Abstract

Technological innovation in the agricultural sector plays an important role in addressing environmental challenges, conservation of production factors, and sustainable agricultural development. This study discusses how modern technologies, such as smart irrigation, precision agriculture, and biopesticides, can protect the agricultural environment through efficient use of natural resources and reduced negative impacts on the ecosystem. In addition, conservation of production factors, including land, water, and energy, is a major focus in ensuring agricultural sustainability. These innovations enable more efficient use of resources, maintain productivity, while minimizing environmental damage. On the other hand, sustainable agricultural development integrates technological aspects with economic and social approaches to ensure farmer welfare and sustainable food production. Environmentally friendly technology plays a role in reducing dependence on chemicals and fossil fuels, and encouraging wise management of natural resources. Thus, technological innovation not only supports agricultural productivity, but also maintains ecosystem balance, ensures resource sustainability, and improves the quality of life of agricultural communities. This study confirms that through the application of appropriate technological innovation, the agricultural sector can become more efficient, productive, and sustainable, meeting global food needs without sacrificing environmental health and the welfare of future generations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities of sociology in the digital society in the contemporary era. Digital society, characterized by advances in information and communication technology, faces various significant challenges including digital inequality, privacy and data security issues, and disruption of social values. Inequality in access to technology deepens social and economic disparities, while privacy and data security issues raise concerns about the misuse of personal information. Disinformation and polarization exacerbated by social media also complicate social and political dynamics. However, digital society also offers great opportunities, such as increased access to information that empowers individuals and groups, and the formation of virtual communities that support solidarity and social innovation. Digital technology facilitates more inclusive political participation and enables new economic and educational models that are more flexible and equitable. This study concludes that despite the complex challenges, the wise use of digital technology can support the formation of a more just, inclusive, and participatory society. Therefore, it is important for stakeholders to manage and optimize digital technology in order to achieve a balance between mitigating risks and utilizing existing potential.

This research aims to critically analyze the influence of social media on the identity construction process of teenagers in the digital era. Through a comprehensive literature review, this study explores the complexities and nuances of the interactions between social media use and adolescent identity development. The research methodology involves a systematic search and in-depth analysis of a variety of academic sources, including scientific journals, books and relevant research reports. These sources are selected based on their relevance, credibility, and novelty to provide a broad understanding of the topic. The research results reveal that social media plays a significant role in adolescent identity formation, offering a platform for self-exploration, expression, and social connection. However, this research also highlights the potential negative consequences of excessive engagement in social media, such as pressure to conform, social anxiety, and the formation of a fragmented identity. Further critical analysis explores the long-term implications of teens' digital footprints on social media, as well as the critical role of digital literacy and online reputation management in navigating this complex landscape. This study emphasizes the need for a collaborative approach involving youth, parents, educators, and society to support healthy identity development in the digital era. This research provides valuable insight into the influence of social media on adolescents' identity construction and highlights the need for comprehensive strategies to empower adolescents to harness the positive potential of social media while addressing its risks. The findings from this literature study provide a strong foundation for further research and the development of effective interventions to support healthy adolescent identity development in the digital era.

This study aims to determine how the influence of self-concept and self-control in reducing aggressive behavior in Islamic boarding school students in Bekasi. This research is a descriptive research with the type of correlational research, the sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with a population of 420 students with a total sample of 99 people. The instrument used in this study used a questionnaire in the form of a scale which refers to the self-concept scale measuring instrument, namely the Tennessee self-concept scale (TSCS) compiled by Fitts (1971) a scale adapted from Averill (1973) Aggression Questionnaire Buss and Perry (1992). The results of the study showed that there was no effect between self-concept and self-control in reducing the aggressive behavior of students at the boarding school. It was found that the significance coefficient on the self-concept variable was 0.146 with β = 0.150 (or 15.0%). Meanwhile, it is also known that the significance coefficient on the self-control variable is 0.708 with β = (-0.067 or -67%). This shows that the two variables together have no effect on the aggressiveness variable.

Abstract

Disaster resilience depends not only on infrastructure and preparedness, but also on how pro-environmental behavior is integrated into the recovery process. This article discusses the importance of adopting environmentally friendly practices in disaster recovery efforts to create more sustainable resilience. By implementing strategies such as efficient waste management, ecosystem rehabilitation, and responsible use of natural resources, communities can reduce the environmental impacts of disasters and improve their preparedness for future risks. In addition, community participation, government policies, and cross-sectoral collaboration are key to building an environmentally oriented culture of resilience. Through education and community-based programs, awareness of the importance of pro-environmental behavior can be increased, so that disaster recovery focuses not only on physical aspects but also on ecosystem sustainability. By integrating sustainability principles into disaster recovery, communities can create systems that are more resilient and adaptive to environmental changes. This approach not only reduces the risk of future disasters but also supports sustainable development that takes into account the balance between social, economic, and ecological aspects.

Abstract

This research examines the prejudice based on skin color depicted in the film Fruitvale Station (2013) by Ryan Coogler. Utilizing qualitative methods and integrating the intrinsic elements of fiction approach with Nelson Todd and Michael Olson's prejudice theory. The study focuses on Oscar’s characterization as a young African-American man burdened by societal biases, culminating in his unjust death. By not excluding other elements in the intrinsic structure, it is impossible to do so because each element has a close relationship in forming a unified literary work. The research highlights the impact of racial prejudice on Oscar Grant, the main character, who faces systemic injustice and stereotypes despite his efforts to improve his life. The prejudice theory reveals how cognitive, affective, and behavioral dimensions of prejudice contribute to stereotypes and structural inequality. The findings underscore the destructive consequences of racial prejudice on individuals and society. This research confirms that skin colour prejudice in America, as experienced by Oscar Grant, is still a real danger that significantly impacts people's lives. This theme is not only relevant in the context of Oscar Grant, but also highlights the need for deeper social awareness to eliminate prejudice and discrimination
