Abstract

In various churches in Indonesia, there are still not too many intergenerational patterns of ministry. This is because in the church system the relationship between generations is not very strong. There are several generations that have always dominated in it and caused other generations to not be actively involved in the church. The process also takes place within the leadership of the church. Leadership in the church in Indonesia has always placed their position as servitude leadership. This is seen from the concept of understanding that church leaders are servants of God. This servitude leadership is also often seen as leadership that is done with the dominant thing so that the ministry cannot run effectively. Therefore, friendly leadership is needed in answering the problems that occur.

Abstract

The development of entrepreneurship based on Alkitabian values has become increasingly crucial amidst modern society plagued by social inequality and economic instability. This article aims to investigate the contribution of Alkitabian entrepreneurship as a solution to these issues. Highlighting the decline in poverty rates but the widening economic disparity in Indonesia, this research demonstrates that micro and small enterprises grounded in Alkitabian values can rectify social disparities and advance well-being. A qualitative research method with a literature review approach is employed to gain a profound understanding of the implementation of Alkitabian values in entrepreneurship and their impact on business sustainability and society. The research findings indicate that Alkitabian entrepreneurs, guided by values such as honesty and justice, are capable of creating a business environment that is fair, inclusive, and sustainable. Furthermore, social responsibility is integral to this business model, with a focus on community empowerment and positive contributions to society. This study details how Alkitabian values can serve as a foundation for building entrepreneurial solutions that positively impact collective well-being in the complex economic context. Abstract

Entrepreneurship is considered a key component in global economic development, playing a central role in shaping and driving economic dynamics. Entrepreneurs strengthen global economic growth by creating business opportunities, developing innovations, and generating employment, both in formal and informal business sectors. The engagement of entrepreneurs in facing global challenges demonstrates their adaptability and ability to explore and capitalize on new opportunities. Entrepreneurship development not only affects economic aspects but also significantly impacts the church and the Christian world. The concept of Christian Entrepreneurship, associated with the teachings of Apostle Paul, presents new opportunities and challenges for the church. Paul is regarded as a pioneer who introduced the concept of Pastorpreneur, integrating spiritual activities with an entrepreneurial attitude in spreading the Gospel and building Christian communities. This research utilizes a qualitative descriptive method through literature review to explore the entrepreneurship concept in the Acts of the Apostles. The findings show that entrepreneurship principles have a significant impact on shaping the character and approach of missionaries and Christian ministers. They are inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit to be adaptive and responsive to changes, creating a foundation for relevant and effective ministry.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to present and develop a responsive pastor leadership model amid the current hustle culture phenomenon, namely by offering a situational leadership model. This is based on the reality of pastor leadership that is identical to the application of an operational leadership model that is oriented towards monitoring the quantity of congregational attendance at services every week. This reality initiated the author's concern to construct a pastor's leadership model from operational to situational, especially when faced with the current hustle culture phenomenon. Through qualitative research methods and literature study approaches, this paper finds that pastors as leaders of God's people must be able to set aside authoritative leadership attitudes or systems. By realizing a situational leadership model that is able to dialogue the situation of the congregation filled with the complexity of daily life with the degradation of congregational attendance at church.

Abstract

Abstract Generation Z and Alpha, born in the digital era, face unique challenges in an ever-evolving technological environment. This article aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the relevant concepts, models, and strategies of Christian leadership within this digital generation's context. With a focus on Generation Z and Alpha, this research explores the impact of implementing Christian leadership in addressing the dynamics of the digital era. Through a literature review approach, this article identifies crucial stages in qualitative research, including topic identification, literature search and selection, analysis, synthesis, and interpretation of findings. The results show that the concept of Christian leadership, emphasizing spiritual service and Gospel testimony, is highly relevant in facing the challenges of this digital generation. Innovative and adaptive leadership strategies, such as utilizing digital platforms to build online communities and strengthen authentic relationships, are found effective in reaching Generation Z and Alpha. The application of Christian leadership models also provides both short-term and long-term positive impacts, including spiritual guidance, church community strengthening, and empowering young leaders. Overall, this research makes a significant theoretical and practical contribution to the development of effective and relevant Christian leadership strategies in the digital era while upholding the values and teachings of Christ. Abstract

This article examines the scandal of political leaders in Indonesia through a literature analysis and Biblical analysis method, with a specific focus on the significance of Exodus 18:21. The study aims to explore the reasons behind the recurring pattern of scandals involving political leaders in Indonesia and to provide a Biblical perspective on the issue. By analyzing the political landscape from various literatures, the main causes of these scandals will be identified, and then compared and contrasted with the principles outlined in Exodus 18:21. The findings suggest that the ethical framework provided in Exodus 18:21 can serve as a crucial guideline for political leaders in Indonesia, offering insights on effective governance, accountability, and integrity.

Abstract

Dalam menghadapi kompleksitas zaman globalisasi dan teknologi, kepemimpinan efektif di kalangan generasi muda Kristen menjadi suatu kebutuhan yang mendesak. Mentoring di dalam konteks ini memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk karakter, memberikan bimbingan, dan mendukung pertumbuhan spiritual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana mentoring dapat meningkatkan kualitas kepemimpinan pemuda Kristen dan mengidentifikasi model-model mentoring yang efektif dalam lingkungan gereja dan komunitas Kristen. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi pustaka, penelitian ini mengumpulkan dan menganalisis literatur yang relevan untuk membangun landasan teoritis yang kokoh. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa mentoring Kristen tidak hanya berfokus pada pembentukan karakter dan nilai-nilai kepemimpinan, tetapi juga mengembangkan keterampilan kepemimpinan yang holistik. Studi kasus seperti hubungan Billy Graham dengan Cliff Barrows dan Elisabeth Elliot dengan Joni Eareckson Tada mengilustrasikan bahwa mentoring yang efektif mampu menghasilkan pemimpin Kristen yang kuat secara spiritual dan profesional. Dengan memperkuat komitmen dan mengatasi tantangan dalam implementasi, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan bagi pengembangan program mentoring di gereja dan komunitas Kristen, serta membantu membekali generasi muda dengan kemampuan kepemimpinan yang berakar pada nilai-nilai Kristiani. Abstract

This article aims to respond to the hustle culture phenomenon in church life and today's society. People recognize hustle culture as an alternative to success. However, hustle culture constructs a way of working that works all the time and results in chronic fatigue, depression, and even death. The author responds to this problem by studying the text of Exodus 23:12 using the historical-grammatical interpretation method. The author finds that hustle culture is the new face of slavery in the modern era. The author offers to deconstruct the hustle culture version of the concept of success through a holistic perspective. Successful work also requires balanced attention to employee achievement and welfare. Workers and companies must limit working time to comply with the employment contract without additional work. Workers should not fight fatigue but should take time to rest and calm down. Some of these alternatives are the author's offer to address the impact of hustle culture.

Abstract

Mengelola keuangan bisnis adalah aspek krusial untuk keberhasilan dan keberlanjutan perusahaan, terutama dalam konteks global yang dinamis dan penuh ketidakpastian. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi penerapan prinsip-prinsip hikmat Alkitabiah dalam pengelolaan keuangan bisnis modern. Dengan metode kualitatif dan studi pustaka, penelitian ini menganalisis berbagai sumber untuk mengidentifikasi praktik terbaik dan tantangan dalam implementasi prinsip-prinsip tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prinsip-prinsip hikmat Alkitabiah seperti kejujuran, integritas, tanggung jawab, kemurahan hati, dan pengelolaan yang bijak dapat diterapkan secara efektif dalam pengelolaan keuangan bisnis. Penerapan prinsip-prinsip ini membantu meningkatkan stabilitas keuangan, kepercayaan pemangku kepentingan, dan kesejahteraan karyawan. Tantangan utama meliputi konflik dengan praktik bisnis konvensional, perubahan budaya perusahaan, dan resistensi dari berbagai pihak. Strategi untuk mengatasi tantangan ini termasuk pendidikan dan pelatihan, peran kepemimpinan yang kuat, perubahan dalam proses bisnis dan kebijakan perusahaan, serta pengembangan mekanisme formal untuk menangani dilema etika. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan prinsip-prinsip hikmat Alkitabiah dalam pengelolaan keuangan bisnis tidak hanya mungkin tetapi juga bermanfaat dalam menciptakan bisnis yang berkelanjutan dan beretika. Abstract

Kepemimpinan dari sudut pandang teologi Kristen, dengan penekanan pada integritas dan prinsip pelayanan berfokus pada pentingnya lima dimensi integritas pribadi, rohani, sosial, ekonomi, dan kepemimpinan dalam menjalankan tugas sebagai pemimpin Kristen. Buku ini menjelaskan bahwa kepemimpinan Kristen tidak hanya berorientasi pada efektivitas profesional, tetapi juga menghadapi berbagai tantangan etis dan moral yang harus diatasi dengan kebijaksanaan. Dengan meneladani prinsip-prinsip kepemimpinan Yesus Kristus, pemimpin diharapkan melayani dengan tulus, mendahulukan kesejahteraan orang lain, serta mempertahankan nilai-nilai moral dan spiritual di setiap tindakan kepemimpinan.
