Abstract

This research aims to determine the feasibility of developing an active snakes and ladders game to improve the cognitive abilities and creativity of young children. The subjects in this research were early childhood children whose object was to improve cognitive abilities and creativity in children aged 5-6 years. With a sample of 15 children. This type of research is the ADDIE model which is a systematic learning design model. ADDIE is an abbreviation for Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate). The data analysis technique in this research is to use data obtained from validator input at the validation stage, material experts and input from media experts. Based on the research results, from the media expert's assessment, a score was obtained with a score percentage of 98% in the "Very Good" or "Appropriate" category for use and play. The next results based on material experts obtained a score of 97.7% which was included in the "Very Good" or "Easy" category to use. And based on the results of the last validation, namely the research instrument sheet, results were also obtained at 82.9% which were in the "Easy" category to use. The validation results show that the three products are suitable for use.

Abstract

Children's interactions are often faced with various problems, and the ability to cope with these problems is fundamental for children to have. Coping strategies become a tool that can be applied for children to deal with various situations, both external and internal problems. In this study, the subjects consisted of one teacher, two parents, and two students. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation, using a qualitative research method approach. Qualitative research was chosen because researchers wanted to explore differences in coping strategies used by boys and girls when facing social and emotional problems. Data analysis was conducted using Miles and Huberman's interactive data analysis model, which involves several stages such as data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. The results showed that children have been able to report various coping strategies, including seeking support, problem solving, distraction, and escape. Girls tended to be more dominant in seeking support than boys. In addition, coping responses with aggressive and destructive behaviors were more often found in boys than girls.

Abstract

Media are objects that can be manipulated, observed, listened to, read, or talked about using certain tools. Therefore, learning media are various useful forms, both physical and technical, which can help teachers in conveying learning material to students. At the Ngadri PKK Kindergarten educational institution, especially group B, there are still many students who lack a responsible attitude, especially towards themselves. After the researcher carried out a needs analysis of the problems that emerged in group B children, here the researcher took the initiative to develop a PanTabTang media (Star Savings Board). This media was developed as an alternative in increasing the responsible attitude of group B children at the Ngadri PKK Kindergarten. The aim of this research and development is to test the level of validity, practicality and effectiveness of the PanTabTang media for group B children at PKK Ngadri Kindergarten. This research and development uses the ADDIE development model which goes through 5 stages, namely 1) Analysis; 2) Design; 3) Development; 4) Implementation; 5) Evaluation. The research and development results show that the first media expert obtained a score of 100% from the first media expert, the second media expert obtained a score of 91.67%, and from the teacher response questionnaire sheet he obtained a score of 95.56%. The results of product trials from student observation sheets achieved a normalized gain value of 0.81.

Abstract

This study aims to address several key issues, namely how the implementation of the Role-Playing Learning Center Model can improve the social skills of early childhood children aged 4-5 years at KB Al Hayat Jatikalang Krian. What are the challenges faced in implementing the Role-Playing Learning Center Model to enhance the social skills of early childhood children aged 4-5 years at KB Al Hayat Jatikalang. And what are the solutions to overcome the challenges in implementing the Role-Playing Learning Center Model to improve the social skills of early childhood children aged 4-5 years at KB Al Hayat Jatikalang. The research uses a qualitative model with a case study approach. The implementation of the role-playing learning center model at KB Al Hayat Jatikalang Krian involves preparing predetermined tools such as themes, lesson plans (RPPH), density, intensity, learning SOPs, and child development assessments. In all learning processes, encountering obstacles is common, but these obstacles do not always carry a negative connotation; the important thing is that evaluation and improvement occur in response to these challenges. Every challenge certainly has accompanying solutions, as is the case with the obstacles encountered in the learning centers at KB Al Hayat. The following are solutions that can be used to address these challenges. Facing inadequate media challenges, considering the already good school conditions, it would be beneficial for the school to add facilities for students to support the progress and smoothness of the teaching and learning process to ensure the accountability of the children's outcomes.

Abstract

The low visual-spatial abilities of the students at Awirrasyidin Sei Mencirim Kindergarten led to the conduct of this study. Children struggle to memorize and organize geometric forms, cannot distinguish between right and left, and have trouble distinguishing colors. The purpose of this study is to enhance kids' visual-spatial intelligence by using puzzle games. With 18 kids serving as research subjects, the study was carried out at the Awirrasyidin Sei Mencirim Kindergarten. Observation and documentation are the two methods of data gathering used in this qualitative study. The findings of the study demonstrate that children's visual-spatial intelligence can be enhanced via puzzle games.

Abstract

Kecerdasan kinestetik merupakan sebuah kemampuan gerak tubuh serta memanfaatkan seluruh anggota tubuh. Kecerdasan kinestetik adalah keselarasan antara pikiran dan otak, dimana pikiran akan memanfaatkan tubuh dan tubuh dilatih untuk merespon ekspresi kekuatan dan pikiran. Kemampuan kinestetik pada anak berfungsi untuk mengendalikan serta memanfaatkan pikiran dan gerakan tubuh. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang dilakukan di RA Khusnul Hafzhan dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara dapat dilihat bahwa seni tari di RA Khusnul Hafzhan terbukti dapat mengembangkan kecerdasan kinestetik pada anak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kemampuan motorik anak usia dini melalui tari Saman di TK Cambridge Binjai. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada minggu pertama, anak-anak masih bingung dengan gerakan tari Saman. Pada minggu kedua, anak-anak mulai menunjukkan perkembangan motorik kasar, meskipun masih ada beberapa yang bingung. Pada minggu ketiga, semua anak mampu mengingat dan melakukan gerakan dengan baik. Hal ini berarti tari Saman efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar anak usia dini di TK Cambridge Binjai. tari Saman dapat digunakan sebagai metode pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar anak.
