Abstract

The government plans to move the country's capital from Jakarta to the Archipelago Capital (IKN) in East Kalimantan. This has become a hot topic for research, including research on the impact and risks of transferring IKN to civil servants (PNS) who are transferred to IKN. This study highlights the level of individual readiness in facing the transfer of civil servants to IKN by evaluating the influence of perceived organizational support, transformational leadership, and organizational trust on individual readiness to change. Quantitative research methods through self-administered questionnaires were carried out on 311 employee respondents in the Financial Administration Unit. Hypothesis testing uses the Structural Equation Model with Lisrel 8.8. The research results show that perceived organizational support and transformational leadership have a significant positive effect on readiness for change. Furthermore, organizational trust partially mediates the relationship between perceived organizational support transformational leadership, and readiness for change. This research contributes to the field of human resource management through practical guidance for increasing readiness for change in the context of organizational change, especially the transfer of employees to the Indonesian capital, in public sector organizations.

Abstract

Warehouse Management System (WMS) as software to improve the efficiency of warehouse management. Warehouse management systems require solutions to optimise the management of accurate inventory data to record every transaction in the warehouse, manage the way goods are stored, and integrate between warehouses. CV. Everfresh Kediri is a manufacturing company engaged in seed production. The problems identified in warehouse operations mostly come from human error. This research was conducted to improve warehouse operational management by developing a Warehouse Management System (WMS) using the myWMS application as the right solution to reduce human error by implementing various management processes, including inbound and outbound management and tracking, as well as visualizing the time of each process that occurs from goods entering to exiting the warehouse. Testing using the FIFO LIFO method with myWMS software shows that the FIFO method is the best choice for the company because it can streamline the operational process up to 10 Minutes 18 Seconds or 20.04% from the old manual process.

Job analysis is also conducted in the form of structure organization and job description of Sariraya Co., Ltd Warehouse Unit. This research uses descriptive techniques through a qualitative approach with all warehouse employees as the main source of data research. The Full-Time Equivalent Method is used as the data analysis technique. Data was collected using questionnaires and structured interviews with permanent employees of the Sariraya Warehouse Co., Ltd. unit. Based on the results of the Full-Time Equivalent calculation, it was found that there were employees who had an excessive workload (overload) of 2 people, a shortage (underload) of 1 person and there was no optimal employee workload (inload). Apart from that, it was also found that there was a backlog of work for 1 person with an FTE score > 2.2. The final score for the total workload received by warehouse employees was 6.2691046. So, management should add 2 more people so that the existing workload can be optimal. Hence, this research can be used as a consideration for management in determining the appropriate job descriptions and number of employees so that employees receive optimal workloads to achieve optimal employee performance.

Abstract

After Covid-19 that occurred in early 2020, the world of work has undergone dramatic changes over the past few decades. The technological revolution, especially the development of the internet and digital communication has made it possible for many employees to work from anywhere. Work that can be accessed anytime and anywhere results in many people having difficulty separating work from their personal lives. This can lead to an imbalance between work and life, where work becomes more dominating of an individual's time and attention. The purpose of this study is to create and develop an empirical conceptual model of how burnout and employee engagement can affect turnover intention with work-life balance being a mediating variable. The research method is a quantitative method with the distribution of questionnaires which are then processed using SmartPLS 3.0. The result of the study was Burnout has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. Employee involvement has a positive but not significant influence on turnover intentions. Burnout has a negative but not significant effect on work-life balance. Employee engagement has a positive and significant effect on work-life balance. Work-life balance has a negative but not significant effect on turnover intentions. Work-life balance cannot mediate burnout and employee engagement against turnover intentions.
