Abstract

LEN Limited company is one of Indonesia's defense industries, that always tries to follow the improvement in order not to be left behind by military technology, based on government policy PP No.5 2022, which appointed PT. LEN is the leader of three government companies and all these companies will be able to support the existence of defense independence and become a company that can compete throughout the global market. However, this condition is facing some constraints (human resources, management, organization) which are handled through the transformation of the organization. This research analyzed the combination of variables that are related to transformation, where novelty is the combination of variables that are more than one or two variables in conducting the transformation. This research implemented a qualitative descriptive method with primary data (interview with PT. LEN officer within the transformation division), and secondary data (PT. LEN documents or other related literation). Research results from the analyzed data show that a combination of existing variables can be used as a strong foundation for PT. LEN transformation to be the leader of government company in a new form as DEFEND ID.

Abstract

City/regional governments have several plans to develop public facilities and infrastructure for the benefit of the community. The development of facilities and infrastructure is one of the programs in every government period. However, this work cannot be avoided from aspects of project failure or default. Projects that experienced default have occurred in Medan, Lhoksemawe, and Bukittinggi. This default occurred due to delays and inconsistencies in development which made the Medan city government request a refund of the total funds that had been given to the contractor or inconsistently because of the inaccuracy of payment for contractor services by the government. So, this article was written to find out the form of default by the Regional Government from the perspective of the MUI DSN - MUI fatwa no. 43 regarding this case. This research is qualitative research with the type of case study and normative law with data collection carried out using literature study and document study. The results of this research show that there are two forms of default committed by contractors, namely: (1) Delays in work (2) Delays in payment of funds, and (3) Non-compliance with plans and construction results. Perspective analysis of the MUI DSN – MUI fatwa no. 43 regarding this case the law is permissible. This shows the importance of fulfilling the contract in a joint agreement to achieve mutual success and comfort in making a contract or agreement.

Abstract

To anticipate fluctuations in share value, investors rely on empirical research. Ratios are often used in financial statement studies. The focus of the research is on traditional commercial banks listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange so that stock exchange trading trends can be identified. Debt-to-equity ratio, current ratio, return on investment, and bank stock price are just some of the financial metrics we'll look at. The 45 participating banks are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and are part of this research. Thirteen or eleven banks were randomly selected for this investigation. Share prices can also be influenced by other indicators such as return on investment (ROI), current ratio, and debt-to-equity ratio. The value of a company is negatively influenced only by the Current Ratio. The Current Ratio is considered to have a detrimental influence because capital market investors do not consider the extent of this financial measure when formulating investment choices.

Abstract

Individuals, as entities living on this earth, have a variety of needs that must be fulfilled in their lives. Because of the diversity of needs to be met, individuals are directly involved in consumption activities to ensure fulfillment. Often, the purchase of a commodity is not based on a real need, but on behavior carried out solely to satisfy personal pleasure, thereby resulting in the individual becoming consumptive. The factors causing consumptive behavior are the use of digital payment and e-service quality. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of digital payment and e-service quality on consumptive behavior among Shopee users. The study used a quantitative approach with a comparative causal design. The study population of all students at vocational high school 1 Pedan amounted to 1,063, and samples of 291 students were counted with the Slovin formula with a degree of significance of 5%. The sampling technique used stratified random sampling. The instruments used for questionnaires were shared through Google Forms. Data analysis techniques used multiple-linear regression. The results of the study showed that digital payment has a positive and significant effect on the consumptive behavior of Shopee users, e-service quality has a positive and significant effect on the consumptive behavior of Shopee users, and digital payment and e-service quality has a simultaneous and significant positive effect on the consumptive behavior among Shopee users. Taking into consideration the limitations of this study, future researchers are advised to explore additional variables that may affect consumptive behavior and broaden the sample size to obtain a more comprehensive overview.

Abstract

This research reveals the significant impact of brand awareness and celebrity endorsement on purchase intention, particularly within the context of Scarlett products. The analysis confirms that the level of brand awareness correlates significantly with consumers' inclination to purchase products. These findings highlight the necessity of building brand awareness as an effective marketing strategy, using engaging advertising campaigns, presence across various media platforms, and involvement in social activities or sponsorship of popular events. Furthermore, the study confirms that the brand image of Scarlett products holds a crucial influence on brand awareness. Positive brand image elements such as strong slogans, product quality, and memorable packaging contribute to enhancing brand awareness among consumers. On the other hand, celebrity endorsements also prove to have a substantial impact on purchase intention. The presence of celebrities in advertisements captures consumers' attention, influences their perceptions of the brand and product, and increases their interest in purchasing. Selecting the right celebrities becomes an effective strategy for influencing consumer purchasing behavior. The results of this research provide profound insights into the importance of brand awareness, brand image, and celebrity endorsement in influencing consumer behavior, while also highlighting potential marketing strategies that companies can employ to enhance purchase intention.

Abstract

Trade Regulation Number 40 of 2022 issues a policy prohibiting the import of used clothing in Indonesia. This policy has a detrimental impact on imported used clothing traders, especially those in Kisaran City. For this reason, the protection of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the local clothing sector must receive attention. From the perspective of maslahah mursalah, it takes into account the public benefit and the interests of society at large, including in issuing laws, including Minister of Trade Regulation Number 40 of 2022, which was issued to improve market prices due to the large number of buyers of used clothes. However, on the other hand, it needs to be understood that the government must also pay attention to the welfare of second-hand clothing sellers who will of course lose their jobs because of the policies made. This research concludes that the government can take several actions, such as providing training or outreach related to the development of MSMEs so that people can upgrade their skills and can make products that are equivalent to foreign goods so that in the future there is no need to import used goods from abroad. This research uses empirical legal research methods, by collecting data on the direct effects experienced by MSMEs, especially sellers of imported second-hand goods, as well as the protection provided by the government to them according to Maslahah Mursalah.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the law related to the occurrence of full control of the debt collateral object by the murtahin (debt giver). The method used in this research is an empirical juridical research method obtained through interviews. As for the research location in Bathin Betuah Village, Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency, Riau, the perspective used is the opinion of Wahbah az-Zuhaili. The approach used is a conceptual approach . The research results show that control of the debt collateral object may not be fully controlled by the murtahin. This is because Rahin is unable to pay his debt installments, always asks for time to pay his debts, and does not keep his promise to pay at the specified time. Murtahin's full control of the debt collateral object must not be separated from its original owner (Ar-Raahin) and Al-Murtahin may not own it, when Ar-Raahin is unable to redeem it at the specified time. The solution offered when Rahin is no longer able to pay the debt is that the proceeds from the sale of the collateral object are to pay the debt. If the debt has been paid off and there is an excess (remaining) then it becomes the property of Rahin (the borrower). According to Wahbah az-Zuhaili, the practice of controlling debt collateral completely by murtahin is not permitted or is haram.
