Abstract

Kesum leaves (polygonum minus huds) have many benefits. Kesum leaves contain useful compounds such as alkaloids, flavonoids, and phenolics which can protect against free radicals caused by UV rays and absorb UV rays. This study used the UV-Vis spectrophotometry method. Absorbance was measured at a wavelength of 290-320 nm. The determination of the SPF value is based on the Mansur equation. The test results showed that the ethanol extract of daun kesum (polygonum minus huds) had SPF activity on methanol extract (22.803), 50% ethanol extract (20.0606), 70% ethanol extract (24.36), and 96% ethanol extract (25). ,8416) all belong to the ultra protection class.

Abstract

Instant powder drinks are drinks made from fresh or dry ingredients that are boiled for less than 60 minutes, then added sugar or without sugar and the water is evaporated until sugar crystals or powder are obtained. Fruits and vegetables have many health benefits. This study aims to determine the best formula in terms of the physical quality of the preparation of instant powder drink with a mixture of fruits and vegetables. This research was conducted experimentally using variations in the addition of granulated sugar for each formula. Parameters observed included yield, soluble time, pH, water content and organoleptic tests which included color, aroma and taste. Physical stability test of instant powder was carried out at room temperature for one month, namely on days 0, 7, 14, 21 and 28 days. The results showed that formula 2 was the best formula with a water content value of 2%, pH 6, had a dissolving time of less than 5 minutes and was the most preferred formula by respondents.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic is a non-natural disaster caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus which can be transmitted from human to human through coughing/sneezing droplets (droplets), not through the air. People who are most at risk of contracting this disease are people who have close contact with Covid-19 patients, including those caring for Covid-19 patients, so a new strategy is needed that allows for face-to-face health services to reduce the risk of Covid-19 transmission. Digital health is one of the innovations that can be used to deal with this crisis. Therefore, in an effort to improve health services in crisis conditions, this review article will discuss digital health and its use as an effort to improve health services during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is a systematic review by looking systematically at journals and articles on Google Scholar, Scopus, and PubMed. As a result, seven journals were obtained that met the criteria regarding the use of digital health as a health service in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. With the many types of digital health that exist, it allows more optimal utilization for certain conditions and does not rule out the possibility of using digital health in the future because of the large potential, scalability, and benefits presented. So far digital health is a very safe and good solution for alternative health services during the Covid 19 pandemic.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Plants have many chemical components. There are many treatments using natural ingredients that can be chosen as a solution to overcome the disease. One of the many plants used as traditional medicine is the sugarcane plant (Saccharum officinarum L.) . Sugarcane leaves were extracted by maceration method using 70% ethanol then ttebu extract was added date palm juice in a ratio of 1: 1 and antibacterial testing was carried out against Salmonella typhi bacteria using disc diffusion method in concentration variations of 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%. This study aims to test the antibacterial activity of sugarcane leaf extract against Salmonella typhi bacteria, know the difference in antibacterial activity at several concentrations, and determine the minimum inhibitory level of extract. The results of this study showed a combination of sugarcane leaf extract and date palm juice concentration of 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% did not have an inhibition zone. The conclusion of this study proves that sugarcane leaf extract and date palm juice do not have antibacterial power against Salmonella typhi. Abstract

Cabbage (Brassica oleracea L.) is one of the most common vegetable commodities in Indonesia so cabbage dominates vegetable waste in traditional markets which is used as animal feed. To be developed as a traditional medicinal material, it is necessary to know the content of secondary metabolite compounds qualitatively. This study aims to determine the secondary metabolite compounds from cabbage leaf waste qualitatively through phytochemical screening and Thin Layer Chromatography (KLT) analysis. Extraction was carried out using 95% ethanol solvent by remaseration. Testing the content of secondary metabolites in ethanol extracts of cabbage leaf waste was carried out by phytochemical screening. Furthermore, the KLT test with stationary phase silica GF 254 and mobile phase chloroform: methanol: water with a ratio of 64:50:10. The results of the study were analyzed descriptively. The results obtained extract yield of 3.03%. The ethanol extract of cabbage waste contains saponin and steroid compounds. In the results of KLT analysis, there are 2 spots with Rf 0.75 and 0.875 which are green when observed visually and blue with UV light observation 366 nm which indicates the presence of saponin and steroid compounds. This study shows that the ethanol extract of cabbage leaf waste contains secondary metabolite compounds, namely saponins and steroids.. Keywords : phytochemical, screening, Brassica oleracea L.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Typhoid fever is an easily transmitted disease caused by the bacterium Salmonella typhi. Treatment of typhoid fever still uses antibiotics, namely chloramphenicol. Sugarcane leaves contain bioactive compounds Flavonoids and tannins which act as antimicrobials. This study aims to determine the activity of sugarcane leaves in various doses using the maceration extraction method and the pouring method of cultivating bacteria. The research method used is true experiment design research. This research consisted of extract preparation, NA (Nutrient agar) media preparation, chloramphenicol positive control and Aquades negative control preparation. extract dilution with concentration series of 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, and 100% using distilled water, planting bacteria on media, making MC. Farland, after 24 hours of incubation at 37oC, disc diffusion was planted, and evaluated by measuring the diameter of the clear zone around the bacteria and calculating the inhibition zone. The results of this study showed that sugarcane leaf extract with concentrations of 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, and 100% did not have an inhibition zone. The conclusion from this study proved that sugarcane leaf extract had antibacterial power against Salmonella typhi with an effective concentration when using this type of solvent. the good one.

Abstract

Antioxidants are compounds that have a molecular structure that can provide electrons to free radical molecules and break free radical reaction chains. The purpose of this study was to determine the estimated content of secondary metabolites from Urena Lobata L. flowers ethanolic extract by phytochemical screening method and their antioxidant activity by DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazil) method. Determination of the antioxidant activity of Urena Lobata L. flowers was carried out by observing the absorbance measured at a maximum wavelength of 516.40 nm and extract concentrations of 20 ppm, 40 ppm, 60 ppm, 80 ppm, and 100 ppm and then calculating the IC50 value. The results of the phytochemical screening test showed that the ethanol extract of pulutan flowers contained phenols, alkaloids, flavonoids, terpenoids, tannins and saponins. The results of the antioxidant activity test showed an average IC50 value of 5.337 ppm means it was categorized as a very strong antioxidant.

Abstract

Tanaman Kalakai (Stenochlaena palustris (Burm F.) Bedd) adalah tanaman paku-pakuan yang tumbuh di daerah rawa gambut yang secara umum disebut lahan basah. Berdasarkan studi empiris daun dan batang digunakan oleh suku dayak untuk mengobati anemia, penambah ASI pada ibu menyusui, pereda demam, mengobati sakit kulit, dan juga sebagai pencuci perut. Daun kalakai muda memiliki kandungan metabolit sekunder yaitu flavanoid yang efektif sebagai antioksidan dan menangkal radikal bebas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui apakah ekstrak etanol daun kalakai muda (Stenochlaena palustris (Burm.F.) Bedd) memiliki aktivitas perlindungan tabir surya. Ekstrak etanol daun kalakai muda dibuat larutan induk dengan konsentrasi 1000 ppm, kemudian dilakukan pengenceran dengan variasi konsentrasi 50 ppm, 75 ppm, 100 ppm, 125 ppm, dan 150 ppm. Penentuan nilai SPF dilakukan dengan mengukur absorbansi dari ekstrak etanol daun kalakai muda menggunakan spektrofotometri UV-Vis dengan panjang gelombang antara ±290-320 nm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak etanol daun kalakai muda dengan kategori proteksi ultra berpotensi sebagai tabir surya. Nilai SPF yang diperoleh pada tiap konsentrasi 50 ppm, 75 ppm,100 ppm, 125 ppm dan 150 ppm secara berturut-turut adalah 9,43 (proteksi maksimal); 9,47 (proteksi maksimal); 13,32 (proteksi maksimal); 18,25 (proteksi ultra) dan 21,22 (proteksi ultra).

Abstract

Pengkajian resep merupakan salah satu pelayanan kefarmasian yang bertanggung jawab langsung kepada pasien dengan maksud untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui apakah resep yang berada di instalasi farmasi rawat jalan rumah sakit X sudah sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan no.72 tahun 2016. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan adalah penelitian observasional, data yang di ambil adalah resep resep eksekutif di Instalasi Farmasi Rawat Jalan Rumah Sakit X pada periode bulan Agustus 2022. Didapat hasil persentase kelengkapan aspek nama pasien 100% sejumlah 391 resep, persentase kelengkapan aspek umur pasien 99% sejumlah 388 resep, persentase kelengkapan aspek jenis kelamin pasien 100% sejumlah 391 resep, persentase aspek berat badan pasien 39% sejumlah 152 resep, persentase aspek tinggi badan pasien 0% sejumlah 0 resep, persentase kelengkapan aspek nama dokter 100% sejumlah 391 resep, persentase kelengkapan aspek alamat dokter 97% sejumlah 380 resep, persentase kelengkapan aspek Nomor Surat Ijin Praktik dokter 57% sejumlah 222 resep, persentase kelengkapan aspek paraf dokter 100% sejumlah 391 resep, persentase kelengkapan aspek tanggal resep 99% sejumlah 388 resep, dan persentase kelengkapan aspek ruangan asal resep 97% sejumlah 380 resep.

Abstract

According to Badan Pusat Statistik 2019 for the City of Banjarmasin, dyspepsia ranks 6th with a total of 25,085 cases. At the Puskesmas Gadang Hanyar, dyspepsia is the ten most common disease in 2022, ranking 4th with a total of 790 cases. So that the use of dyspepsia drugs will increase. Therefore it is necessary to look at the pattern of prescribing dyspepsia drugs at the puskesmas to ensure the availability of existing drugs so that they can support safety and ensure their effectiveness. The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of prescribing dyspepsia drugs at the Puskesmas Gadang Hanyar for the period January - March 2023. This research was a descriptive study with retrospective data collection using a purposive sampling technique, obtained a sample of 403 prescriptions. The results showed that the most widely used drug class was the Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI) class of drugs with a percentage of 203 (46.03%), the most widely used type of drug was omeprazole with 164 percentages (37.19%), treatment of dyspepsia The single highest percentage was omeprazole with 140 percentages (38.36%). and the most widely used combination of drugs, namely antacids and omeprazole with a percentage of 13 (34.21%).
