Abstract

In the eyes of the public, defamation is seen as resulting in damage such as tarnishing one's reputation, including honor. As a criminal act, defamation is regulated from Article 310 to Article 321 of the Criminal Code and Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions in Article 27 paragraph 3 and Article 45 paragraph 1, which has been amended by Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 19 of 2016 on amendments to Law No. 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions. According to these laws, there are clear criminal imprisonment sanctions for offenders, but current public sentiment does not favor this, and the state desires this matter to be resolved through Restorative Justice, as stipulated in the Indonesian National Police Regulation Number 8 of 2021 concerning the Handling of Criminal Acts Based on Restorative Justice, the Republic of Indonesia Attorney General Regulation Number 15 of 2020 regarding the termination of prosecution based on restorative justice, and the decision of the Director General of the General Courts on the Implementation Guidelines of Restorative Justice (restorative justice) Number 1691/DJU/SK/PS.00/12/2020. From the research findings, it is evident that the majority of the public agrees with the application of Restorative Justice by having the offender compensate the victim for damages, usually in the form of a monetary amount agreed upon by the offender and the victim

Abstract

Indonesia's financial sector is undergoing a transformative shift through the integration of green banking principles, marking a significant stride towards sustainable development and the bolstering of financial integrity. This paper explores the proactive measures taken by Indonesia, including the adoption and adaptation of international initiatives such as the Global Alliance for Banking on Values, Green Development Banks, the Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS), the utilization of blockchain technology, and the implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards. These steps not only align with the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) but are also tailored to meet Indonesia's unique environmental, socio-economic challenges. The commitment of Bank Indonesia and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) to mandate and nurture green banking practices is a testament to the country's dedication to a sustainable future, simultaneously enhancing the financial sector's resilience against crimes like money laundering. The emphasis on transparency and accountability through mandated sustainability reporting emerges as a key strategy in establishing trust and credibility amongst stakeholders. However, challenges in the consistent implementation of green banking practices and sustainability reporting underscore the need for clear, measurable standards and comprehensive education and training. The convergence of environmental sustainability with anti-money laundering efforts epitomizes a synergistic approach to strengthening the financial sector's stability and transparency. This paper concludes that green banking in Indonesia transcends regulatory compliance, embodying a strategic imperative that leverages environmental stewardship as a foundation for secure, transparent, and ethical banking. Indonesia's evolving green banking framework not only contributes to global sustainability efforts but also sets a benchmark for integrating economic growth with environmental conservation, paving the way for a sustainable and prosperous future. This study illuminates Indonesia's role as a pioneer in the fusion of sustainability and financial integrity within the banking sector.

Abstract

This research focuses on developing an E-Registration and Health Services Consultation system using the Agile method, which aims to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of health services. The main objective of this research is to design and implement a system that can make it easier for patients to register and consult online, reduce waiting time, and improve the quality of interactions between patients and health service providers. This research is motivated by the need to overcome the problem of limited access and inconvenience in conventional health services, which often require long waiting times and complicated administrative processes. Agile methods were chosen for their flexibility and adaptivity in software development, allowing development teams to respond quickly to changing user needs and preferences. This research uses an iterative approach, where development is carried out in cycles consisting of planning, design, implementation, testing and evaluation. Data was collected through user satisfaction surveys, interviews with stakeholders, and system performance analysis. The findings of this research indicate that the implementation of the E-Registration and Health Services Consultation system can significantly increase patient satisfaction, with a decrease in average waiting time and an increase in service accessibility. Apart from that, this system also supports better decision making by health service providers through integrated and real-time patient data management. This research makes an important contribution to the development of health information systems, offering valuable insights into the application of Agile methods in the development of responsive and user-centered health care systems.

Abstract

This study compares the implementation of Exponential Moving Average, Weighted Moving Average , and Simple Moving Average in the movement of the Composite Stock Price Index. Through the analysis of historical IHSG data, we found that EMA consistently outperforms WMA and SMA with higher accuracy. This result indicates that the use of EMA, focusing on recent data, can be a more responsive approach to changes in stock market trends. However, this research also highlights the need to consider the weaknesses and limitations of each forecasting method. The implications of these findings can provide valuable guidance for stock market practitioners in investment decision-making. Future research can deepen this analysis by considering additional factors to improve IHSG predictions.

Abstract

Every educational institution must of course have quality and qualified Human Resources (HR). Not only the teaching staff or lecturers, but also need to be supported by competent staff/educational staff so that the "consumers" we serve can achieve maximum satisfaction. In the world of higher education, the consumers referred to here can be students, parents or other parties who collaborate with the university in question. However, considering that almost all activities in higher education are always related to students, the concept of excellent service must also focus on the needs of the students themselves. This research is aimed at answering the question of how excellent service is implemented at XYZ private university and whether the services from the university provide satisfaction to its students. Data collection was carried out using semi-structured interviews with 10 students who were studying in the first semester and 10 other students who had been studying for up to 6 semesters. This classification of informants was carried out to obtain an idea of whether there were differences between the services provided to new students and old students. Apart from that, to see whether there have been any changes made towards better service for students as customers. The results of this research indicate that the A6 aspect of excellent service has not been implemented properly so that it does not provide satisfaction to students who are customers or clients which is very important for the sustainability of a higher education institution.

The method is used to dig the foundations, norms, theories and legal opinions relevant to research issues through inventory and study of primary, secondary, and tertiary law materials. Law No. 1 of 1974 dominated many elements of religion/belief and reality living in society. On the other hand, this Act No. 1 of 1974 seeks to reinforce the principles contained in the Pancasila and the Basic Law of the Republic of Indonesia of 1945. From the point of view of this Act, the change in the age of marriage in Act No. 16 of 2019 is a reform of the marriage law. This reform of the age of marriage does not preclude the provisions of article 2, paragraphs (1) and (2) which stipulate that marriage shall be legally performed according to the law of religion, also must be recorded by the authority.

Abstract

Linguistic differences and cultural norms are often a major source of misunderstanding and tension in digital interactions. Language barriers can reduce the effectiveness of information exchange, while differences in etiquette and communication styles can affect the quality of communication and coordination between cultures. Differences in access to technology also contribute to unequal participation in global digital communication. Therefore, concerted efforts are needed from technology providers and international organisations to create platforms that are more inclusive and responsive to cultural diversity. Improved cross-cultural education and digital literacy are key to addressing these challenges and supporting harmonious interactions online.

Nonverbal communication is a way for humans to communicate without using language aspects. To communicate nonverbally, a person can use two channels, namely the visible channel and the paralingual channel. Nonverbal behavior in an interaction always communicates something. Even though when we meet new people we will communicate verbally, we need to realize that non-verbal communication also occurs and continues along with verbal communication. Even small things like eye movements, facial expressions, clothing, and body movements still influence other people's perceptions of us. First impressions and nonverbal communication are closely related in building other people's perceptions of us and also our perceptions of other people. A literature review was used to collect data and information related to nonverbal communication and its influence on first impression formation.
