<![CDATA[The phenomenon of unregistered marriage raises pros and cons in a multicultural society. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with framing analysis by Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki. Identifying through the four structures of syntax, script, thematic, and rhetorical. The final step is examined from the perspective of Islamic journalism. This research aims to determine the construction of news in the online media Kompas.com and Republika.co.id. Next, it is analyzed using an Islamic journalism perspective. The object of the research is 6 news stories about serial marriages in the period March-November 2022. This is to see the differences in media construction in framing news. The results of this research are as follows: first, in the construction aspect Kompas.com and Republika.co.id as a whole both convey information about unregistered marriages which should be avoided by the public. Second, differences in media construction are influenced by respective ideologies. Kompas.com, which has nationalist characteristics, has widely reported on the negative impacts of unregistered marriages. Republika.co.id, which has an Islamic ideology, raised the news with a religious approach. On aspects of Islamic journalism, Kompas.com has not fully implemented the values of the concept of Islamic journalism. Meanwhile, Republika.co.id as a whole has prioritized Islamic concepts over news construction.]]>

<![CDATA[By providing digitalization knowledge and training to residents in Tebing Village, Tuik Village, and PKBM Bina Bangsa Learning Residents, it is hoped that they will be able to overcome obstacles and problems in the village development process. The method used is PAR (Participatory Action Research), its implementation is carried out by analyzing several stages, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. The results of the implementation of this activity showed that before the implementation of the activity, residents in Tebing Village, Tuik Village and PKBM Bina Bangsa Learning Community did not understand digitalization. However, after the implementation of the activity carried out by residents showed the increasing knowledge and competence in computer operation, especially as proven through post-test results. It is hoped that this research can provide information as a basis for consideration, support, and contribution of thought to decision makers in increasing digital-based competencies in order to improve public services to the community.]]>

<![CDATA[Happy Tree Friends is one of cartoon series was created by America. This film is a comedy genre, which is deliberately made for children with funny and interesting characters. This film has been watched by hundreds of thousands of viewers both on television and on YouTube. However, this cartoon film with cute characters is not suitable to be shown to children because it visualizes very tragic scenes of violence and death. So, the aim of this research is to find out the frequency and tendency of violent scenes shown in the cartoon film Happy Tree Friends. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The method used is content analysis. The results of the research after conducting reliability tests based on predetermined categorization stated that 99% of the Happy Tree Friends cartoon films contained scenes of physical violence.]]>

<![CDATA[The aim of this paper is to examine how the implementation of interpersonal communication by guidance and counseling teachers in dealing with the problems of students who experience problems of low self-esteem. The research used was descriptive qualitative by digging up information from two MTs Al-Islam Kemuja counseling guidance teachers. Data collection using interviews and observations. The results showed that counseling guidance teachers apply interpersonal communication to as an effort to deal with students' self-esteem problems. The interpersonal communication applied, by covering aspects. Openness, in this case the counseling guidance teacher applies open communication and certain strategies so that students can also open themselves to their problems for the smooth process of counseling guidance. Empathy, by showing verbal and nonverbal communication that shows the counseling guidance teacher understands the problems experienced by students. Support, providing advice and advice to problematic students. Positive feeling, giving positive messages such as motivating to be better. Equality, applying all students equally and sharing experiences if there are the same problem conditions as those experienced by counseling guidance teachers.]]>

<![CDATA[The phenomenon of street children who often dress up as punks has begun to color the scenery in several district capitals in Bangka Belitung Province. Their activities have also begun to disturb the community and disturb public order. This study examines the government's response and its efforts to overcome the phenomenon of street children. The research method uses a qualitative approach, data collection is done by observation, interviews and documentation. The results show that most of the street children who are active on the streets of the cities in Bangka Belitung Province come from outside the Bangka Belitung. The government has made various efforts to overcome this problem, but the results have not been maximized. This research concludes that the government's response to street children is still preventive.]]>

<![CDATA[Citizen Journalism is a journalistic activity that is no longer foreign in today's digital era. Becoming a citizen who is able to write news by prioritizing journalistic code of ethics and compliance with the code of ethics itself is not an easy thing to do, especially if the citizen does not have a background in communication science or journalism education. However, in reality there is still a lot of news content displayed by the mass media that comes purely from citizen writings, without going through the editing process. This seems to be considered trivial by certain media owners because the media gatekeeper function does not work and does not cross-check the citizen's writings, resulting in a lot of hoax news or misleading information. Through a qualitative descriptive literature review approach, this study aims to compare citizen journalism activities in mass media in Indonesia and South Korea. The focus of this study lies in the practice of citizen journalism in Kompasiana and Ohmynews. The results of this study found that hoax news was still found in Kompasiana written by citizens. Kompasiana does not carry out its gatekeeper function properly. The writings that appear in Kompasiana are entirely the responsibility of the author himself. This means that Kompasiana is not responsible for the content that is published. This of course causes the credibility of the media to decline. This is very different from the online media Ohmynews, a media from South Korea. Overall, the content in Ohmynews comes purely from the writings of its citizens. However, it is not easy for the media to publish it. Citizens must pass several strict selections required by Ohmynews. One of them is that they must follow the Ethic Code and Citizen Reporter Agreement so that their writings are published in the media. So it can be ascertained that the impact is to reduce hoax news and increase the credibility of the media. Therefore, the indicator of the achievement of the success of a mass media that carries out its educational function can be observed through the compliance of professional journalists and citizen journalists who prioritize the principles of the journalistic code of ethics.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the communication methods of PUSBAKUM Silampari in the Lubuklinggau District Court and identify its contribution to child protection efforts. The background of this research is based on the complexity of child protection cases that require an effective and sensitive communicative approach. The research method is descriptive with a focus on the description of the communication method of PUSBAKUM Silampari and the evaluation of its effectiveness. The literature review outlines the principles of child protection and the role of PUSBAKUM Silampari in the context of the judicial system. This study involves a population of child protection cases handled by the Lubuklinggau District Court, with a sample of cases involving the communication method of PUSBAKUM Silampari. The data collection method involves interviews with related parties, document analysis, and direct observation of the communication process of PUSBAKUM Silampari. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively to understand the characteristics of communication methods and their effectiveness in the context of child protection. The results of the study show that the communication method of PUSBAKUM Silampari has special characteristics that support the achievement of child protection goals. The success of this method is reflected in the increase in understanding and cooperation between parties involved in the judicial process. The implications of this study include recommendations for strengthening training and the development of similar communication methods in other courts. Thus, this research makes an important contribution to our understanding of the role of communication in the context of child protection in the Lubuklinggau District Court. Its practical implications could guide improvements in judicial policies and practices that focus on the welfare of children involved in the justice system.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to analyze the implementation of da'wah journalism in political opinions published in the January to September 2023 edition of nu.or.id. This research method was descriptive qualitative with analysis of Theo Van Leeuwen's critical discourse analysis theory, with a focus on the linguistic and semiotic strategies used in political opinion texts. There were five political opinion articles analyzed. The result, namely the implementation of da'wah journalism on political opinions on the nu.or.id website from January to September 2023, has been reflected in various linguistic and semiotic strategies.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis komunikasi interpersonal yang dilakukan oleh kepala desa Piji, Kecamatan Dawe, Kabupaten Kudus, dalam menjaga moralitas masyarakat. Moralitas menjadi hal yang penting untuk diperhatikan ditengah arus modernisasi yang sering kali mengikis nilai-nilai lokal. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal Kepala Desa melibatkan pendekatan persuasive, dialogis, dan partisipatif melalui forum masyarakat, kunjungan rumah, dan penggunaan media tradisional. Temuan ini mengungkapkan bahwa hubungan erat antar kepala desa dengan warganya menjadi kunci dalam menciptakan pengaruh positif terhadap perilaku masyarakat. penelitian ini menjadi manfaat dalam memperkaya wawasan tentang strategi komunikasi pemimpin lokal untuk menjaga nilai-nilai moral di komunitas desa, sehingga relevan untuk diterapkan di berbagai daerah lain dengan karakteristik serupa.
