Abstract

The Sambas Malay Community is a group of indigenous people from West Kalimantan who inhabit most of the Sambas Regency, Bengkayang Regency and Singkawang City. Sambas Malay culture has its roots since the founding of the Sambas Sultanate, similar to other Islamic kingdoms in Kalimantan which are also included in the Malay group. This article uses a literature study method with the aim of investigating the development of the Malay ethnic group in West Kalimantan. Kinship relations among the Sambas Malay community in West Kalimantan are greatly influenced by factors such as location of residence, communication, emotional aspects, and so on. Most of the Malay Sambas people in West Kalimantan have a variety of livelihoods, one of which is rice farming. In some areas of Sambas, the Malay population of Sambas depends on rice farming as the main source of income for their families. Customs and culture in the Sambas Malay ethnic community in West Kalimantan include various traditions such as betangas, plain flour, bepapas, antar ajong, and so on.

Abstract

This research is a literature study which aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the traditional and cultural traditions of the Dayak people, an indigenous ethnic group in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. The Dayak tribe is known to have rich cultural diversity, including in terms of belief systems, traditional ceremonies, tiwah ceremonies, and their unique way of life. This literature study will collect and analyze various literary sources, including books, journal articles, and official documents that are relevant to the traditional traditions and culture of the Dayak tribe. The collected data will be analyzed to identify patterns, developments and important aspects of Dayak culture, as well as how their culture has interacted with modernization and social change. It is hoped that the results of this literature study will provide a deeper understanding of the cultural diversity of the Dayak tribe.

Abstract

Currently, the reality of a lifestyle that tends to be consumptive, especially coupled with the increasing prices of basic daily necessities due to the very fast rate of economic inflation, makes everyone want to achieve everything in a practical and instant way or according to them easily. things to do include gambling. Gambling is a criminal act, namely risking a certain amount of money where the party who wins will get the entire bet. Gambling can also be referred to as a matter of chance, gambling can be detrimental to society and the nation's moral values. This crime also causes public order, peace and security to be disturbed. Apart from that, the influence of gambling not only affects adults, but the impact of gambling also has an effect on children.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the application of Ki Hajar Dewantara's theory in learning in elementary schools. Ki Hajar Dewantara is an Indonesian education figure who has an innovative view of the learning process. This article examines innovative educational practices contained in Ki Hajar Dewantara's theory in the elementary school environment. The research methods used include interviews with teachers and school principals, as well as analysis of documents related to curriculum and teaching methods. The collected data was analyzed using a qualitative approach to understand the context and essence of educational practice. The results of this research show that Ki Hajar Dewantara's theories have a positive impact in increasing learning innovation in elementary schools. Innovative educational practices such as character development, holistic approaches, and student empowerment are seen to be realized in the implementation of this theory. This research contributes to enriching understanding of the application of Ki Hajar Dewantara's theory in the context of basic education. The implications of these findings can be the basis for improving education policies and developing teachers to more effectively implement innovative approaches in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the implementation of Ki Hajar Dewantara education theory at the basic education level, especially at SD Negeri Ngudirejo 1, Jombang District, focusing on learning practices and their impact on improving the quality of basic education. Ki Hajar Dewantara, as an Indonesian education figure, is known for his contribution to the development of holistic and humanist education. This study uses a qualitative approach with classroom observation methods, interviews with teachers, and document analysis to collect data on learning practices related to the theory of Ki Hajar Dewantara. The results showed the implementation of various aspects of Ki Hajar Dewantara theory in learning practice at SD Negeri Ngudirejo 1. Teachers adopt principles such as freedom of learning, stage play is stage learning, and empowerment of learners. In addition, this study reveals the positive impact of the implementation of the Ki Hajar Dewantara theory on improving the quality of basic education, both in terms of learning outcomes and character development of students. The application of Ki Hajar Dewantara theory in learning practice at SD Negeri Ngudirejo 1 has a positive impact in forming students who are more independent, creative, and have strong character. These findings contribute to the understanding of educational practices in accordance with the principles of Ki Hajar Dewantara and reinforce the urgency of applying the theory in improving the quality of basic education in Indonesia. The implications of this research can also be the basis for the development of education policies that are more oriented towards holistic and humanist approaches advocated by Ki Hajar Dewantara.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the insight essence of KH. Ahmad Dahlan and its relevance to the world of modern education as a pioneer of education. The research was qualitatif approach in the form of library research. The collection technique is by documentation, document analysis. The technique of analyzing descriptive data is verification and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are the educational thinking of KH. Ahmad Dahlan combines religious knowledge and general knowledge. Teacher exchange, long life long education, teacher competence, teacher learning program. Abstract

This study is to further illustrate how to increase student independence using Montessori learning modules. This study applies a type of literary study research. This study was conducted by examining other research related to how to increase the independence of elementary school students by describing, explaining and presenting related research and then drawing conclusions. The conclusions of this research are 1) the need for learning that is specifically designed to increase student independence, 2) teachers need to provide learning resources, 3) the need for collaboration between students, teachers and parents in order to achieve optimal educational goals.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the value of character and example taught by K.H. Ahmad Dahlan to grade 2 students of SD Negeri Sadang, Sidoarjo Regency. This research method uses qualitative research methods with descriptive qualitative research types, the subject of this research is 25 grade 2 elementary school students at SD Negeri Sadang, Taman District, Sidoarjo Regency. Data collection techniques use observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results of this study show that there are several character values of K.H Amad Dahlan instilled, the results of the study show that there are 4 character values and examples instilled in grade 2 students by SD Negeri Sadang Taman District, Sidoarjo Regency, namely religious, nationalist, honest and integrity values, education karam The instilled in SD Negeri Sadang, Taman District, Sidoarjo Regency instilled character education in accordance with the teachings of K.H. Ahmad Dahlan.

Abstract

In the background context, the Osing Tribe, an ethnic group in East Java, Indonesia, has been a custodian of rich cultural wisdom. This article explores important aspects of Osing life and identity, focusing on history, cultural values, traditions, and preservation challenges. Through a literature review approach, we gather and analyze various relevant sources to highlight the uniqueness of Osing culture and their preservation efforts. From ritual traditions to belief systems, we find that the Osing exhibit a close relationship between humans, nature, and spirituality in their daily lives. Despite facing pressures from globalization and modernization, Osing cultural preservation efforts continue through local community initiatives and external support. Our conclusion emphasizes the importance of appreciation and support for the sustainability of Osing culture as an integral part of Indonesia's cultural wealth. Thus, the article underscores the need to preserve and understand the valuable heritage of the Osing tribe for a sustainable future.

Abstract

Bugis tribal culture is a very complex reality in the lives of Indonesian people. The Bugis tribe, as part of the Deutero Malay group, came to the archipelago after the first wave of migration from mainland Asia, especially Yunan. The name "Bugis" comes from "To Ugi," which refers to the Bugis people. La Sattumpugi, the first king of the Chinese Kingdom in Pammana, Wajo Regency, played a key role in Bugis history. The epic story "La Galigo," the world's greatest literary work, depicts the life journey of Sawerigading, We Cudai's husband, and creates the cultural foundation of the Bugis people. The Bugis community formed several classical kingdoms, such as Luwu, Bone, Wajo, Soppeng, Suppa, Sawitto, Sidenreng, and Rappang. However, the Bugis tribe has a marriage relationship with the Makassar and Mandar tribes. Currently, Bugis people are spread across various districts, creating a transitional area between Bugis and Makassar and Mandar. The Luwu Kingdom is considered to be one of the oldest kingdoms along with Cina, Mario, and Siang. History in the Bone region records seven generations of chaos, which was overcome by the To Manurung figure, known as Manurungnge ri Matajang, who was appointed Arumpone and formed the legislative council "ade pitue."
