of student essay assessment. This research employed an experimental quantitative approach using 2,500 student essay responses, of which 2,340 valid responses were retained after preprocessing and data cleaning. The dataset was divided into training, validation, and testing subsets using a 70:15:15 ratio. The proposed model was fine-tuned using the AdamW optimizer with a learning rate of 2 × 10⁻⁵, a batch size of 16, and 8 training epochs. Model performance was evaluated using Quadratic Weighted Kappa (QWK), Mean Absolute Error (MAE), and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed BERT model achieved a QWK score of 0.872, indicating strong agreement with human evaluators, while obtaining an MAE of 0.418 and an RMSE of 0.593, reflecting relatively low prediction errors. Comparative evaluation also showed that the proposed BERT model outperformed conventional baseline approaches in automated essay scoring, confirming the effectiveness of contextual language representations for understanding semantic information in student essays. These findings indicate that the proposed framework provides a reliable and efficient solution for automated essay assessment, offering practical benefits for improving scoring consistency, reducing lecturers' workload, and supporting the implementation of intelligent assessment systems in higher education.

The prevalence of diabetic foot ulcers is currently quite high worldwide, with 6.3% of diabetic patients experiencing them. In Southeast Asia, the prevalence of diabetic foot ulcers reaches 5.5% of the total number of diabetes mellitus sufferers. Sudden changes in the condition can cause diabetic foot ulcer sufferers to exhibit several negative psychological reactions, such as anger, feelings of worthlessness, increased anxiety, and stress. Find out if lavender aromatherapy helps patients with diabetic foot ulcers at the Kitamura Clinic in Pontianak feel less anxious. The study's participants were divided into two groups: an intervention group and a control group, using a pre-experimental design. Over the course of six months, all 77 patients with diabetes mellitus and foot ulcers.Results: Because the data were not normally distributed, a bivariate analysis was performed in SPSS using the Wilcoxon test. Lavender aromatherapy affected anxiety levels in patients with diabetic foot ulcers, as evidenced by the intervention group's p-value of 0.000 (< 0.05), which demonstrated a significant difference between pre- and post-intervention assessments. On the other hand, the group that received H2O aromatherapy had a p-value of 0.158 (> 0.05), indicating no significant change between pre- and post-intervention assessments and that H2O aromatherapy did not affect anxiety levels in patients with diabetic foot ulcers. Patients who received lavender aromatherapy saw a higher and statistically significant decrease in anxiety levels after the intervention as compared to the control group. These results validate lavender aromatherapy's efficacy as a supplemental intervention for lowering anxiety in diabetic foot ulcer patients.

Anxiety is an emotional response that often occurs in patients who are about to undergo a procedure or surgery. Pre-operative anxiety not only impacts the patient's psychology, but also affects the patient's physiological condition. Non-pharmacological therapy is a safer option in handling pre-operative anxiety, one of the interventions that can be given is Spiritual Emotional Freedom Techniques (SEFT). The aim of the study is to identify and gain a better understanding of the benefits of implementing the Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) intervention in overcoming pre-operative anxiety. This article's research method used a literature review study method. Articles were searched from several databases including Science Direct, PubMed, and Google Scholar. This study used inclusion criteria such as the research focus on Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (Seft), and articles from the last 5 years, from 2022 to 2026. Exclusion criteria were articles published before 2022, duplicate articles, and incomplete articles. The results of seven articles reviewed consistently show that the SEFT intervention is beneficial in reducing preoperative anxiety in patients through a combination of spiritual affirmations, self-acceptance, relaxation, and tapping on specific points on the body. This can improve psychological readiness, reduce emotional tension, and support patient readiness for preoperative procedures. The conclusion, intervention of SEFT may be beneficial for various patients experiencing anxiety, especially patients who are about to undergo surgery.

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease whose prevalence continues to increase, making it one of the major challenges in primary health care. At the Manisa Public Health Center, Sidenreng Rappang Regency, the number of diabetes mellitus cases increased from 310 in 2023 to 943 in 2025. This increase has intensified the workload of the public health center, highlighting the need to improve the quality of health services to ensure sustainable diabetes management. This study aimed to analyze the effect of health service quality, including service facilities and infrastructure, service mechanisms, and recording and reporting systems, on diabetes mellitus management, which was assessed through regular health check-ups, treatment adherence, and blood glucose monitoring among outpatients at the Manisa Public Health Center. This quantitative analytical study employed a cross-sectional design because it enabled the simultaneous measurement of the independent and dependent variables to examine their relationship. A total of 90 respondents were selected using simple random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed that health service quality had a positive and significant effect on diabetes mellitus management (p = 0.005). Therefore, improving the quality of health services is essential to support optimal and sustainable diabetes mellitus management in primary health care.
