Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the problem based learning method on improving the learning outcomes of class VII students at SMPN 28 Bintan. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). Data collection techniques use observation, tests and documentation. The research design used is Classroom Action Research with two research cycles. The research subjects were all Class VII B students of SMPN 28 BINTAN for the 2022-2023 academic year, totaling 17 people. The data analysis technique uses the formula for average value, percentage of learning completeness and observation data. From the research results, it was concluded that the research results showed that after the Classroom Action Research was carried out, students' grades experienced positive changes compared to before the action took place. This research contributes to the learning process, especially Islamic Religious Education and other subjects in general.

Abstract

The objective of this article is to explore comprehensively the obligations related to the education of children from the standpoint of Abdullah Nashih Ulwan as portrayed in his publication "Tarbiyatul Aulad Fi Al-Islam", whilst examining the assorted obligations outlined by Ulwan in his publication. This investigation utilizes a qualitative approach concentrating on a review of literature, with the intention of capturing the core of Abdullah Nashih Ulwan's ideologies. The research results reveal that Ulwan recognizes seven categories of obligations towards children's education, encompassing faith-based, ethical, physical, cognitive, emotional, communal, and sexual education. This educational process can be executed both in the familial setting, where both parents act as instructors, and in the school atmosphere, where educators assume a principal role in the educational journey.

Abstract

Artikel ini menyajikan gambaran umum tentang pemikiran M. Amin Abdullah mengenai integrasi agama dan sains, dan bagaimana perspektifnya dapat diterapkan dalam konteks akademik dan sosial. M. Amin Abdullah adalah seorang cendekiawan Indonesia yang dikenal karena upayanya dalam mengintegrasikan agama dan sains. Dalam pandangannya, kedua domain ini tidak seharusnya dipandang sebagai entitas yang saling bertentangan, tetapi justru sebagai dua sisi dari mata uang yang sama yang dapat saling melengkapi dan memperkaya. Dengan pendekatan epistimologi integrasi, multidisiplin, kontekstual, dan dialogis, Abdullah menunjukkan bahwa agama dan sain dapat bekerja sama untuk mencapai pemahaman yang lebih holistik dan bermanfaat bagi umat manusia. Pendekatan ini tidak hanya relevan bagi dunia akademik, tetapi juga bagi masyarakat luas yang mencari harmoni antara iman dan pengetahuan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana pengaruh metode talaqqi dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas hapalan peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan penggunaan pendekatan library research atau kajian pustaka dengan mengumpulkan data dan literature yang relevan dengan pembahasan. Dari penelitian ini diharapkan para guru yang belum pernah menerapkan metode ini dapat mencoba untuk melakukannya dalam proses pengajaran. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa metode talaqqi telah terbukti efektif dan efesien dalam meningkatkan jumlah hapalan peserta didik.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the influence of PAI teachers' loving attitudes on virtuous student behavior and student learning outcomes at SMK Negeri 2 Mandau. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive method. The sample in this study was taken as 8% of the 290 students of SMK Negeri 2 Mandau for the 2024/2025 academic year and a sample of 30 students was obtained. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, attitude scales, and tests. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence between the PAI teacher's affectionate attitude towards the characterful behavior of students. The higher the PAI teacher's affectionate attitude, the higher the virtuous student behavior. And there is also a positive and significant influence between the PAI teacher's loving attitude on student learning outcomes. The higher the influence of the PAI teacher's loving attitude, the higher the student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Bullying is a problem that often occurs in the educational environment, including at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. This research aims to analyze the role of teachers in overcoming bullying behavior at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Hikmah, Sintang, Sintang Regency. The approach used is qualitative with a case study method. The research results show that teachers have an important role in identifying, preventing and dealing with bullying behavior through various efforts, such as providing character education, building good communication with students and parents, and creating a conducive school environment. Apart from that, cooperation between teachers, madrasah heads and the community is also a key factor in minimizing bullying behavior. This research emphasizes the importance of teacher training and awareness to understand the dynamics of bullying in order to provide appropriate intervention.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the efforts to cultivate leadership character in students through a deep learning approach. The method used in this study is library research with a qualitative approach. For research instruments, the researcher employs observation and documentation, while data analysis is conducted qualitatively. The results indicate that the identified leadership values include innovative attitudes, creativity, justice, wisdom, simplicity, consensus-building, and honesty. These values reflect the qualities exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad Shallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, such as siddiq (truthfulness), amanah (trustworthiness), tabligh (communication), and fathonah (intelligence). Deep learning can be implemented through substantive and reflective approaches. Additionally, this process should be synergized with the roles of Islamic educational institutions, including family, madrasah, and society.

Abstract

Assessment or what is now more commonly referred to as assessment is a series of activities that must be carried out by a teacher in the learning process. So that this learning assessment is used by the teacher to measure the achievement of learning objectives in the classroom. Assessment is an integrated part of the learning process because it provides holistic information and provides feedback for teachers, students and parents/guardians of students to guide them in determining the next learning strategy. Assessment is divided into three major domains, namely the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains. In this paper the author focuses on attitude assessment which aims to provide an overview of the development of an attitude scale assessment instrument that can be used to measure students' affective abilities as seen from the Likert, Thurstone and Guttman scale attitude assessments in PAI subjects. The method used is literature review or library research. From the results of data analysis, it was found that the attitude assessment of the Likert, Thurstone and Guttman scales was very appropriate for use in PAI subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the educational approaches and strategies used by the Prophet Muhammad SAW in conveying Islamic teachings during the Mecca phase. The Mecca period was an important phase in the history of Islamic preaching, during which the Prophet faced complex social, cultural, and political challenges. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using literature review methods, analysing primary sources such as the Quran, hadith, and relevant classical and contemporary literature. The findings reveal that the Prophet's educational strategies in Mecca emphasized the cultivation of faith, character development, and the promotion of values such as monotheism, patience, and noble ethics. The methods employed included a personal (individual) approach, covert (sirriyah) preaching, setting a good example (uswah hasanah), and utilizing a limited social environment such as the house of Arqam bin Abi Arqam as a centre for training. This strategy demonstrated effectiveness in shaping the early generation of Muslims who were resilient and highly committed to Islamic teachings. The educational methods used by the Prophet in Mecca remain relevant for application in contemporary education, particularly in instilling faith and Islamic education, character and moral education for foundational or basic education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of applying the probing prompting learning model on the learning outcomes of eighth-grade students in Islamic Religious Education at SMPN 2 Tanjungpinang. Based on observations, teachers' questions can also stimulate children to improve their learning outcomes, so creativity and diversity in question models are needed to strengthen students' comprehension skills. Meanwhile, based on the questionnaire, it was found that there is an effect on students' learning outcomes with the application of the probing-prompting learning model in the subject of Islamic Religious Education. The calculated value of rxy = 0.434 falls between the values (0.40-0.60). Thus, rxy = 0.434 is greater than the r table at the 5% significance level and the 1% significance level (0.2586 < 0.3357 < 0.434), meaning that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the application of the probing-promoting learning model for eighth-grade students and their learning outcomes at SMPN 2 Tanjungpinang.
