Abstract

Digital transformation has revolutionized commercial interactions through e-commerce platforms, simultaneously creating unprecedented challenges in consumer data governance. This research examines strategic frameworks for protecting consumer digital rights, focusing on comprehensive data governance mechanisms within Indonesia's e-commerce ecosystem. Employing mixed-method research combining quantitative analysis of data breach incidents and qualitative assessment of regulatory frameworks, this study analyzes 156 reported data security incidents from 2019-2024. Findings reveal that inadequate data governance structures, insufficient consumer awareness, and weak enforcement mechanisms constitute primary vulnerabilities. The research proposes a multi-tiered protection strategy encompassing regulatory harmonization, technological safeguards, and consumer empowerment initiatives. Key recommendations include establishing a unified data protection authority, implementing mandatory privacy impact assessments, and developing consumer-centric data rights frameworks.

Abstract

This study examines the role of istinbath hukum (legal derivation) institutions in Indonesia in addressing contemporary challenges. It explores how these institutions adapt traditional methodologies to interpret Islamic law in response to evolving societal, technological, and global issues. The research aims to identify the challenges faced by these institutions and propose strategies for enhancing their relevance and effectiveness in a rapidly changing legal landscape. Utilizing a qualitative approach, the study analyzes the processes of legal derivation and the impact of their fatwas or rulings on public life. Findings indicate that while these institutions possess a rich heritage of legal scholarship, they often struggle with the pace of modern developments, leading to a need for more dynamic and interdisciplinary approaches to legal interpretation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Green Banking (GB), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), and Biaya Operasional Pendapatan Operasional (BOPO) on the profitability of Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia during the 2022-2024 period. Employing a quantitative approach and associative research type, the study utilizes secondary data from annual reports of 7 selected Islamic banks, analyzed using STATA 15. The Common Effect Model was identified as the best model. Classical assumption tests indicated normally distributed residuals, no multicollinearity (VIFs < 10), and no heteroskedasticity (Prob > F = 0.5569). The F-test revealed that GB, CAR, and BOPO do not simultaneously influence profitability (Prob > F = 0.0918). However, the t-test showed that Green Banking partially affects profitability (P > |t| = 0.038), while CAR (P > |t| = 0.477) and BOPO (P > |t| = 0.059) do not. The R-squared value of 0.3085 indicates that 30.85% of profitability variation is explained by the independent variables.

Abstract

Employing a quantitative approach and associative research type, the study utilizes secondary data from annual reports of 7 selected Apparel & Luxury Goods companies. The Random Effect Model was identified as the best model3. Classical assumption tests indicated normally distributed residuals (Prob > chi2 = 0.0904), no multicollinearity (VIFs < 10), and no autocorrelation (Prob > F = 0.0612). The F-test revealed that CR, Firm Size, and NPM simultaneously influence CTO (Prob > chi2 = 0.0000)7777. However, the t-test showed that NPM partially affects CTO (P > |t| = 0.000), while CR (P > |t| = 0.962) and Firm Size (P > |t| = 0.139) do not. The R-squared value of 0.3332 indicates that 33.32% of CTO variation is explained by the independent variables, with the remaining 66.68% influenced by other variables outside the model.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Quick Ratio (QR) and Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) on the level of Non-Performing Loan (NPL) at Bank Central Asia (BCA). Quick Ratio is used to measure bank liquidity in meeting short-term obligations, while Debt to Asset Ratio indicates the structure of capital and the risk of bank solvency. The data used is the financial statements of BCA Bank during a certain period which is analyzed using quantitative methods with multiple linear regression techniques. The results showed that Quick Ratio has no significant effect on NPL, while Debt to Asset Ratio has a negative and significant effect on NPL. This indicates that the better the management of the bank's capital structure, the lower the risk of non-performing loans. These findings provide important implications for risk management and liquidity management in the banking sector, especially at BCA Bank.
