Abstract

School is an institution that operates in the field of education which is one of the critical components for producing and creating citizens who have good attitudes, are responsible, disciplined, and useful for their nation and country, by what is expected from national education. This research aims to determine student discipline, the internal conditions of the school that influence it, and teacher strategies and solutions at MA Palapa Nusantara. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research, data is obtained by observing, interviewing, and documenting. The validity of the researcher's data uses triangulation techniques. Data analysis was carried out in four stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the research show that the learning discipline students at MA Palapa Nusantara face several problems as follows: (1) students arrive late, (2) not complete assignments on time, (3) not pay attention to lessons, some students don't bring school equipment, and outside of class there are still students who don't make good use of their free time or breaks. Internal conditions that influence student learning discipline at MA Palapa Nusantara include (1) consistent school policies, (2) supportive school culture, (3) parental involvement, and (4) relationships between teachers and students. The teacher's strategy for improving students' learning discipline is by giving rewards, giving praise, giving punishment, advice, and teachers giving good examples to students.

Abstract

The library is a means of learning that can be a force to educate the nation. Libraries have an important role as a bridge to the mastery of knowledge and a fun and refreshing place for recreation. Libraries make an important contribution to the disclosure of science information. Meanwhile, the library is the heart of academic activity, because with a library, data or information can be obtained which can be used as a basis for the development of knowledge. This research was carried out to 1) To find out how library services increase the interest and reading of STIT Palapa Nusantara students, 2) To find out the extent to which STIT Palapa Nusantara library services have increased interest in reading. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation methods. The subjects of this research are the Head of the Library, and students of STIT Palapa Nusantara. The results of this research show that. From the entire series of data collection processes, the author draws several things that are facts about library services in increasing students' interest in reading at the Tarbiyah Palapa Nusantara College of Science, including the lack of attention from the school to improving library services, starting from the lack of book collections, inadequate facilities. adequate, library staff who are able to serve every visitor's needs, and poor library management processes by the head of the library have the effect of increasing students' reading interest in all forms of school library services. It is certain that this condition greatly influences students' interest in making the school library a one of the places to go when you need reading material or doing assignments.

Abstract

Marketing strategy training for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in Tembere Hamlet, Batu Nampar Village, aims to improve the understanding and ability of UMKM actors in marketing products effectively and efficiently. This training is designed to provide insight into the importance of digital marketing, the use of social media, and community-based marketing strategies to expand market reach and increase the competitiveness of local products. Through interactive counseling methods and direct practice, participants are expected to be able to identify market potential, design appropriate marketing strategies, and optimize existing resources. The expected results of this training are increased participants' knowledge and skills in designing marketing strategies that can accelerate the growth and sustainability of their businesses. This training is expected to have a positive impact on improving the local economy in Tembere Hamlet, by strengthening the presence of UMKM in a wider market.

Abstract

In this globalization era, teachers have to provide mesmerizing method or strategy in order to have brilliant way of teaching and learning process. Therefore, this research and community outreach (PKM) was aimed to assist mentoring about developing students’ English language particularly speaking skill for the students of MTs. Nurul Islah Beleka. This activity was intended to increase students’ motivation in relation to learning English well. Not only is that but a mesmerizing method or strategy also will be more effective to make higher quality of students’ comprehension especially their speaking skill by using Immersion as a method. The PKM team did four steps such as planning, action. Closing activity, and evaluating activity. The result of this research and community outreach (PKM) was based on Brown (2001) that there are 7 indicators which indicates the quality of students’ speaking skill but only 6 indicators that the students reach for instances they were able to add their vocabulary, arrange their grammar, speak fluently, speak with good pronunciation, indicating a comprehension, and also they are capable to produce high quality of intonation. Those result above, was the outcome of using the Immersion strategy.

Abstract

Sustainable chemistry education requires innovative approaches that connect learning materials to real-life contexts while fostering environmental awareness. One promising strategy is the utilization of household waste as a source of learning materials. This study aimed to develop a chemistry learning model based on household waste and to analyze its effects on students’ conceptual understanding, creativity, and environmental responsibility. The research employed a pre-test and post-test design with the same group. Quantitative data were obtained through conceptual understanding tests, while qualitative data were collected through classroom observations and in-depth interviews. Data analysis involved calculating the N-gain to measure learning improvement and interpreting qualitative findings for deeper insights. The results revealed a significant increase in students’ conceptual understanding, with average N-gain scores categorized as medium to high. Qualitative findings further indicated that students were more motivated, perceived the learning as contextual and meaningful, and demonstrated enhanced critical thinking skills and creativity. Integrating household waste into chemistry lessons proved relevant to the demands of 21st-century scientific literacy and showed potential to support sustainable education by promoting environmentally responsible attitudes. These findings highlight the importance of locally contextualized strategies in strengthening academic achievement while simultaneously shaping students’ character, suggesting broader adoption in chemistry education practices.

Abstract

The digital da'wah training for the youth of Hudallah Mosque in Kondok was motivated by the low utilization of social media as an effective medium for da'wah, leading to the aim of improving participants’ digital literacy and content production skills. The method used was participatory training involving 30 youths as participants, consisting of material presentations, content creation practice, publication simulations, and evaluations; data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively. The results showed a significant increase in digital knowledge, da'wah content creation skills, and consistency in managing the mosque’s social media accounts after attending the training. In conclusion, the training proved effective in strengthening participants’ competencies and encouraging the formation of a sustainable digital da'wah team, thereby meeting the needs of da'wah in the technological era.
