Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan untuk menganalisis kesalahan ejaan yang terdapat dalam surat dinas (surat masuk dan surat keluar) SMP Katolik Kuala Dua. Selain itu, penelitian ini diharapkan mampu membantu mengatasi kekeliruan dan kesalahan ejaan yang terdapat dalam surat dinas SMP Katolik Kuala Dua. Objek penelitian berupa surat keluar dan surat masuk SMP Katolik Kuala Dua  dari bulan Agustus 2022 hingga April 2023. Metode penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan simpulan. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini berupa dokumentasi resmi. Penyajian data penelitian ini menggunakan uraian deskriptif dengan fokus utama adalah mendeskripsikan kesalahan ejaan yang terdapat dalam surat yang dianalisis. Dari hasil analisis ditemukan kesalahaan ejaan berupa lima kesalahaan penggunaan huruf kapital, dua kesalahan penggunaan huruf tebal, tiga kesalahaan penggunaan kata baku, empat kesalahan penggunaan tanda baca yang terdapat dalam surat masuk dan surat keluar dan tiga kesalahan penggunaan diksi yang terdapat dalam surat keluar maupun surat masuk, serta ditemukan pula kesalahan error pada data 6,7,9, 10 dan kesalahan mistake pada data 1,2,3 dan 4.  Kata kunci: Kesalahan Ejaan, Surat Dinas, Surat masuk dan Surat Keluar.

Abstract

This study was made to determine for sure whether the 3M technique (observing, imitating and adding) is the right technique to be used in improving the ability to write drama texts in grade VIII students of UPT SMP Negeri 37 Medan. The type of data used in this study is quantitative primary data, namely data obtained from the field where the research was conducted. The data used in this study was obtained based on the results of post-test tests on both samples, namely the control class and the experimental class, where the experimental class was given learning to write drama texts with 3M techniques, while the control class was given conventional learning techniques. After testing and data analysis, conclusions can be drawn. First, the average score in the experimental class was 76.05 which was included in the good category. Secondly, the average score in the control class was 47.09 which falls into the category of very less. Third, the results of the hypothesis test, it turned out that the t_0 obtained was greater than t_tabel namely, 14.55 > 1.69, so that H_0 was rejected, and the hypothesis  accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the 3M technique is indeed effective in improving students' ability to write drama texts.

Abstract

The study of critical discourse is always interesting to be studied in more depth. All forms of media coverage and public arguments make critical discourse analysis research grow. The purpose of this study is to find out the forms of rationalization of the comments of supporters and opponents, views / knowledge that are used as the basis of rationalization, and communities that are made objects of rationalists related to proposals from Yasonna Laoly by using Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis method. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research. The data source used was news from Kumparan, Kompascom, BBCIndonesia, CNNIndonesia, TirtoID, Detikcom, and 20 data accounts in the form of accounts from the Indonesian people regarding Yasonna Laoly's statement of wanting to release corrupt prisoners in the midst of the Corona outbreak. The results showed that the people who commented supporting Yasonna Laoly's statement stated that the plan was the right plan. They argue that the government's decision is a wise decision because it can help corrupt prisoners over the age of 60 get a decent life. People who oppose Yasonna Laoly's statement believe that the plan is a form of injustice from the government which only wants to release the prisoners of corruption and not care about other prisoners.

Abstract

Language is a means of communication that is always used by humans in everyday life. Spoken language is closely related to situations, conditions, time and expressions of a person in speaking. The ability to speak is equally important in society. One of the speaking activities is to become a volleyball commentator. This research method is a qualitative research using a descriptive method. Descriptive research method is a type of research in which there is a factual description in exploring a phenomenon or event in the field. The data in this study are the style of language used by volleyball commentators as the subject of discussion. Based on research findings and discussion it can be concluded that. (1) The style of language used by the commentators for the Agung Wilis Cup volleyball tournament in Kabat District, Banyuwangi Regency has 3 different styles of language, namely repetition, metaphor and personification but with almost the same meaning but different meanings. (2) The style of language used by volleyball commentators at the Agung Wilis Cup volleyball tournament in Kabat District, Banyuwangi Regency. The language used in the ongoing volleyball match has a figurative meaning or has characteristics in the commentator's pronunciation, which can be in the form of enthusiasm or ridicule of volleyball players.

Abstract

This study aims to describe language acquisition in children aged 3 years, the subject of this research is Evelyn Nasha Aprilia Putri, 3 years old, who is placed in Turtle Daycare. Specifically covering the phonological and morphological levels. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection was carried out using natural observation techniques, free-lance viewing, listening and daily notes. The results of this study indicate that the language acquisition of children aged 3 years is at the level of phonology and morphology. From a phonological point of view, the subject has mastered most of the consonant phonemes. But there are also phonemes that cannot be pronounced perfectly, 3-year-old children mostly omit or replace phonemes that should be there. This can be said to be reasonable, because at the age of 3 years the child's articulation tools and language mastery do not yet have. From a morphological point of view, the subject has mastered the word forms he has obtained, and the more words he says, and the arrangement of sentences is regular and longer, he can use three or more words, monomorphemic words are clear, morphemes can be seen that differentiate the meaning of words, there are free morphemes, bound morpheme, and affixation

Abstract

This research is motivated by the researcher's interest and desire to know more about the personality of the main character in the novel Pengantara by Kaksubak which consists of five characters, namely Mahendra Ajie Permana, Jiran Syahidin Putra, Ihsan Saepul Hidayat, Rasya Julianto, and Karel Aloysius Ginting. The purpose of this study was to describe (1) the personality of the main character in the novel Pengantara by Kaksubak, (2) the factors that influence the personality of the main character in the novel Pengantara by Kaksubak. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data source is the novel Pengantara by Kaksubak. The data collected is in the form of words or quotations. The results of this study are (1) the personality of the main character in the novel Pengantara consists of two types of personality, namely healthy personality (Metaneeds) and unhealthy (Metapological). The healthy personality (Metaneeds) shown by Kaksubak in his novel are the characteristics of trust, wise and kind, beautiful, energetic and optimistic, complete, fair and altruistic, brave, simple, and full of meaning. Meanwhile, the unhealthy personality (metapological) shown by Kaksubak in his novel includes distrust, cynical and skeptical, hateful and disgusting, vulgar and numb, loss of enthusiasm for life, passivity and pessimism, chaos and unpredictability, likes angry, unfair, and selfish, insecure and need help, very complex and confused, irresponsible, don't know the meaning of life, lose hope, and despair. (2) the factors that influence the main character's personality in the novel Pengantara by Kaksubak consist of two factors, namely internal and external factors. Factors that greatly influence the personality of the five characters are external factors that come from the family and school environment.

Abstract

The study aims to describe (1) the educational value of Putri’s science and science novels azzhara haryanto, (2) the benefits of educational value in the science and social science novels by Putri Azzhara Hartanto. This study uses a literary sociological approach. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data sources are IPA and IPS novels by Putri Azzhara Haryanto. The results of this study are (1) the results of this study are (1) the educational value of Putri Azzhara Haryanto’s scince and social sciences novels consists of physical education values, spritual education values, religious education values, moral education values, beauty education values (2) the educational value benefits of the science and social science novels by Putri Azzhara Haryanto consist of the educational values of skills, religion, decency, beauty and society.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of vocal and consonant acquisition in children aged 3 years in the case study of Muhammad Kaivan Arasyid. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The theory used in this research is Darjowidjojo's theory (2012). The source of the data in this study was Kaivan's conversations of 3-year-old children at PAUD al-Anwar, where conversations were taken from parents, relatives, friends and teachers at school in the form of sentences that Kaivan often utters in everyday life. The results of the study concluded that the acquisition of the kaivan language obtained from the results of the study, that kaivan had acquired the vowel sounds (a), (i), (u), (e) and (0) clearly at the beginning, in the middle and at the end. kaivan has also acquired consonant sounds consisting of (b), (c), (d), (g), (h), (j), (k), (l), (m), (n), (p ), (s), (t), (w) and (y). there are several consonants that are difficult for kaivan to produce, namely consonants (f), (v), and (z) because when he reaches 3 years old, kaivan experiences loss of air which is still free due to the fact that his lower teeth are not perfectly attached to his upper lip. Meanwhile, the consonant (r) never appears at the beginning, in the middle or at the end, but removes and replaces the consonant (r) with (l). example: (walna) means (color)

Abstract

The problem with the learning process at SMA Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli is the lack of variation in the worksheets used so that students are less responsive and less motivated. This type of research is development research using the 4D model which consists of 4 stages, namely the definition stage, the design stage, the development stage, and the deployment stage. The results of this study are Inquiry-based Indonesian worksheets on material analyzing the meaning and language of biographical texts. Material expert assessment of revision I reached 78.7%, revision II reached 82.2%, linguist revision I reached 71.4%, revision II reached 82.1%, design expert revision I reached 78.3%, revision II reached 88.3% with very decent criteria. Based on the assessment of 86% individual trials, 90% small group trials and 93.8% field trials with very practical criteria. Assessment of student learning outcomes tests obtained a percentage of classical completeness in 100% individual trials, 100% small group trials and 83% field trials with very effective categories.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran e-handout terhadap efektifitas pembelajaran menelaah teks negosiasi di Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Media pembelajaran pada penelitian ini menggunakan model desain ADDIE (Analisys, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Research and Developmetn (R & D). Data diperoleh melalui angket (validasi ahli desain, validasi ahli materi, validasi ahli bahasa, angket efektifitas), dokumen dan tes. Analisis data sebagai dasar untuk mengembangkan media interaktif dengan menggunakan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) Validasi ahli desain menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dihasilkan menunjukkan 85.00% terkategorikan valid, (2) Validasi ahli materi menunjukkan 90.00% terkategorikan sangat valid, (3) Validasi ahli Bahasa 85% dengan kategori sangat valid dan rata-rata efektifitas belajar siswa dalam memahami teks negosiasi diperoleh 89.00%  terkategorikan sangat efektif. Dengan demikian berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran pengembangan media pembelajaran e-handout kepada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Afulu telah memenuhi syarat, layak dan sangat efektif untuk digunakan.
