Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation and work environment on employee performance at PT. Infomedia Nusantara Digital Helpdesk Peruri Division, South Jakarta. The research employs a quantitative method with an associative approach, focusing on two independent variables—motivation and work environment—and their impact on employee performance as the dependent variable. Data was collected through a survey of 58 employees using a closed-ended questionnaire. The results show that both motivation and work environment have a significant positive impact on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. Motivation contributes 51.6% to the improvement of employee performance, while the work environment contributes 33.2%. Simultaneously, the two variables together account for 52.8% of the variation in employee performance, indicating that a combination of high motivation and a supportive work environment can significantly enhance employee performance. The study concludes that improving these factors can result in better organizational outcomes and provides recommendations for enhancing employee motivation and optimizing the work environment to foster productivity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Net Profit Margin and Debt to Asset Ratio on the stock price of PT Blue Bird Tbk from 2011 to 2023. A quantitative method was used to analyze these variables both partially and simultaneously, as well as to identify which variable has the most significant impact on the stock price. Based on the data analysis, the results indicate that the Debt to Asset Ratio does not have a significant partial effect on the company’s stock price. Simultaneously, this variable also shows no meaningful impact. The contribution of both variables, Net Profit Margin and Debt to Asset Ratio, to the stock price is 27.7%, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors not discussed in this study.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Current Ratio (CR) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on Return on Assets (ROA) at PT Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna Tbk over the period from 2013 to 2022. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, the research aims to clarify the relationship between CR, DER, and ROA in evaluating the company’s financial health and profitability. The findings reveal that CR does not have a significant individual impact on ROA, indicating that the company’s short-term liquidity does not directly affect its asset profitability. Conversely, DER has a significant negative impact on ROA, suggesting that higher debt relative to equity reduces asset returns, primarily due to increased interest burden. Simultaneously, CR and DER together have a significant impact on ROA, highlighting the need for balanced management of liquidity and leverage to maximize profitability. This study provides insights for company management and investors in assessing the financial strategies related to liquidity and debt structure to improve asset returns.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine the influence of training and work environment on employee performance at PT Samwon Copper Tube Indonesia in Tangerang Regency, Banten. The method used is quantitative. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling, meaning all members of the population are used as the sample, resulting in a sample of respondents in this study. Data analysis was conducted using validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, regression analysis, correlation coefficients, determination coefficients, and hypothesis testing. The study results indicate that training has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a regression equation showing a direct relationship. The coefficient of determination shows that part of the variation in employee performance can be explained by the training variable, and hypothesis testing results indicate a positive and significant influence of training on employee performance at PT Samwon Copper Tube Indonesia in Tangerang Regency, Banten. The work environment also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a regression equation showing a direct relationship. The coefficient of determination shows that part of the variation in employee performance can be explained by the work environment variable, and hypothesis testing results indicate a positive and significant influence of the work environment on employee performance at PT Samwon Copper Tube Indonesia in Tangerang Regency, Banten. Training and work environment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a regression equation indicating the contribution of these two variables together. The coefficient of determination shows that a large portion of the variation in employee performance can be explained by training and work environment, while the remainder is influenced by other factors. Hypothesis testing results indicate a positive and significant influence of training and work environment simultaneously on employee performance at PT Samwon Copper Tube Indonesia in Tangerang Regency, Banten.

A quantitative approach was employed, with a saturated sampling technique applied to a population of 70 employees. Data was collected via a questionnaire that was validated and tested for reliability, ensuring the accuracy of the measurements. Statistical tests, including multiple linear regression and classical assumption testing, were utilized to analyze the data. Results indicate that both work discipline and the physical work environment positively and significantly impact employee performance, individually and collectively. The findings highlight the importance of maintaining high work discipline and optimizing the work environment to enhance employee performance. These insights serve as valuable guidance for cooperative management in establishing policies that foster a disciplined and supportive workplace conducive to achieving organizational goals.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of ownership structure on firm value with financial performance as a mediating variable in companies listed in the LQ45 index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2020-2024 period. The independent variables consist of institutional ownership and managerial ownership, while the mediating variable is financial performance measured using Return on Assets (ROA). Firm value, as the dependent variable, is measured using Price to Book Value (PBV). Using multiple linear regression methods and the Sobel test, the study found that managerial ownership significantly influences firm value, whereas institutional ownership does not show a significant impact. Additionally, financial performance does not act as a mediator in the relationship between ownership structure and firm value. The findings of this study provide important implications for corporate governance in Indonesia, particularly in managing ownership structures to enhance financial performance and maximize firm value.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the factors that influence the interest of the younger generation in working in the rice farming sector in Polokarto District, Sukoharjo Regency. The method used in this research is the binary logistic regression model, which is a logistic regression with two categories or binomial on its dependent variable. The data in this study were obtained from primary and secondary data. Secondary data were obtained from relevant agencies or government institutions, including data on the number of labor forces and rice farmers in 2022 in Polokarto District. Primary data were obtained directly from the labor force working in the rice agriculture sector in Polokarto District. Descriptive analysis through observation techniques, in-depth interviews (wawancara mendalam). The population in this study was conducted in the Polokarto District with specific criteria. And the sample consists of 100 rice farmers and non-farmers aged (15-39 years) with a distribution of 20 farmers from each of the five villages (Polokarto, Karangwuni, Wonorejo, Kenokorejo, Bakalan) in the Polokarto District. The results of this study indicate that the variables of Wages, Land Area, and Gender partially have a positive and significant effect on the interest of the younger generation to work in the agricultural sector. The number of dependents has a negative and significant effect, while education does not have an effect on the interest of the younger generation to work in the agricultural sector.
