Abstract

This explanatory quantitative research aims to assess and explain whether job satisfaction and job stress have any partial effects on the turnover intention of employees of PT Hashmicro Solusi Indonesia. The independent variables of this research are job satisfaction and job stress, while the dependent variable is turnover intention. From the population of 250 employees from all divisions, 152 people were selected as the respondents, from whom primary data was acquired. The results of the descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression in SPSS version 21 indicate that job satisfaction has a negative and significant effect on the turnover intention and that job stress has a positive and significant influence on the turnover intention. This means that the employees’ turnover intention level is influenced by their job satisfaction and their job stress.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify the effects of employee engagement and work-life balance on the job satisfaction of employees working at the Customer Service Unit of PT PLN (Persero) in Malang. This explanatory research corroborates the causal relationships between its variables through hypothesis testing. Using saturated sampling, all 72 employees of the said unit in Malang City were selected as the respondents. The research instruments were tested for validity and reliability, and the hypotheses were assessed using f test. The data was acquired via Likert-scaled questionnaires and analyzed in SPSS 26. This study finds that employee engagement partially does not influence the job satisfaction, but simultaneously it has significant effects. Then, work-life balance partially and simultaneously has significant effects on the employees’ job satisfaction.

Abstract

Dapur Qonita is a business in Balikpapan that sells seasonings for various dishes. After three years of operation, many customers in other cities required the company to deliver its products to them, but until now Dapur Qonita is not able to meet what they need. The objective of this research is to fulfill the customer requirement, that is making the business able to deliver its products to other cities while maintaining their good condition and flavor until the consumers receive them. This study was conducted by testing the delivery of the products to seven cities outside Balikpapan and by considering their condition whether or not they are well received by the potential customers. the results indicate that the customer requirement, i.e. receiving Dapur Qonita’s product in a good condition, can be well fulfilled by replacing the Thinwall plastic containers with sealed and vacuum containers.   Abstrak Dapur Qonita adalah bisnis yang menjual produk berbagai bumbu masakan di kota Balikpapan. Selama bisnis berjalan kurang lebih 3 tahun banyak pelanggan di luar kota menginginkan agar Dapur Qonita dapat mengirimkan produk bumbunya ke luar kota Balikpapan, tetapi hingga saat ini Dapur Qonita belum mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memenuhi customer requirement agar Dapur Qonita bisa mengirimkan produknya ke luar kota Balikpapan dan bumbu dapat sampai dalam kondisi rasa yang baik serta layak dikonsumsi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menguji coba pengiriman produk ke luar kota Balikpapan di 7 kota berbeda untuk melihat kondisi bumbu ketika sampai di kota tujuan apakah bisa diterima dengan baik atau tidak oleh konsumen potensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan pelanggan mampu dipenuhi untuk mengirimkan produk ke luar kota dapat dipenuhi dengan mengubah bentuk kemasan plastik thinwall menjadi vakum sealed.

Abstract

Sufficient and reliable human resource is crucial for the operation of any business, including printing industry. The objective of this research is to analyze the effects of workplace environment, work motivation and perceived organizational support on employee performance at X4Print Printing & Packaging, a business located in Malang City. Using saturated sampling, all 120 employees of the business were involved. This study uses primary data, which was harvested via Likert-scaled questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. This study finds that workplace environment, work motivation, and perceived organizational support partially and simultaneously have positive effects on employee performance.   Abstrak Dalam menjalankan kegiatan di berbagai industri, dibutuhkan Sumber Daya Manusia yang memadai dan dapat diandalkan dalam bidangnya. Begitu juga dengan industri percetakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan kerja, motivasi kerja, dan perceived organizational support terhadaap kinerja karyawan pada industri percetakan X4Print Printing & Packaging Kota Malang.  Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan di X4Print Printing & Packaging Kota Malang yang berjumlah 120 orangs. Metode pengambilan sampel (sampling) adalah jenuh. Metode analisis data yang gunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Data primer penelitian ini disebarkan melalui kuesioner pada 120 responden (karyawan X4Print Printing & Packaging Kota Malang) yang diukur menggunakan alat ukur skala likert. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja, motivasi kerja, dan perceived organizational support secara parsial dan simultan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how organizational culture and interpersonal communication impact employee performance, focusing on the XYZ company in the oil and gas industry. The research adopts an associative approach using quantitative methods. A sample of 66 respondents was conveniently selected from a population of 152 within the company. The participants, current employees of XYZ company, responded to a Likert scale questionnaire ranging from 1 to 5. Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) was used for validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. Multiple linear regression tests were applied for data analysis, and hypothesis testing was conducted for both partial and simultaneous assessments. Results reveal that organizational culture (X1) has a positive partial and simultaneous influence on employee performance (Y). However, interpersonal communication (X2) does not exhibit a partial or simultaneous impact on employee performance (Y). Notably, both organizational culture (X1) and interpersonal communication (X2) variables positively influence employee performance (Y) when considered both partially and simultaneously.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi dampak budaya organisasi dan komunikasi interpersonal terhadap kinerja karyawan, difokuskan pada perusahaan XYZ di sektor minyak dan gas. Jenis penelitian ini adalah asosiatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel terdiri dari 66 responden yang dipilih secara convenience sampling dari populasi 152 di perusahaan tersebut. Responden adalah karyawan aktif di XYZ. Kuesioner menggunakan skala Likert dengan skor 1-5. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) untuk uji validitas, reliabilitas, dan uji asumsi klasik. Uji regresi linier berganda digunakan untuk analisis data, dan uji hipotesis dilakukan baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Hasil menunjukkan budaya organisasi (X1) berpengaruh positif parsial dan simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan (Y). Sebaliknya, komunikasi interpersonal (X2) tidak berpengaruh parsial atau simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan (Y). Sementara itu, budaya organisasi (X1) dan komunikasi interpersonal (X2) berdampak positif baik secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment and work motivation on the performance of employees at the sub-district office of Malang City, specifically in the Lowokwaru Subdistrict, Blimbing Subdistrict, Klojen Subdistrict, Sukun Subdistrict, and Kedungkandang Subdistrict. This research is explanatory research and employs quantitative methods. The study involved a sample of 103 respondents selected through the census method. The criteria for respondents included active employees of the sub-district office of Malang City. The questionnaire items were rated using a Likert scale, with scores ranging from 1 to 5. The research employed the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) for conducting validity tests, reliability tests, and classical assumption tests. The data analysis methods used in this study was the multiple linear regression test. The results of the hypothesis testing show that the data related to the work environment (X1) significantly affects employee performance, whereas work motivation (X2) does not have a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to discover and analyze the technology acceptance model (TAM), namely the influence of Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness of Actual Use Ticket Vending Machine of MRT Jakarta. TAM is a technology acceptance theory that explains and estimates user acceptance of an information system. The research object used was MRT Jakarta ticket vending machine users. This research classifies as explanatory research that describes the causal influence between dependent variable and independent variables using quantitative approach and data collection method performed by closed-distribution of questionnaire, incorporating the five-point Likert scale. Sampling was done using the purposive sampling method. This research uses 150 respondents as its sample that falls under the criteria of those that have used the MRT Jakarta’s ticket vending machine. Data is then processed and analyzed using the multiple linear regression analysis method with the aid of the 25th version of SPSS IBM Statistic data processing software. This research discovers that Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness have significant impact on Actual Use MRT Jakarta Ticket Vending Machine.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to formulate a business development strategy for PT Exisco Karyapatra which can be used by the company to advance itself to a better strategic position and win the competition in construction sector in Indonesia. The results of the internal and external condition analysis and knowledge about general issues  are used as the consideration in this business development strategy formulation effort. The data of this qualitative descriptive research was harvested from interviews, observations, and documentations. The analysis was conducted by incorporating IFE and EFE matrices for examining the company’s internal and external condition, SWOT and IE matrix for deriving potential alternative strategies, and QSPM for determining the recommended business strategy. This study finds that the most recommended and appropriate strategy for PT Exisco Karyapatra based on its internal and external condition is market penetration. This strategy strives for market share expansion by increasing the number of marketers and by improving promotional and publicity endeavors to enhance brand awareness and firm reputation.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan strategi pengembangan bisnis pada PT Exisco Karyapatra agar perusahaan dapat berkembang ke posisi strategis yang lebih baik lagi dan mampu untuk memenangkan persaingan pasar sektor konstruksi di Indonesia, berdasarkan analisis kondisi lingkungan internal dan eksternal perusahaan serta isu-isu strategis yang secara umum menjadi pertimbangan dalam perumusan strategi pengembangan bisnis. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan sebagai alat untuk merumuskan strategi pengembangan bisnis adalah analisis matriks IFE dan matriks EFE untuk menganalisis kondisi lingkungan internal dan eksternal perusahaan, matriks SWOT dan matriks IE untuk menghasilkan alternatif-alternatif strategi potensial yang dapat diterapkan perusahaan, serta matriks QSPM sebagai alat analisis untuk memutuskan stratergi bisnis yang akan direkomendasikan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang direkomendasikan dan dinilai paling tepat untuk diimplementasikan pada PT Exisco Karyapatra sesuai dengan kondisi lingkungan internal dan eksternal perusahaan saat ini adalah strategi penetrasi pasar yang mengupayakan peningkatan pangsa pasar dengan meningkatkan jumlah tenaga pemasar, serta meningkatkan promosi dan upaya publisitas untuk meningkatkan brand awareness dan reputasi perusahaan.

Abstract

This research was appointed because there is a phenomenon of decreased employee performance at the Security Agency Halal Products. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of Workload, Person-Job Fit, and Job Stress on Employee Performance (a study on Security Agency Halal Products). This type of research is explanatory with a quantitative approach. The population of this research is all employees of the research project, totaling 150 people. Respondents in this study were taken by the random sampling method and amounted to 60 respondents as a sample based on Slovin calculations. Data was collected through a questionnaire that was given to respondents. The scale used is the Likert scale. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis, which has previously passed the instrument test and the classical assumption test. Hypothesis testing is done by using an analysis tool such as the F test and the t-test. The results of this study indicate that (1) there is a significant influence of Workload, Person-Job Fit, and Job Stress on Employee Performance simultaneously, (2) there is an influence of Workload on Employee Performance, (3) there is no influence of Workload on Employee Performance, (4) there is an influence of Job Stress on Employee Performance.   Abstrak Penelitian ini diangkat dari fenomena stagnasi kinerja pegawai yang dialami oleh Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia. Tujuan penulisan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Beban Kerja, Person-Job Fit, dan Stres Kerja terhadap Kinerja Pegawai (Studi pada Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal). Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksplanatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai pada objek penelitian sejumlah 150 orang. Responden dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan metode random sampling dan berjumlah 60 responden sebagai sampel berdasarkan perhitugan Slovin. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode kuesioner yang diberikan kepada responden. Skala yang digunkan adalah skala likert. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda yang sebelumnya telah melewati uji instrumen dan uji asumsi klasik. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat analisis uji F dan Uji t. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya (1) pengaruh Beban Kerja, Person-Job Fit, dan Stres Kerja secara simultan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai. (2) adanya pengaruh secara parsial Beban Kerja terhadap Kinerja. (3) tidak adanya pengaruh secara parsial Person-Job Fit terhadap Kinerja, (4) adanya pengaruh secara parsial Stres Kerja terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal.

Abstract

As time goes by, population development in Malang City continues to increase. This requires the government in the public service sector to be able to address the community's needs for optimal population administration. Disdukcapil has an important role in this matter, therefore the performance of its employees is important in meeting community satisfaction. Employee performance is influenced by several factors, including the use of information technology, training, and self-efficacy. This research aims to determine the effect of the use of Information Technology, Training and Self-Efficacy on employee performance at Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kota Malang. This research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach to testing variables. This research uses a simple random sampling, total 90 employees who have served for more than 1 year at the Disdukcapil Malang City. The data analysis technique in this research uses multiple linear regression method with SPSS version 29 as an analysis tool. The data used is primary data originating from a questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale. The research results show that the use of Information Technology and Self-Efficacy have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, training has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance.   Abstrak Seiring berjalannya waktu, perkembangan jumlah penduduk di Kota Malang terus meningkat. Hal ini menuntut pemerintah di bidang pelayanan publik untuk mampu memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat akan administrasi kependudukan yang optimal. Disdukcapil mempunyai peran penting dalam hal ini, oleh karena itu kinerja pegawainya menjadi penting dalam memenuhi kepuasan masyarakat. Kinerja karyawan dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor antara lain penggunaan teknologi informasi, pelatihan, dan self-efficacy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan Teknologi Informasi, Pelatihan, dan Self-Efficacy terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kota Malang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksplanatori dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengujian variabel. Penelitian ini menggunakan simple random sampling yaitu 90 pegawai yang telah mengabdi lebih dari 1 tahun di Disdukcapil Kota Malang. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode regresi linier berganda dengan SPSS versi 29 sebagai alat analisis. Data yang digunakan merupakan data primer dari kuesioner dengan menggunakan skala Likert lima poin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Penggunaan Teknologi Informasi dan Self-Efficacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sedangkan pelatihan berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.
