Abstract

“The Global God Divide” survey conducted by the Pew Research Center in 2020 revealed that Indonesia has the highest ranking as a highly religious country. As many as 98% of respondents stated that religion plays an important role in their lives. In the face of the complexity of modern-day challenges, a deep understanding of how religion influences individual views and behaviors is crucial. This research adopts the literature study method to analyze existing scholarly writings, focusing on the role of religion and its impact on the formation of people's social responsibility, morals, and ethics. Faith-based character education can be a powerful tool in shaping individual character and fostering social responsibility. The integration of religious values in education through programs such as religious ethics discussions, interactive understanding tools, religious values competitions, and religious values-based community projects can help in understanding and internalizing moral principles in life.

Abstract

Many Islamic educational experts have given serious attention to studying the concept of learning ethics, including al-Zarnuji and Ahmad Maisur Sindi al-Thursidi, who were Muslim intellectual thinkers who were competent in developing Islamic educational thought in their time. This research aims to determine the similarities and differences in thoughts in the Book of Ta'limul Muta'allim by Syaikh Al-Zarnuji and the Book of Tanbihul Muta'allim by KH. Ahmad Maisur Sindi Al-Thursidi. The results of the research show that the similarities between both regarding ethics in learning are that you must be in a state of purity, pray before studying, be istiqamah in studying, face the direction of the Qibla, be serious in studying, respect the teacher, be polite, not hurt the teacher's feelings, and ask permission if necessary. Meanwhile, according to al-Thursidi, the difference is that students must be serious about studying, memorize and learn knowledge in stages, divide their time so they can fulfill their time rights, understand knowledge seriously and write down the knowledge they have gained, repeat lessons more often. Which has been studied mainly at night, and must apply the knowledge gained to others so that the knowledge becomes useful.

Abstract

The curriculum is a set of plans and arrangements regarding the content and learning materials as well as the methods used as guidelines for organizing teaching and learning activities. Therefore, the curriculum must be planned well to facilitate the achievement of teaching objectives, this arrangement is called curriculum management. The Muslim Personal Development Curriculum at SDI Al Azhar is a modification and combination of the National Curriculum plus the characteristics of Al Azhar. The KPPM curriculum covers all subjects, especially Islamic Religious Education subjects. The KPPM curriculum still sounds foreign to the public's ears, so sometimes this curriculum is underestimated, so many people ask how the learning activity process starts from planning, implementation and evaluation. To find out this information, researchers carried out research methods in the form of observation, interviews and documentation using a qualitative approach. The results of this research show that the KPPM curriculum management process for PAI subjects through the planning, implementation and evaluation stages is running well. The planning stage is carried out by all teachers with teachers compiling Prota, Prosem, educational calendars, lesson schedules, etc. At the implementation stage, each teaching staff carries out tasks according to the planned tasks, the teacher makes a lesson plan based on the syllabus as the material to be taught. Next there is an evaluation stage starting from the school, the principal, teachers and students carry out this stage to find out whether they have achieved the specified target or not.

Abstract

The learning process at school trains and familiarizes students with interactions with society, not just involving them in the complexity of problems that exist in society. Students must be able to take on roles no matter how small according to their respective skills. Apart from that, the problem is the complexity of the community situation itself. From this situation, a PAI teacher must be able to make students able to process information, make generalizations, solve problems, connect causality, and relate the concepts of religious sciences to everyday life for themselves and society. The focus of this research is what is the ability of PAI teachers to compose HOTS questions at AL Azhar Menganti Vocational School? and What factors influence the teacher's ability to compose HOTS questions at AL Azhar Menganti Vocational School. This research uses a descriptive qualitative type through interviews, observation and documentation methods. The results of this research are that the ability of PAI subject teachers at AL Azhar Menganti Vocational School in making LOTS questions is categorized as capable because LOTS questions are easier for teachers to make and done by students and in daily learning. Factors that influence the teacher's ability to compose HOTS questions at AL Azhar Menganti Vocational School are the teacher's limited time in creating HOTS questions, not understanding how to find and match KKOs for the questions being created, and inappropriate selection of KDs and minimal socialization regarding the preparation of HOTS questions.

Abstract

In the current and future era of digital Society 5.0, Islamic boarding schools must also equip students with adequate technological information to support life. In this day and age, whether they like it or not, students will be exposed to the virtual world. The Era of Society 5.0 is an era where all technology cannot be separated from humans themselves. In this case, education has entered the Era of the Industrial Revolution 5.0, where the biggest era has entered the digital era. Currently, education in Islamic boarding schools is facing challenges that cannot be avoided along with the rapid development of technology. and students must be able to face how to keep up with technological developments and maintain the Islamic boarding school culture that has been tested in the Islamic boarding school journey. This research is analytical research that uses library research methods (Library Research). The research results include that changing the learning model from traditional textbooks to digital has become problematic for the world of Islamic boarding schools. This paradigm shift aims to abandon the academic and cultural traditions of Islamic boarding schools which are still preserved as Islamic boarding school identities. Islamic boarding schools must maintain their local identity (local wisdom) but must be globally competitive. There needs to be a change in the model of kiai and santri in Islamic boarding schools so that millennial students can become millennial students who can answer the challenges of the digital age.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the learning strategies used by teachers in guiding the practice of Islamic teachings among students at SDN 2 Galagamba. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show that teachers use a variety of learning strategies, methods, and techniques, such as card match, reading aloud, card sorting, inquiry, group discussion, simulation, demonstration, and "everyone is a teacher here." These strategies facilitate students' active involvement in the learning process so that they can understand Islamic Religious Education subject matter in depth and practice the values ??of religious teachings in everyday life. Students are able to understand the subject matter well, answer questions, do assignments, read the Koran with correct recitation, believe in the pillars of faith, show commendable behavior, avoid disgraceful actions, understand Islamic law regarding food sources, and understand the history of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and history of Islamic da'wah. The findings of this research are in line with the principles of effective learning, constructivist learning theory, and previous research. However, there is still room for improvement and refinement of learning practices in the future, such as the development of more innovative and contextual strategies, increasing teacher skills, more active student involvement, integration of holistic learning approaches, and continuous evaluation and reflection. The success of Islamic religious education also requires support from various parties, such as the government, schools, parents, and society.
