Abstract

Abstract This research was conducted to develop a Think Talk Write-based worksheet for writing biographical text. The researcher used the ADDIE development model as a guide in the implementation of development. To obtain the data for this study, the researcher used assessment instruments, namely validation questionnaire of a material expert, a linguist, a design expert, a student response questionnaire, and a learning outcome test. Data analysis was obtained by collecting quantitative and qualitative data from validators and students. The results of this study are that the value of the results of validation, trial and learning outcomes is found. Material expert validation in revision I reached 86.2% and in revision II reached 97.5%, linguist validation in revision I reached 82.1% and in revision II reached 100%, and design expert validation in revision I reached 75% and in revision II reached 100%, with very feasible criteria. Student responses to individual trials reached 98% and field trials reached 97%, with very practical criteria. Student learning outcomes in individual trials reached 100% and field trials reached 83.3%, with the criteria of Very Effective. The results of this study can be concluded, that is, that the development of Indonesian language worksheets for the 9th Grade Students of the SMA based on Think Talk Write is very feasible, very practical, and very effective to use in the Indonesian language learning process. Researchers suggest: 1) LKPD can be used by students and teachers in any school, 2) for teachers, it can be a reference in developing other creative teaching materials. Abstract

This study aims to improve students' ability to determine the intrinsic elements of short stories using the Think Pair Share Learning Model in class XI-IIS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Gido. The implementation procedure: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research results obtained were: (1) students' ability to determine the intrinsic elements of short stories in cycle I, namely the lowest score was 60 and the highest score was 80 with an average score of 69.5 while cycle II obtained the lowest score 75 and the highest score 90 with an average score 80.7; (2) student activity in the first cycle of the first meeting of students who were active 40.7%, and the second meeting of active students 59.1% while in the second cycle the first meeting of active students was 69.4% and the second meeting of active students 88.5 %; (3) the activity of researchers in the first cycle of the first meeting was 47.05% and the second meeting was 68.05% while in the second cycle the first meeting was 79% and the second meeting was 95%. From these data it can be concluded that by applying the think pair share cooperative learning model it can improve students' abilities in determining the intrinsic elements of short stories

Abstract

Novel is one of the literary works written by the author based on himself or other people's experiences. Novels are liked by many people because there are moral values ​​that are useful for everyday life. These moral values ​​relate to character education which has always been considered important for social life. Character education is often considered trivial because the delivery is not as clear as the delivery of formal education. In the novel "Love For Show" by Andi Eriawan contains many character education values ​​that can change the behavior of the reader for the better. This study aims to describe the values ​​of character education in the novel "Love For Show" by Andi Eriawan. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The object of research is the novel "Love For Show" by Andi Eriawan. The data collection technique is by searching for data in the form of novels, the second stage is reading carefully every line of the novel, the third stage is collecting data by searching for and marking passages that contain character values, the fourth stage is coding the novel fragments that contain character values , the fifth stage of classifying and describing the novel's character values, the sixth stage by concluding the results of the analysis of the character values ​​in the novel. Data analysis was carried out by researchers, namely content analysis. Drawing conclusions using deductive and inductive. The results of this study indicate eight character education values ​​contained in the novel "Love For Show" by Andi Eriawan, namely (1) religious values, (2) honest values, (3) hard work values, (4) creative values, ( 5) the value of friendship, (6) the value of loving peace, (7) the value of liking to read, and (8) responsibility.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' ability to write poetry by using the discovery learning model. The subjects of this study were 22 students of class X ATPH at SMK Negeri 2 Botomuzoi even semester. This study uses the Classroom Action Research model with the implementation procedures namely Planning, Action, Observation, Reflection. Based on the results of the study, there was an increase in students' abilities, seen in the assessment of the first cycle, the lowest score was 60 and the highest was 80 with an average value of 67.95. While the second cycle obtained the lowest value of 75 and the highest 95 with an average value of 84.77. The results of the first cycle of researchers at the first meeting were 57.14% and the second meeting was 64.28%. While cycle II the first meeting was 71.42% and the second meeting was 100%. While the results of observations of researchers in the first cycle of the first meeting were 46.75% and the second meeting were 48.05%. It can be concluded that the discovery learning model can improve the ability of class X students at SMK Negeri 2 Botomuzoi

Abstract

The problem with the learning process at SMP Negeri 1 Sitolu Ori is the lack of variety of learning media used so that many students are unable to learn independently without the presence of a teacher. This study aims to develop appropriate, practical and effective Indonesian language comic media. This type of research is development research using a 4-D model consisting of define, design, develop, disseminate. The instruments used to determine the feasibility of comic media were validation questionnaires for material, language, and design experts, as well as student responses and effectiveness questionnaires. The results of this study are in the form of comic media on the material of examining the structure and language of fables. The assessment of material experts reached 91.25%, linguists reached 92.84%, design experts reached 92.18% with very practical criteria. The results of the assessment on the response questionnaire of individual trial students were carried out in class VII SMP Negeri 1 Sitolu Ori with a total of 3 people obtaining 88.09% in the very practical category. Then it was continued with a small group trial of 5 people obtaining 91.42% in the very practical category. After the small group trials continued with field trials, which were attended by 20 students, the results of the questionnaire obtained a score of 91.07% in the very practical category. Assessment of student learning outcomes tests obtained a percentage of classical completeness in individual trials achieving an effectiveness score of 88%, small group trials achieving a score of 82% with effective criteria, and field trials achieving an effectiveness score of 80.75% with effective criteria. It can be concluded that: comic media is feasible, practical, and effective to use so that it meets the expectations or objectives of the researcher.

Abstract

Literary work is an expression of personal human feelings in the form of experiences, thoughts, feelings, ideas, enthusiasm, beliefs in the form of images of human life and the imagination of the author. One form of literary work is the novel "Promise of Friends" by Risna Utami. The researcher aims to analyze the religious values in the novel. The type of research used in this research is a type of qualitative research with a pragmatic approach. Analyzing the text in the novel "Promise of Friends" by Risna Utami, namely in the form of sentences, paragraphs and excerpts from dialogues of the characters in each paragraph which contain religious values. To complete the references in this study, the researchers carried out research at the Nias University library. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that Risna Utami's "Promise of Friends" novel contains religious values consisting of human relations with God, human relations with humans and human relations with nature which indirectly can be used as guidelines in daily life. -day. The researcher's suggestion is that the religious values contained in the novel "Promise of Friends" by Risna Utami can be applied and used as a guide in interacting life

Abstract

ABSTRACT Based on the results of observations made by researchers at SMK 2 Alasa, especially in class X Accounting, the researchers obtained data that there were still many students who were unable to analyze the building blocks of poetry. The purpose of this research is to improve the ability to analyze to build poetry using the generative learning model. This class action research activity was carried out in two cycles using data collection techniques, observation sheets and assessment sheets. The subjects of this research were class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Alasa, totalling 20 students with 8 males and 12 females, in the semester even. The results showed that the average value in cycle I was 60, the highest value, the lowest value was 40. While in cycle II with an average value of 80, the highest value was 90, the lowest value was 75. The results of observing student activities in cycle I with an averagean average of 65% while in the second cycle with an average of 91%. The results of observing the performance of researchers in the first cycle with an average of 56.25% while in the second cycle is 87.5%. Based on the results of the researchers, the researchers concluded that using a generative learning model could improve the ability to analyze students’ poetry builders in class X SMK Negeri 2 Alasa in the 2022/2023 academic year. Suggestions from these results, the researcher suggests: 1) it is hoped that students will be able to increase their interest in conveying poetry. 2) for techers of SMK Negeri 2 Alasa, research can be an additional reference for learning models and material for the knowledge of field teacher’s efforts to improve the skills of SMK Negeri 2 Alasa students.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that students are less able to analyze language in biographical texts. Therefore, researchers apply the Jigsaw learning model to overcome this problem. The purpose of this lesson is to improve students' ability to analyze language in biographical texts using the Jigsaw model. The subjects of this study were the tenth grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli, totaling 24 people, 14 boys and 10 girls. This research uses classroom action assessment (PTK) with the implementation procedures are planning, action, observation and reflection. From the results of the study, the values obtained in cycle I with the lowest value were 30 and the highest value was 90 with an average value of 62.08% and in cycle II the lowest value was 60 and the highest value was 95 with an average value of 86.45%. The results of observations of students in the first cycle of the first meeting with an average value of 62.17% and the second meeting 70.19% and the second cycle of the first meeting with an average value of 84.73% and the second meeting 91.34%. The results of observations of researchers in cycle I first meeting with an average value of 61.54% and the second meeting 69.23% and in cycle II the first meeting with an average value of 83.33% and the second meeting 92.30%. Based on this research, it can be concluded that using the Jigsaw learning model can improve the ability to analyze aspects of linguistic meaning in biographical texts in class X SMK Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli 2022/2023 Academic Year.

Abstract

The study aims to describe the type and the factor behind code switching and code mixing to a story in the Webtoon application titled “Day by Bae” by HAAI from episode 1—23. The data being researched is a character dialogue in the story that contains the code switching and the code mixing. The study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The documentation method aided by note technique and data card used as data collection. Classifying all the data acquired by the type and the factor in the cause is the data analysis technique in this study. The data analysis results are explained with a descriptive using informal techniques. The form of code switching and code mixing that found in the “Day by Bae” story amounts to 164 data. The speaker, the person with whom you speak, the presence of a third person, the change from informal to formal, and the changed topic of conversation are factors that have caused the code switching. On the contrary, the speaker and the speaker’s personality, used popular terms, and being just prestigious are some of the factors behind the code mixing.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether there was an effect of the cooperativescript model on the ability to listen to news texts for Grade VIII students of Hoya Sejahtera Private Middle School. The type of data used in this study is quantitative data in the form of primary data, namely data collected by researchers in the form of student learning outcomes tests which are carried out before carrying out learning activities called the initial test (pretest) and the final test (post test) which is carried out after the learning process is carried out. Based on the results obtained and the analysis of the research data and the hypothesis testing, conclusions can be drawn. First, the average learning achievement of Indonesian using the cooperative script learning model for class VIII students of Hoya Sejahtera Private Middle School in the 2019/2020 academic year is 87.6, including at a good level of ability. Second, the average student learning outcomes in the Indonesian language subject using conventional learning at Hoya Sejahtera Private Middle School is 67.31, which is included at the moderate level of ability. And third, the results of the hypothesis test turned out to be tcount > ttable or 7.682> 2.660, so it can be concluded that there is a significant effect on the cooperative script learning model on the ability to listen to news texts for class VIII students of Hoya Sejahtera Private Middle School.
