Abstract

The persistent attitude-behavior gap represents one of the most significant challenges in sustainable consumption research. Despite growing environmental consciousness, consumers frequently fail to translate their pro-environmental attitudes into actual green purchase behavior. This systematic literature review synthesizes existing research on the mechanisms that bridge or widen this gap, with particular focus on the dual psychological pathways of value perception and trust formation. Following PRISMA 2020 guidelines, this study systematically reviews empirical articles published between 2016-2025 from Scopus and Web of Science databases. The Theory-Context-Characteristics-Methodology (TCCM) framework is employed to organize and synthesize findings, identify research gaps, and propose future research directions. The review reveals that the Theory of Planned Behavior and Value-Belief-Norm Theory dominate the theoretical landscape, while Signaling Theory remains underutilized. Green perceived value and green trust emerge as critical mediating mechanisms, with the value-based pathway demonstrating stronger effects in emerging market contexts. Environmental concern functions as a significant boundary condition that strengthens the translation of psychological antecedents into actual behavior. This study contributes by integrating fragmented findings through comprehensive TCCM analysis, proposing an integrative dual-pathway framework, and providing a structured research agenda. The review advances theoretical understanding of how environmental signals are processed through cognitive and affective mechanisms to influence consumer behavior.

Abstract

In today’s competitive labor market, many graduates, particularly those from Islamic business faculties, struggle to secure jobs that match their qualifications and ensure sustainable income. There is growing concern about the gap between educational preparation and post-graduation earnings, especially regarding the effectiveness of structured career preparation programs. This study aims to examine the influence of three key career preparation strategies: industrial internships, career counseling training, and career workshops on the earnings of graduates from Islamic business education programs. Using a quantitative approach, the study employs Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to analyze data collected from a sample of 347 students out of a total population of 2,617 from the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business at Sheikh Abdul Halim Hasan Binjai Institute. The findings show that the three variables industrial internships, career counseling training, and career workshops, have a significant and positive impact on graduate income. Internships provide real-world experience that enhances employability, counseling supports informed career decision-making, and workshops strengthen soft skills relevant to the labor market. Career preparation programs play an essential role in improving the economic outcomes of Islamic business graduates. Higher education institutions should integrate practical activities, consultation, and skill enhancement to bridge the gap between academic learning and labor market demands. This study uniquely contributes to the literature by focusing on career preparation in the context of Islamic higher education, an area that remains largely under-researched. It offers empirical evidence of how structured interventions can increase graduate income and provides strategic insights for curriculum developers, policymakers, and educational institutions seeking to improve graduate employability through holistic preparation mechanisms.

Abstract

This research sought to examine the impact of various determinants, including Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB), Rice Agricultural Land Area, Open Unemployment Rate, and Poverty Level, on Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budgets (APBD). The analysis was carried out across 12 districts and cities within East Java Province over a five-year period, specifically from 2019 to 2023. The employed methodology consists of a panel data regression utilizing the most suitable approach, identified as the Random Effect Model (REM). The data utilized were sourced from official agencies such as BPS, BPKAD, and other relevant institutions. The findings indicated that PDRB exerts a positive and significant influence on the budget, suggesting that an increase in regional economic activity correlates with enhanced financial capacity for local governments. Conversely, the Poverty Rate demonstrated a negative and significant impact, indicating that a higher poverty level corresponds to diminished financial capacity within the region. The variables pertaining to Rice Agricultural Land Area and Open Unemployment Rate revealed no significant effect on the budget. These outcomes underscore the importance of economic development and the enhancement of public welfare as pivotal factors for augmenting regional budgets.

Abstract

This research seeks to ascertain the components of agricultural production and the price dynamics of commodities that affect the Nominal Producer Price (NTP) in Indonesia, utilizing panel data from 26 provinces over the period from 2019 to 2023. The independent variables examined comprise labor, commodity prices, harvested land area, and farmer productivity. Through a series of model evaluations, the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) emerged as the optimal model, as determined by the outcomes of the Chow and Hausman tests. Collectively, all variables demonstrated a statistically significant impact on the NTP, with a coefficient of determination of 0.9681, signifying that 96.81% of the variability in the NTP can be attributed to these factors. On an individual basis, the labor variable exhibited a negative and significant influence, suggesting that an increase in the workforce has not been matched by corresponding improvements in work efficiency. In contrast, commodity prices displayed a positive and significant relationship, indicating that rising agricultural product prices can enhance farmer welfare. The variables pertaining to harvested area and farmer productivity revealed a positive yet insignificant impact on the NTP, implying that an increase in production alone does not necessarily translate into improved welfare without the backing of efficient distribution and price stability. These results highlight the necessity for policies aimed at price stabilization, enhancement of value addition, and modernization of agricultural practices to bolster farmers' purchasing power and overall welfare.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of environmental performance, environmental costs, and carbon emission disclosure on financial performance and firm value in property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2022–2024 period. A quantitative approach was employed using secondary data obtained from annual and sustainability reports. The research sample was selected through purposive sampling based on the availability and completeness of relevant data. Financial performance was measured using Return on Assets (ROA), while firm value was proxied by Tobin’s Q. Environmental performance was assessed through ISO 14001 certification, environmental costs were calculated as the proportion of corporate social responsibility expenditure to profit, and carbon emission disclosure was measured using a dichotomous disclosure index. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, supported by descriptive statistics and classical assumption tests. The findings indicate that environmental performance has a positive effect on financial performance, while environmental costs negatively affect financial performance. Carbon emission disclosure does not significantly influence financial performance. Regarding firm value, environmental performance and environmental costs show no significant effect, whereas carbon emission disclosure positively influences firm value, suggesting that investors increasingly value transparency related to environmental impacts. These results highlight the differing roles of environmental initiatives in shaping corporate financial outcomes and market valuation.
