Abstract

This research is a quantitative study which was analyzed descriptively using regression analysis. This study aims to determine the effect of pedagogic competence and professional competence of teachers on the learning motivation of students at Vacational High School 3 Sidrap. Sampling technique using technique Purposive Sampling and research sample is learners at state high school 3 Sidrap as many as 47 people . Data collection techniques through observation, questionnaire (questionnaire) and documentation. The data analysis technique used is analysis descriptive . The research results show t the level of teacher pedagogical competence at Vacational High School 3 Sidrap shows 48.94% of teachers are in the medium category. The level of teacher professional competence shows that 68.09% of teachers are in the high category. The level of learning motivation of students is in the high category of 46.81%. The pedagogical competence and professional competence of teachers have an effect simultaneous on the learning motivation of students at SMK Negeri 3 Sidrap by 72.7%.

Abstract

The life of modern society is busy every day with work, going to work in the morning and coming home in the afternoon, even late at night. In addition, they usually pay little attention to eating and physical activity, even though most of the work in the office is done sitting down, so that the person is physically inactive. Gowa Regency, this study used a descriptive research method which is a method for examining the status of human groups, an object, a set of conditions, a system of thought, or a class of events at the present time. This research was carried out in Kab. Gowa. The collection of physical fitness data is carried out using a standardized test, namely the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test (TKJI). TKJI is divided into 4 age groups, namely: 6-9 years, 10-12 years, 13-15 years, and 16-19 years. In this study, the research subjects were Insan Cendekia SMA, totaling 20 people. The instruments used in this study were to measure a healthy lifestyle and measure the level of physical fitness of Gowa Cendekiawan High School students. The number of players in each rating category obtained by players is very good 0%, good 25%, enough 55%, less 20% and very less 0%. Based on the results of the normality analysis, it can be seen that the normality test data is normally distributed. This is evidenced by the Kolmogorov-Smirnov sig value greater than α = 0.05 (0.279 > 0.05) and the Shapiro-Wilk Sig value greater than α = 0.05 (0.807 > 0.05. If if the Sig value is less than α=0.05 then the data is not normally distributed whereas if the Sig value is greater than the value α=0.05 then the data is normally distributed.The results of a healthy lifestyle survey are that the category is always in accordance with a healthy lifestyle 0% , often 95%, sometimes 5% and never 0%.The results of the correlation value of the relationship between a healthy lifestyle and the level of physical fitness is 0.126, meaning that the level of the relationship is quite close.With the results of the analysis above, there is a relationship between a healthy lifestyle and a level of fitness physical high school scholars, Gowa regency.

Abstract

This study seeks knowledge about the interest in entrepreneurship of SMK students in Makassar City with several variables namely: 1) How is the level of entrepreneurial knowledge on students' interest in entrepreneurship, 2) How does the family environment affect students' interest in entrepreneurship, 3) Does the entrepreneurial spirit of students affect students' entrepreneurial interest, 4) Does self-efficacy affect students' entrepreneurial interest. The type of research used is quantitative. With the research sample consisting of students who have received PKK subjects (creative products and entrepreneurship), and have carried out industrial work practices. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire (questionnaire) and documentation. The results of the study are (1) for the level of students' entrepreneurial knowledge on learning interest has results that are not positive in their influence, (2) there is a positive influence between the family environment and students' interest in entrepreneurship, (3) there is a positive influence between students' entrepreneurial spirit and interest in entrepreneurship, (4) there is a positive influence for self-efficacy and students' interest in entrepreneurship

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) The contribution of career guidance to job readiness in SMKN 1 Enrekang students; (2) The contribution of industrial work practice experience to the job readiness of SMKN 1 Enrekang students; (3) Contribution of career guidance and experience of industrial work practices to job readiness in SMKN 1 Enrekang students. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research, analyzing data systematically using simple regression analysis, and multiple regression analysis. Data collection techniques are interviews and questionnaires. Based on the results of data analysis, the career guidance variable has an influence of 12.96% on job readiness, the industrial work practice variable has an influence of 4.88% on job readiness, the magnitude of Adjusted R² is 0.336. This means that 33.6% of job readiness variables can be explained by independent variables, namely career guidance, work motivation, and industrial work practices

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) The effect of workshop management on learning motivation, 2) The effect of workshop management on practical skills, and 3) The effect of workshop management on learning motivation and practical skills of students at SMKN Bulo. The variable in this study is workshop management as the independent variable, with the dependent variable being students' motivation to learn practical skills. Data collection techniques used two ways, namely questionnaires and documentation. The sample in this study was class XII students with a total of 31 students. Data analysis techniques using the t test. The results of the study show that: (1) The coefficient of determination R Square is 0.172 which implies that the effect of workshop management on learning motivation is 17.2. (2) The coefficient of determination R Square is 0.156 which implies that the effect of workshop management on practical skills is 15.6%. Distribution t table obtained 2.048. So by looking at the significance value and comparing between t table and t count, we get a significance of 0.028 <0.05 and t count > from t table, namely 4.133 > 2.01174. The hypothesis is accepted. (3) The results of the F test (simultaneous) show that the significance value of the influence of workshop management on learning motivation and practical skills is 0.006 <0.05 and the F count > F table is 6.259 > 2.95. The hypothesis is accepted, there is an influence of workshop management on learning motivation and practical skills simultaneously.

Abstract

Accidents caused by improper use of electricity have been widely aired on TV media and On Line media. To prevent this, it is hoped that people who install electrical installations must be certified and are expected to know about how IoT-based energy-efficient control devices work. This research aims to: 1) To create an Energy-Saving Electrical Device Control System Software in IoT-Based Buildings that functions to control the use of electrical energy in a building with the help of a Smartphone, 2) produce an Energy-Saving Control System Device using the software that has been created, 3) To create an Interface and Application of the Internet Of Things (IoT) Based Energy Saving Control System device with the help of a Smartphone that functions to control electrical devices in buildings, both from a short distance, and remotely. Data collection in this study uses interview techniques with control experts, literature techniques, and direct measurement techniques of the control devices used. The data analysis method used in this research is the logical method, based on the Internet of Things (IoT) based control system. The results showed that: 1) The Internet Of Things (IoT)-based Energy Saving Control System Software created has functioned properly, this is evidenced by the functioning of all control systems, both in the safety system (MCB), as well as for various controlled loads, 2). The Internet Of Things-based Energy Saving Control System device made, has functioned properly, this is evidenced in the research trial using a Smartphone, 3). Interface and Control System Applications based on the Internet of Things have functioned properly, because they have been able to control electrical equipment devices contained in a building according to design.

Abstract

The katinting machine servicing training was held in Rea Village (Bajoe hamlet), Binuang District, Polewali Regency with the aim of providing participants with the skills and knowledge needed in repairing katinting engines in an effective and practical way so that fishing communities can carry out maintenance and repair symptoms of damage to their katinting engines, especially damage that occurs suddenly such as damage to the fuel system and ignition system. The target audience for this training program are fishing communities, including owners and tenants of katinting engines and have the potential to disseminate knowledge or skills to other fishermen who do not have time to participate in the training. The learning model uses the Observe, Imitate, and Do method approach or the ATM method (Observe, Imitate, Do). The benefits of observing are that participants will understand the problem in depth before moving on to the improvement process, through imitation of corrective steps, participants will have concrete examples of how improvements should be made, which facilitate their understanding and reduce errors in implementation, and by carrying out “Direct Experience” participants can apply their knowledge and skills in real situations. This will increase their confidence in facing technical challenges. Overall, training using the ATM method provides significant benefits for participants, because they have the skills needed to repair the katinting engine more efficiently and effectively. The observation and imitation process will help accelerate learning, while the "Doing" stage provides practical opportunities to test and hone the participants' repair abilities, this is what makes the trainees enthusiastic in participating in the training series until the end of the implementation.

Abstract

Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is a multivariate statistical analysis method that combines regression analysis with factor analysis. SEM can be used to describe simultaneous linear relationships between observed variables (indicators) and variables that cannot be directly measured (latent variables). In the development of covariance-based SEM, there are still weaknesses based on parametric assumptions that must be met in regression analysis, and one of the classic assumptions that must be met is the assumption that the data is normally distributed. Partial Least Square (PLS) is one solution or alternative method of model estimation to manage SEM modeling with reflective or formative indicators. PLS was created to overcome the limitations of the SEM method. Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) is a powerful analysis method because it allows structural equation modeling with the assumption that the data used does not have to be normally distributed, SEM-PLS can use a relatively small sample size, and the indicators used are reflective, formative, or a combination of both. This study aims to determine the effect of latent variable indicators, namely public service expenditure, economy, health, and education on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in each district/city in South Sulawesi Province in 2022. The indicators used for each latent variable are Public services (employee expenditure, goods and services expenditure, capital expenditure, other expenditure), Economy (goods and services expenditure, capital expenditure), Health (employee expenditure, goods and services expenditure, capital expenditure), Education (employee expenditure, goods and services expenditure, capital expenditure, other expenditure). The results of the study show that the other expenditure indicator on the latent variable of public services and the other expenditure indicator on the latent variable of Education are excluded in the study because they do not pass the loading factor test. The model equation obtained is GRDP = 0.052 Economy - 0.087 Health + 0.321 Education + 0.706 Public Services. The R2 value obtained from the model equation is 0.982, which means that the latent variables of public service expenditure, economy, health, and education can explain the latent variable of GRDP by 98.2%. The latent variables that significantly influence the model equation are public service expenditure and education.

Abstract

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, many learning methods have been developed so that the teaching and learning process continues, including Self-Directed Learning. Self-Directed Learning is a learning model used by teaching staff to develop student skills because it emphasizes responsibility for managing learning objectives independently. Self-directed learning gives learners the freedom and autonomy to decide what, why, how and where they want to learn. The pupose od this study is to see the quality of the Self-Directed Learning learning model reviewed through a literature review.A Literature review are the process of collecting relevant articles from 2010-present. From the tens of articles obtained, we have selection and data extraction that fit the purposes of this reseaech. In the finalization of the article are based on the object and the approach.Based on the findigs of this research project, elf-Directed Learning is widely used to assess students' level of competence and initiative in learning and to enhance teachers' creativity in presenting learning materials. The results of this study suggest that the learning method can improve student learning outcomes, as be proven by results above the average pass threshold, and is highly adaptable to improve student competence on independent learning.The contribution of this study is to provide guidance to educators and researchers on self-directed learning methods of learning that are appropriately applied to enhance student learning, especially in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Also, when learning, there is also a view that focusing only on the learning object can be directed to the learning subject.

Abstract

Forming the character of a student who has a critical nature towards various issues of art and how to understand, respond and provide comments on the works of art they encounter, can be started through Art Criticism courses taught at universities. Basically, the knowledge about art criticism obtained by students can be used as a bridge between artists as creators of works of art and critics as reviewers, so that a dialogue occurs between works of art created by artists and observers (appreciators). The Art Criticism course not only provides a theoretical basis for the concept of Art Criticism but shapes a student's attitudes, behavior and mindset. This is a capital investment to prepare students to start activities in their lives after studying at university. Through the integration of the experience, skills and knowledge they have acquired, students can develop themselves to become art observers or art critics. This research aims to evaluate the suitability of the Art Criticism textbook with the criteria for a good textbook prepared by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The product evaluated in this research is teaching material in the form of an Art Criticism textbook. The Art Criticism course is one of the mandatory courses for students of the Fine Arts Education study program, FSD Fine Arts Education study program, Makassar State University. This research evaluates the teaching materials of the Art Criticism textbook and then measures the appropriateness of the content, appropriateness of presentation, language and source material.
