Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in driving economic growth; however, many business owners still face challenges related to business legality, operational management, and the use of digital marketing. This community service activity aims to analyze the obstacles faced by the Tumbas Mindo Café, a micro, small, and medium enterprise located in Laren Subdistrict, Lamongan Regency, in order to increase brand awareness. This assistance program has a positive impact on operational effectiveness and the expansion of promotional reach through support in establishing business legality, as well as the development of written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), which can improve business outcomes by implementing digital marketing strategies via social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. This mentoring can yield results such as established business legality, better-managed social media, and more focused human resource management; when integrated, these elements can enhance the professionalism of business management and strengthen the sustainable competitiveness of micro, small, and medium enterprises.

Abstract

Effective archive management is a cornerstone of good governance, serving as the collective memory and legal accountability framework for state institutions. This community service project aims to modernize the archival system at the West Java Customs Regional Office by transitioning from conventional manual methods to a robust computer-based management system. The initiative is strategically aligned with the Indonesian National Work Competency Standard (SKKNI) No. 39 of 2019, specifically unit O.84ARS00.066.1 regarding computer-based archive storage. The implementation methodology followed a systematic three-stage approach: a preparation stage involving in-depth needs analysis and resource mobilization; an implementation stage encompassing intensive technical training and the deployment of the Nadine and Satu Kemenkeu digital ecosystems; and an evaluation stage to measure system performance and user satisfaction. The theoretical framework of this project incorporates recent literature on digital transformation, highlighting that service quality and system reliability are primary determinants of public trust in e-government ecosystems. Furthermore, the study acknowledges that technical innovation must be balanced with high Public Service Motivation (PSM), as proactive work behavior among archivists is the ultimate catalyst for successful administrative reform. Results indicate a significant transformation in operational efficiency; document retrieval times were reduced from hours to seconds, and the risks associated with physical data degradation were effectively mitigated through centralized data centers and encrypted security protocols. Moreover, the systematic sorting and lifecycle management of trade facility documents, such as KITE and sub-contract approvals, ensured legal compliance and optimized storage resources. This project concludes that the synergy between advanced digital infrastructure and competent, motivated human resources is essential for achieving sustainable, transparent, and accountable public service delivery in the modern era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing a simple digital financial recording system in enhancing financial transparency and decision-making in culinary Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The study was conducted at Lynn’s Kitchen, a growing culinary MSME facing challenges in unstructured and manual financial management. A community-based intervention approach was applied through pre-survey, training sessions, on-site mentoring, and continuous monitoring. The results show significant improvements in financial literacy and technical skills. Participants’ understanding of basic accounting increased from 25% to 82%, while their ability to operate the digital recording system reached 85% with an accuracy level of 90%. In addition, 80% of participants were able to independently prepare simple financial reports. The implementation also had a direct impact on business practices, where the owner began making data-driven decisions related to pricing strategies and cash flow planning. This study demonstrates that a simple and accessible digital financial recording system, combined with intensive mentoring, can effectively improve financial transparency and support better decision-making in small-scale culinary MSMEs.

Abstract

Household financial management often appears simple, yet many homemakers struggle to manage it well, particularly in planning expenses and maintaining accounting records. The members of the PKK (Family Welfare Empowerment) group in Deket Wetan Village, Lamongan Regency, generally still record their finances traditionally and have never attended any training on financial planning or financial reporting. This community service activity aimed to provide training on family financial management and simple accounting recording so that participants could better manage household finances and minimize debt incurred to meet daily needs. The activity was conducted over two days at the Deket Wetan Village hall and was followed by one week of intensive mentoring, employing lecture, discussion, and practice methods. Its effectiveness was measured through a pre-test and a post-test. The results showed a positive response and a clear improvement in participants' understanding, with the average score rising from 65 in the pre-test to 87.5 in the post-test, while 70% of participants were able to prepare simple bookkeeping independently. These findings indicate that training in simple financial recording effectively enhances homemakers' knowledge and skills in managing family finances. Continued training and periodic mentoring, supported by the active role of the village government, are recommended so that the acquired knowledge is applied sustainably in daily life.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the urgency of strengthening international criminal justice in overcoming impunity for international criminals and to examine the effectiveness of the implementation of the 1998 Rome Statute as an instrument of international law in realizing criminal accountability. The research method used is normative juridical research with a statute approach, a conceptual approach, and a case approach. The legal materials used consist of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials that are qualitatively analyzed through legal interpretation. The results of the study show that the Rome Statute of 1998 has provided a comprehensive legal basis for the prosecution of international criminals through the application of the principles of complementarity, individual criminal responsibility, and international cooperation. However, the effectiveness of international criminal justice still faces various obstacles in the form of political intervention, limited jurisdiction, non-compliance of states with cooperation obligations, and the lack of optimal harmonization of national law with the provisions of the Rome Statute. Therefore, strengthening the ICC institution, increasing the commitment of countries in implementing international obligations, and expanding the ratification of the Rome Statute are strategic steps to reduce impunity and realize a more effective, fair, and just international criminal justice system.

Abstract

The financial recording assistance activity for MSMEs in Sumberejo Village, Ambulu District, Jember Regency in August 2025 aims to improve business administration skills through the implementation of the Smart Cashier Application. The methods used include the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation with qualitative-based data analysis. The results of the activity show that MSMEs are able to switch from manual recording to more accurate and structured digital recording. Participants can monitor daily cash flow as well as compile simple financial statements that support business decision-making. The discussion emphasized that mentoring not only provides technical skills, but also forms a new mindset in business management. Technical constraints such as device limitations and differences in initial understanding can be overcome through hands-on methods and intensive guidance. An important finding from this activity is a change in the behavior of MSME actors in managing finances, increasing awareness of transparency, and increasing confidence in running a business. In addition, this activity supports research on the digitalization of MSMEs and shows that community-based interventions are effective in strengthening the foundations of business sustainability. Thus, technology-based assistance is an important strategy to increase the competitiveness of MSMEs at the local level.
