Abstract

Alcoholic beverages and their negative effects have been around for a long time. Therefore, it is not surprising that alcoholic beverages that are included in the category of containing intoxicating substances (both made in traditional and modern ways) are widely available and consumed by people from urban areas to remote areas in rural areas. Drinking alcoholic beverages can cause a paranoid response (delusional disorder; a mental condition that causes individuals to have strange and imaginary perceptions such as believing that they are important or famous) which in fact, may seem somewhat rational and positive from an external perspective. Drinking alcoholic beverages will cause its absorption into the bloodstream, which will gradually inhibit the function of the nervous system.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between learning motivation and students' English writing achievement. This study uses a descriptive method with correlational analysis. The respondents of the study were grade X students at The State Senior High School 8 Jambi City in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The sampling technique was a random technique, obtaining 34 students. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to determine students' English learning motivation and writing tests were conducted to determine students' writing achievement. The type of writing test given is a descriptive type. Meanwhile, to measure the correlation of research data, the researcher used Pearson-Product Moment with calculations using SPSS 25. The results of the study showed a strong relationship between motivation and students' writing achievement.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the "Effect of Green Accounting and Corporate Social Responsibility Publication on Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure with Financial Performance as a Moderating Variable" in non-cyclical consumer and energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018 to 2022. Based on the data analysis in the previous chapter, the following conclusions can be drawn, Green Accounting has no effect on Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure, CSR Publication has no effect on Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure, Green Accounting and CSR Publication have an effect on Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure, Financial Performance does not moderate the effect of Green Accounting on Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure, Financial Performance does not moderate the effect of Publication on Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure.

Abstract

This study attempts to conduct a comprehensive and in-depth examination of the challenges in managing learning at SMPN 3 Numfor Barat located on Numfor Island. To achieve the research objectives, the author uses a qualitative research methodology to explore field phenomena naturally and comprehensively. This study involved 1 head of educational unit, 1 subject teacher, and 141 students. Research techniques include field observation, document analysis, and detailed interviews to identify key issues in the learning management process. Data processing includes initial collection, reduction, presentation, analysis, verification and validation, drawing conclusions, and formulating recommendations. The research findings are that: 1) Learning management at SMPN 3 Numfor Barat includes planning, implementation, and evaluation functions. 2) These management components have not been implemented effectively and efficiently. 3) The main challenge in managing learning at SMPN 3 Numfor Barat lies in the planning stage, where learning materials are fully aligned. This study provides valuable insights for the government, education department, Education Unit Companions, heads of education units, teachers, and stakeholders to design and implement learning.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the perceptions of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) among teachers and students in elementary, middle, and high schools. Using a mixed-methods approach, surveys and interviews were conducted with 15 teachers and 45 students across various schools. The results indicate that while elementary school teachers and students generally have positive perceptions of PBL, middle school participants report mixed feelings, often citing difficulties in adapting to the new learning style. High school respondents appreciate the depth of understanding fostered by PBL but express concerns about time constraints and curriculum coverage. These findings highlight the need for tailored PBL implementations that consider the specific challenges and advantages at each educational level. This study contributes by providing insights into the practical applications of PBL and suggesting areas for future research to optimize its effectiveness across diverse learning environments.

Abstract

This study investigates gender differences in the academic performance of Basic 3 Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) pupils taught Social Studies using cross-age peer tutoring in Port Harcourt Metropolis, Rivers State. The study employed a quasi-experimental design, comparing the pre-test and post-test scores of male and female ADHD pupils exposed to cross-age peer tutoring. Results revealed that male pupils performed better than their female counterparts at both stages, with a statistically significant difference confirmed by ANCOVA analysis (F = 590.158, p < 0.05). These findings suggest that while cross-age peer tutoring enhances learning outcomes for ADHD pupils, gender disparities persist, potentially influenced by cognitive, social, and environmental factors. The study highlights the effectiveness of peer tutoring in supporting ADHD learners by providing structured interactions that enhance engagement and retention. However, the observed gender gap calls for targeted interventions to improve female pupils’ learning experiences. Recommendations include teachers implementing additional support mechanisms to enhance the learning experiences of female ADHD pupils. This may include tailored instructional materials, differentiated instruction, and mentoring programs.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the resolution of breach of contract disputes in loan agreements with fiduciary guarantees among certain individuals in Mataram City. It covers the implementation of loan agreements with fiduciary guarantees as well as the methods and processes involved in resolving breach of contract disputes in such agreements, specifically in the Sekarbela District of Mataram City. The research also seeks to determine whether the dispute resolution and its implementation comply with legal mandates. This study employs a normative-empirical legal research approach, utilizing statutory, conceptual, and sociological approaches. The research findings indicate that loan agreements with fiduciary guarantees do exist among certain individuals. Observations conducted so far reveal that such practices are common; however, their implementation often involves minor errors that can have significant consequences in cases of breach of contract. One of these errors is the failure to register the fiduciary guarantee with the Fiduciary Registration Office, which results in legal uncertainty and the emergence of preferred creditors. Additionally, some loan agreements are made without collateral, which could ultimately harm the creditor.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of cultural sentiment and parental intervention on the political participation of young voters in Indonesia. The study uses a descriptive verification method with an ex post facto and survey approach. Data were collected from 51 young voters who have the right to vote in the 2024 General Election. The results of the study show that cultural sentiment and parental intervention do not have a significant individual influence on the political participation of young voters. This suggests that other factors may be more dominant in influencing the political participation of young voters. This research makes an important contribution to understanding the factors that influence the political participation of young people in Indonesia.

Abstract

Economic growth is an important indicator in assessing the progress of a country, including Indonesia. Various macroeconomic factors can affect this growth, and a deep understanding of the relationship between these variables is essential to formulating effective policies. This study aims to analyze the influence of macroeconomic variables, namely inflation, Human Development Index (HDI), labor wages, digital technology transformation, and manufacturing industry on economic growth in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach with panel data regression analysis to test the relationship between independent and dependent variables. The data used includes secondary data from various official sources such as the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) from 2013 to 2023 in 12 provinces in Indonesia. The results of the analysis show that inflation has a negative impact on economic growth, while HDI, labor wages, and digital technology transformation show a significant positive effect. In addition, the manufacturing industry also contributes positively to economic growth. This finding emphasizes the importance of price stability and improving the quality of human resources and adopting technology in driving economic growth. The conclusion of the research results is that macroeconomic variables have an important role in influencing economic growth in Indonesia. Therefore, policies that focus on controlling inflation, increasing HDI, adjusting labor wages in accordance with productivity, and supporting digital transformation and the manufacturing sector need to be prioritized to achieve sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of organizational commitment in mediating the work environment and compensation on employee performance at PT. Japfa Comfeed Indo. Tbk Parungkuda Hatchery Unit. Data was collected through questionnaires from 92 employees and analyzed using the IBM SPSS v25 application with the path analysis method. The research results show that the work environment and compensation have an influence on employee performance, and organizational commitment is able to mediate the relationship between the work environment and compensation on employee performance. Based on these findings, it is recommended that companies improve work facilities, provide appropriate benefits, and strengthen normative commitments to increase employee satisfaction and productivity.
