Abstract

This research aims to understand whether company size mediates the effect of profitability and leverage on company value in manufacturing companies in the basic industrial and chemical sectors during the 2020-2022 period. This type of research uses quantitative research using secondary data recorded systematically in the form of a time series, namely from 2020-2022 obtained from the official IDX website (www.idx.co.id) with associative cause and effect as a form of research. Based on the test results using the T Test, it was found that Return on Equity (ROE), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Company Size had a significant effect on company value with significance values of 0.0043, 0.0000 respectively, and 0.00005. This shows that Hypotheses 1, 2, and 3 can be accepted. However, the influence of ROE and DER on company size does not have a significant effect on company value with significance values of 0.4481 and 0.8949 respectively, so Hypotheses 4 and 5 are rejected. Based on the test results using the Sobel Test, it was found that company size was unable to mediate the influence of ROE and DER on company value with p-values of 0.64 and 0.45 respectively, indicating that Hypotheses 6 and 7 were rejected.

Abstract

The word slander is often spoken in society in everyday life, namely defamation. But in this study, the word slander in question is a trial for women and men. It is said in a hadith of the Prophet Muhammad. "I have not left behind a slander for humans which is more dangerous for men than (its slander) for women." Regarding this hadith, many people still understand it textually without looking at the content of the related hadith. Perceptions like this fall are accompanied by attitudes of blaming and defaming women. Therefore, the understanding of women's hadith as slander cannot be understood in general but must be understood by looking at the asbab al-wurud or fiqh al-hadith of the hadith. Because if you understand it just by looking at the hadith, women are indeed a dangerous source of slander for men, where a woman can be said to be slanderous if she cannot protect herself from things that are prohibited in Islam. This hadith is also considered valid. In this research, the author will discuss the analysis of the targeted hadith and what the scholars think about this hadith, which aims to increase knowledge, understanding, and insight for writers and readers in understanding hadiths, especially women, as slanderers. The method used by the author refers to the tahlili (analytical)/qualitative method in the form of library research.

This research is limited to Indonesian stock investors, using the Stockbit platform for stock investment, and the research was conducted cross-sectionally. This research found that FoMO effects that investors felt can significantly influence purchasing attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control. Meanwhile, the quality of information contained in UGC has a significant positive effect on purchase attitudes and financial literacy can reduce the influence of investor FoMO on purchasing intentions. This research contributes to the extended theory of planned behavior in explaining stock investment behavior and enriches understanding of the influence of UGC, FoMO, and financial literacy on investment decisions. Abstract

This research is based on the fact that many companies ignore the environment in their operations, although good relationships with the community and the environment are vital for business sustainability. This responsibility increases as the company grows in size, which is reflected in the implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance performance. (ESG). The study assessed the impact of ESG disclosure on the value of energy sector companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period 2019-2022, using panel data regression analysis through EViews 12 software. The results show that ESG disclosure has an impact on the company's value. Statistical tests indicate that the disclosures of ESG have a positive effect on the company's value. However, when the interaction between ESG Disclosure and the size of a company is included in the model, the results show a negative impact. The size of the enterprise has a positive impact on company value but weakens the relationship between the ESG revelation and company value when interacting with ESG.
