Abstract

Untuk menginplementasikan kebijakan pemerintah pada program Percepatan Peningkatan Tata Guna Air Irigasi (P3-TGAI) yang termaktub dalam Undang-Undang No.7 Tahun 2004 Tentang Sumber Daya Air dan Peraturan Pemerintah No. 20 Tahun 2006 Tentang Irigasi, Kementerian PUPR berupaya meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat melalui program-program terukur berupa pemberdayaan masyarakat petani. Program pemberdayaan ini sangat dibutuhkan masyarakat Desa Labulu-bulu Kecamatan Parigi, dikarenakan kondisi iklim yang tidak menentu serta kurang memadayainya jaringan irigasi yang digunakan masyarakat untuk mengaliri sawah para petani. Untuk mengurai permasalah yang terjadi, pengabdian pada masyarakat ini diperlukan kerjasama antara pemerintah pusat, pemerintah daerah sampai tingkat desa, RT/RW, yang terpenting adala kelompok tani untuk merealisasikan peningkatan saluran irigasi yang direncanakan. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan pelatihan, sosialisasi, survei lokasi, pemaparan terkait prosedur perencanaan dan teknis pelaksanaan program peningkatan saluran irigasi. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pemanfaatan jaringan irigasi serta perencanaan saluraran irigasi tersier pada lahan pertanian di Labu-labu, Kecamatan Parigi Kabupaten Muna yang lebih efisien untuk mengurangi masalah kekurangan air di petak-petak persawahannya dan meningkatkan efektivitas saluran irigasi itu sendiri. Hasil program diserahkan kepada masyarakat berupa saluran irigasi yang dikerjakan oleh kelompok tani dan masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

Mining activities that take place around Pomalaa District, Kolaka Regency, cause water pollution and sedimentation processes on the coast of Sopura village. Seeing these conditions, the mining engineering study program at Sembilanbelas November University aims to carry out mangrove planting activities on the coast in Sopura village which is affected by nickel mining activities. Based on the results of the activities carried out, it can be concluded that the mangrove planting activities carried out by the mining engineering study program are going well. This is proven by the success of the mining engineering study program in planting 200 mangrove trees on the coast in Sopura Village, Pomalaa District, Kolaka Regency.

Abstract

Water is a natural resource that is crucial for the survival of all living beings, including humans. The quality of water is an important factor that can have a significant impact on human health. To ensure the well-being of the community, water quality testing was conducted at 2 drilled wells that are being used by residents of Anaiwoi Village. Based on the water quality testing results, it was found that the pH value at point 1 was between 4,6-4,8, while at point 2, it was between 4.6 - 5.9. Unfortunately, the pH values at both points were below the Environmental Health Quality Standards. On the other hand, the Total Dissolved Solid (TDS) parameters at both points were found to be within the Environmental Health Quality Standards. This is because the TDS values obtained were less than 300 mg/L or less than 300 ppm.

Abstract

Kegiatan PKM bertujuan untuk memberikan pengenalan CA dan menumbuhkan motivasi bagi mahasiswa Akuntansi sebagai salah satu upaya meningkatkan minat mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan softskill dan hardskill serta pengakuan sertifikasi. Khalayak sasaran kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Program Studi Akuntansi. Kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan berupa sosialisasi yang merupakan pengenalan awal bagi mahasiswa yang berminat untuk melanjutkan Pendidikan ke jenjang profesi Akuntansi. Pendampingan dalam sosialisasi dilakukan dengan metode ceramah yang disertai tanya jawab. Penggunaan metode ceramah dibantu penggunaan laptop dan LCD serta pemberian fotocopy powerpoint yang sediakan untuk menyampaikan materi. Adapun kendala yang dihadapi adalah minat mahasiswa yang kurang untuk meningkatkan kualitas diri dan kemampuannya dalam bidang yang ditekuninya, khususnya dibidang profesi akuntansi salah satunya adalah CA. Hal ini disebabkan kurangnya informasi yang mereka peroleh, serta banyak mahasiswa yang beranggapan bahwa profesi CA tersebut tidak menguntungkan bagi dirinya sehingga menurutnya tidak begitu penting untuk dilakukan. Faktor lainnya dikarenakan mahalnya biaya untuk mengikuti ujian CA dan materi ujian yang sulit. Sehingga hal ini yang menyebabkan mereka lebih memilih bekerja langsung dari pada memilih untuk menjadi akuntan beregister. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu (1) secara umum, mahasiswa mampu memahami tentang CA dan (2) dengan banyak peluang dan tantangan lulusan akuntansi di masa yang akan datang, meningkatkan minat mahasiswa Program Studi Akuntansi terutama mahasiswa tingkat akhir.

Abstract

Medical waste is produced in hospitals by a variety of means, including solid waste, gas, and liquid. Therefore, it is necessary to support the analysis of the production of solid medical waste at RS SMS Berjaya District of Kolaka. The purpose of this technical support is to find out the monthly quantity of solid medical waste as well as the solid medical waste disposal system carried out at SMS Berjaya Hospital. Use both qualitative and quantitative descriptions. The accompanying results showed that the solid medical waste produced from medical activities in each room during the observation was a source of non-acute infectious garbage. Class II and III hospital facilities produce the highest percentage of medical garbage 23.13 kg/day (46.26%), and the smallest unit of medical waste in each room is 2.59 kg/ day (5.18%). And in the Infectious Object Garbage, the largest in Class II & III facilities is 1.32 kg/day (29,53%). And Nifas/Perinatology facilities are much smaller than 0.4kg/day (8.95%). SMS Berjaya Hospital has a solid, well-implemented medical waste management system.

Abstract

Learning is an important process for the change of human behavior which covers something which is thought and done. The change of behavior occur. This is because it is started from one experience to the others, so it causes many changes.  Quiz competition is one of the efforts which is done to train students’ pendagogic ability. The lack of interest of students to study here raises considerable concerns so that an activity is held topromote the school through a community partnership program (PKM).PKM activity is implemented aims to attract student learning by way of conducting a quiz contest as a form of promotion. The quiz is a learning technique that is used to improve students' activity and learning outcomes through the contest. Participants of this event followed by 37 schools with one team consisting of 3 students. The quiz consists of 3 rounds namely preliminary round, semifinal round and final round. In the preliminary round obtained 5 groups which then matched to the semifinals. Furthermore, in the semifinal round obtained 3 groups who competed in the final round to win the champion candidate. The results for 1st place were achieved by SMA Negeri 16 SBB, the 2nd place was won by SMA PGRI 2 Kairatu, and 3rd place by SMA Negeri 2 Seram Barat. The result of this PKM activity is expected to attract students' interest in studying. The results of PKM activities are expected to attract students.

Abstract

Increasing technological intelligence in elementary school children is a necessity in this digital era. Therefore, this research explores the application of programming visualization using the Scratch application as an innovative method in supporting programming learning for elementary school children. Through a visual programming block approach, Scratch provides a fun and intuitive learning experience, helping children to develop an understanding of basic programming concepts. This study involved a group of elementary school children as participants, and tracked the development of their understanding of programming logic and creativity through interactive activities in Scratch. The research results show that the application of Scratch significantly increases children's grasp of programming concepts, while stimulating their creativity.

Abstract

One of the objectives of rural development, as emphasized in Article 78, paragraph (1) of Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages, is to improve the welfare of rural communities and the quality of human life, as well as poverty alleviation through the development of local economic potentials and the sustainable utilization of natural resources and the environment. The development and enhancement of local economic potentials can realize the economic self-reliance of the village. Watiginanda Village needs to undertake strategic initiatives, including the development and improvement of the local economy. Community service is conducted through the method of data collection and mapping of the local economic potentials of Watiginanda Village, which can be built and developed by the village government. In conclusion, Watiginanda Village has local potentials that can elevate its status from a developing village to an advanced village, including agricultural, fisheries, and tourism potentials. Abstract

The lack of availability of gender and child data in the city of Kendari has resulted in unresponsive policies or programs implemented by the government. Gender data on children's funds is really needed as input for development planning in all fields, including the development of women's empowerment and child protection. In Kendari City, gender and child data has not been recorded in a systematic database, making it difficult for policy makers, so a system is needed that makes it easier to manage and analyze this data. Thus, the Kendari City Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Service introduced the relevant agencies and agencies to the Gender and Children Information System Application. This activity was carried out in the form of socialization, which was attended by 51 participants from various agencies and sub-districts in Kendari city. With the success of this activity, it is hoped that the commitment and responsibility of data managers at the Kendari City Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Department will be able to provide and present gender and child data and analysis as well as contribute actively to the implementation of the Kendari City Gender and Child Information System Application.

Abstract

PT. Diamond Alfa Propertindo is a company that produces gravel stones ranging from 0.5 cm to 3 cm in size, located in Southeast Sulawesi, with a land area of 4,905 hectares. PT. Diamond Alfa Propertindo has a production target of 25,000 tons per month, with an average production of 22,000 tons per month. The company employs open-pit mining using the Quarry method, with mining locations divided into blocks A1, A2, A3, currently in the mining phase. The extraction of limestone involves drilling and blasting activities to meet production targets, posing high risks of workplace accidents, occupational diseases, fires, explosions, landslides, and environmental pollution. These risks arise from workers' non-compliance with safety regulations, unsafe working conditions, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, or poor management, as well as unsafe environmental conditions. The implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (K3) is the responsibility of every mining employee, from the highest leadership level to field executives or operators. This is conveyed through a combination of methods such as lectures, discussions, and demonstrations. The community service activities aim to ensure that the limestone mining activities of PT. Diamond Alfa Propertindo in Buton Tengah are carried out with an understanding of the importance of occupational health and safety in creating a comfortable and safe working environment for mining workers.
