Abstract

Education plays a very important role in forming an equal and just society, especially in promoting gender equality. In a modern society that is increasingly developing and plural, the issue of gender equality becomes very relevant, considering the persistence of gender inequality that still affects various sectors of life, such as economics, politics, and social. Therefore, education, both formal and non-formal, has great potential to address gender inequality and create a more inclusive society. Education not only functions as a means to gain knowledge, but also as an agent of social transformation that can shape individual views and behaviors towards gender issues. This article uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to review the existing literature on the role of education in promoting gender equality. This study highlights various findings on how educational curricula, educational policies, and the role of educators can contribute to achieving gender equality. The results of this study indicate that although education has played an important role in promoting gender equality, there are still major challenges to be overcome, such as the influence of gender stereotypes in the curriculum, unequal access to education, and the lack of policies that support gender inclusivity in many countries.

Abstract

This study adopts a library research method to analyze the paradigm shift of millennial women's religiosity in urban society. Through the exploration of relevant literature on religiosity, urbanization, technology, and gender dynamics, this research seeks to understand how millennial women adapt their religious beliefs and practices in the context of modern life. The main findings of this study show that millennial women in urban environments are starting to shift from traditional religiosity to a more personal, flexible, and more suitable form of religiosity that suits their contemporary lifestyle. This shift is influenced by a number of factors, including urbanization that causes changes in the social environment, technological advancements that facilitate access to information and interaction, and the influence of social media that allows women to shape and spread their own narratives of religiosity. In addition, the demands of gender roles also play an important role in how millennial women navigate their religious lives amid various social and family responsibilities. Millennial women not only function as recipients of religious values, but also as agents of change who are active in shaping and updating religious practices that are more inclusive and relevant to the challenges of the times. Thus, this study not only makes a theoretical contribution to the understanding of millennial women's religiosity, but also opens up opportunities for further empirical research to delve deeper into the dynamics of religiosity in urban society.

Abstract

Community-based tourism (CBT) has become an alternative approach that aims to address the negative impacts of mass tourism on the environment, culture, and local economy. This concept places local communities as the main actors in the management of tourist destinations, which not only strengthens their role in decision-making but also provides direct economic benefits. Thus, CBT has great potential to improve people's welfare while minimizing ecosystem damage and degradation of cultural values. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to evaluate the successful implementation of CBT in various global destinations and examine the challenges faced by local communities in maintaining the sustainability of this model. This article analyzes more than 50 related literature to explore how CBT can be effectively applied as a long-term solution. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the CBT approach is able to balance tourism growth with environmental conservation and cultural preservation. However, challenges such as limited community capacity, lack of government support, and the threat of commercialization must be addressed through inclusive and collaborative policies. This article concludes with strategic recommendations for the development of sustainable community-based tourism.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Indonesian language learning in developing students' critical thinking skills at SMP 16 Jambi City. Using a qualitative approach, this study explores how Indonesian language learning can contribute to developing critical thinking skills through direct interaction with students and teachers. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and document analysis, which were then analyzed to identify relevant patterns and themes. The results of the study indicate that Indonesian language learning has great potential in developing students' critical thinking skills. Learning strategies such as the use of texts, discussions, debates, and argumentative writing have proven effective in improving critical thinking skills. Students are trained to identify main ideas, evaluate arguments, and design coherent and evidence-based argument structures. However, there are several obstacles faced, such as time constraints and differences in student motivation in participating in literacy activities. Therefore, further efforts are needed to overcome these obstacles, such as teacher training, providing relevant teaching materials, and utilizing digital technology. With a more holistic approach, Indonesian language learning can be a more effective tool in developing students' critical thinking skills, which contributes to improving the overall quality of education.
