The journal is dedicated to publishing articles concerned with research, theory, or program applications pertinent to school counseling and people who have interests in all areas of counseling and school development. The aim of this journal is to give design and support for school counselor efforts to help students focus on academic, career and social/emotional development so they achieve success in school and are prepared to lead fulfilling lives as responsible members of society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis afiksasi pada tulisan siswa Darul U-loom School Satun di Thailand, dengan fokus memahami penggunaan dan distribusi afiks dalam teks mereka. Metode penelitian ini melibatkan pengumpulan tulisan siswa sebagai data primer, kemudian dilakukan analisis afiksasi menggunakan pendekatan linguistik terkini. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa siswa menggunakan afiks dengan beragam pola, termasuk prefiks, sufiks, dan konfiks, untuk membentuk kata-kata yang sesuai dengan tata bahasa Indonesia. Statistik menonjolkan variasi afiksasi yang digunakan siswa dalam mengekspresikan ide dan makna dalam tulisan mereka. Kesalahan penggunaan afiks juga diidentifikasi dan dianalisis secara mendalam, memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik terhadap tantangan yang dihadapi siswa dalam menguasai afiksasi. Beberapa faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap kesalahan ini mencakup kurangnya pemahaman aturan afiksasi, keterampilan menulis yang masih perlu diasah, dan kurangnya bimbingan dari guru. Interpretasi mendalam terhadap hasil analisis ini dikaitkan dengan literatur terkait afiksasi dalam bahasa Indonesia. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini juga dibahas, terutama terkait dengan pengajaran bahasa Indonesia di lingkungan sekolah Darul U-loom School Satun. Temuan ini memberikan pemahaman lebih lanjut tentang proses pembelajaran siswa dalam menggunakan afiksasi dan dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk perbaikan kurikulum dan metode pengajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to study the trend of career interest in continuing lectures based on the theory of reo personality. This research is a literature article with a literature review method, which is targeted at several sources of articles, books from various selected journals that are adapted to this article. Furthermore, this research is also to find out the tendency of a person's choice of career interests to continue college can be seen based on the theory of reo. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the tendency of students' career choices tends to be environmental and family factors, which are dominated by parents, because habits that are often carried out on something from childhood can be developed into a career in the future. Furthermore, the results of this study can be used as a basis for providing guidance and counseling services that are formulated in service programs by counselors in schools and for further researchers to conduct descriptive qualitative research on the reasons and factors in career choice as well as correlation research on career selection factors with abilities. career choice

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of a sedentary lifestyle on mental health among teenagers in Sei Rotan village, Percut Sei Tuan subdistrict. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods to measure the influence of variables. Data was obtained through a Google Form questionnaire using the Accidental Sampling technique with a total of 60 respondents (aged 18-21 years) in their late teens. Data analysis includes univariate tests, bivariate analysis and bar charts. The results showed that of the total 60 respondents, there were 40 respondents who had a high sedentary lifestyle, 16 people (40.0%) experienced severe mental health disorders, then 23 people (57.5%) experienced moderate mental health disorders, and only 1 person (2.5%) experienced mental health problems. suffer from low mental health disorders. Meanwhile, of the total of 18 respondents with a moderate sedentary lifestyle, 2 people (11.1%) experienced high mental health disorders, 16 people (88.9%) experienced moderate mental health disorders, and none experienced low mental health disorders. Finally, of the 2 respondents with a low sedentary lifestyle, 2 people (100.0%) experienced low mental health disorders. It is concluded that the high incidence of mental health disorders in adolescents caused by a sedentary lifestyle can be a concern for all of us so that it does not cause more serious conditions in the future. This research not only provides insight into the relationship between a sedentary lifestyle and mental health in adolescents, but also provides a basis for practical actions and policies that can be used as a basis for local governments to formulate policies that support improving sports and recreation facilities in the village environment, so that teenagers have easier access to physical activities that can improve the welfare of teenagers in Sei Rotan Village.

Abstract

 Reflection technique is one of the tools used by counselors in understanding the characteristics and conditions of clients. In this case the reflection technique is used to help problems related to self-awareness. The level of self-awareness of each individual varies, ranging from high levels to low levels. But generally what we most often encounter are individuals with low levels of self-awareness and this can also be related to the sense of responsibility of the individual himself, thus if the level of self-awareness is low then the sense of responsibility he has is also low. For this reason, the reflection technique was chosen by the author in understanding the client's characteristics. This reflection technique is one of the counseling techniques that involves thoughts, feelings and experiences for that it will be easier for researchers to get results. If the researcher is able to understand what the client is feeling, a warm relationship will also be established between the parties involved. Clients will feel comfortable to be invited for interviews and discussions of what is going on in him now. That is the importance of the counselor and client to establish a close relationship and even friendship with one another.

Abstract

Self-diagnosis yaitu fenomena dimana seseorang mendiagnosis diri sendiri berdasarkan pengetahuannya sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi perubahan dalam keluarga yang disebabkan oleh self-diagnosis. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yaitu penelitian secara langsung ke lapangan dengan teknik wawancara langsung kepada para informan penelitian. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 4 orang yaitu remaja akhir dan orang tua remaja yang melakukan self-diagnosis. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Bagan Asahan Pekan. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis domain yang dilakukan mulai dari mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self-diagnosis menyebabkan kesulitan dalam pertukaran informasi, yang disebabkan oleh keterbatasan pembicaraan terbuka, kesulitan penyesuaian diri, dan tekenan emosional dengan remaja yang mencari dukungan dan pemahaman, sementara orang tua menanggapi dengan beragam perasaan, termasuk kebingungan atau kekhawatiran akan ketidakpastian keakuratan dari self-diagnosis. Akibatnya self-diagnosis menyebabkan ketegangan dan kesulitan dalam komunikasi antara orang tua dan remaja, yang memerlukan upaya bersama untuk meningkatkan keterbukaan dan pemahaman antar anggota keluarga. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan tentang interaksi keluarga yang berkaitan dengan kesehatan mental remaja dan menekankan betapa pentingnya komunikasi interpersonal yang lebih baik untuk mendukung kesejahteraan mental dan memperkuat hubungan keluarga.

Abstract

Parenting style referred to the approach and methods that parents used to raise their children. This research aims to explore parents' perceptions, policies and participation in supporting children's learning process. Descriptive qualitative was used as a research method. The data of this study was a result of questionnaire and interview, and the source of the data was taken from students at MIS AL-QUBA Medan. The result of this study was the role of parents did not influence student learning in class, due to a lack of supporting factors. Various studies show that parental involvement has a positive impact on children's academic achievement, social development and emotional well-being by some factors, communication between parents and students, nutritious food, and other supporting factors such as additional tutoring and learning facilities.

Abstract

Penilaian merupakan langkah penting dalam bimbingan dan konseling. Tanpa penilaian tidak mungkin dapat mengetahui dan mengidentifikasi keberhasilan pelaksanaan bimbingan dan konseling yang telah direncanakan. Penilaian dalam bimbingan dan konseling merupakan usaha untuk menilai sejauh mana pelaksanaan bimbingan dan konseling untuk mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Dengan kata lain bahwa keberhasilan bimbingan dan konseling dalam pencapaian tujuan merupakan suatu kondisi yang hendak dilihat lewat kegiatan penilaian.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk kesulitan membaca yang menghadapi siswa dan peran guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan membaca siswa kelas II SDIP YLPI Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pada penelitian ini, data diperoleh dari 1 guru walikelas II dan 5 siswa kelas II. Metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Pengolahan data menggunakan langkah-langkah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan dalam analisis data. Wawancara dan observasi dilakukan selama 3 hari. Data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa kelas II di SDIP YLPI Pekanbaru memiliki kesulitan membaca. Dimana siswa masih ada yang belum mengenal huruf, kesulitan mengeja, dan kesalahan penggantian huruf seperti huruf “f” dan “v”. Faktor-faktor berikut menyebabkan kesulitan membaca: kurang mengenali huruf, kurang daya ingat, kesalahan penggantian huruf, kesulitan mengeja, dan kesulitan melihat jarak jauh. Guru dapat membantu siswa mengatasi kesulitan membaca dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan efektif, meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa, memberikan motivasi, dan menghindari menyalahkan masalah yang menghalangi mereka. Guru juga dapat menawarkan program remedial membaca khusus untuk siswa yang mengalami kesulitan membaca.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis sejarah tradisi ingkung dalam pernikahan masyarakat jawa di desa sei kamah kabupaten asahan dan apa makna tradisi ingkung bagi yang melaksanakannya. Metode pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan sejarah, teknik pengumpulan data dapat dilakukan dengan 3 tahap yaitu: Observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan antropologi budaya yang merupakan cara hidup sekelompok masyarakat berupa tingkah laku, kepercayaan, nilai-nilai dan simbol-simbol yang mereka terima dan wariskan melalui proses komunikasi dari satu generasi ke generasi berikutnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi Ingkung telah ada sejak lama di wilayah Jawa dan setelah masyarakat Jawa bertransmigrasi ke wilayah Sumatera, tradisi tersebut berkembang dan bertahan secara turun temurun hingga terus dilakukan hingga saat ini. Tradisi Ingkung mempunyai makna dan maksud yang baik yaitu sebagai wujud mohon syafaat kepada Nabi dan selalu mengikuti ajaran Rasul serta wujud zikir diri untuk selalu bersujud memohon ampun dan pertolongan hanya kepada Allah SWT.

Abstract

Transference can be an obstacle and help that counselors get from their clients. However, transference that is too strong from the client will also hinder the relationship in the counseling process. For this reason, a counselor must know what the causes and strategies are to resolve transference in the counseling relationship. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out how transference is in the counseling process, to obtain data regarding this purpose, the researcher uses a qualitative method with a descriptive narrative approach with online data collection. The results of this study are transference is a projection of feelings from the client to the counselor, this projection of feelings occurs because of the blurring of ethical standards or boundaries set by the counselor in the counseling process, for that we need several strategies to overcome them.
