Abstract

The problem that arises is the readiness of local governments to respond to every central government policy with different reactions, and there is no synchronization in each policy between local governments. This shows that many different public responses depend on the culture created in their respective regions based on the pattern of policies adopted by the regional government. The Pearson correlation results show that Leadership Style has a reasonably strong relationship with student perceptions, which is indicated by the number 0.580. And leadership style has a weak relationship with social and economic, characterized by the number 0.354. Meanwhile, students' perception has a reasonably strong connection with social and economic, as indicated by the number 0.541. These results indicate that leadership style has a strong relationship with student perceptions. This can be caused by the following factors: 1). Students are more familiar with the character of regional leaders, 2). Students actively carry out social media so that knowledge about regional heads' actions, behavior, and policies can be known to students, 3). The number of regional leaders in the East Java region who are active on social media provides various information, 4). The East Java region is in good condition socially and economically when viewed from the Human Development Index, 5). Many central government programs are well channeled, including BLT, Pre-Employment Cards, PKM, KIP, and other regional assistance programs. This study shows results that are not much different from previous researchers. According to student perceptions, the leadership style of a regional head is entirely instrumental in supporting the social and economic conditions in the area or region he leads.

This article aims to determine the results of policy analysis of the curriculum development of the Islamic Education Management Program (MPI), Faculty of Tarbiyah and Educational Sciences (FTIK), UIN Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember in preparing quality graduates in the Industrial Revolution 4.0. The curriculum holds a key position in education because it is related to the direction, content, and educational process, which ultimately determines the quality of graduates of an educational institution. The quality of education is hope for all parties involved in education. There are at least 2 reasons why the quality of education is essential for the community. First is the competitive aspect. Competition occurs both between educational institutions and in the world of work. In the era of industry 4.0, prospective workers must be provided with quality education and skills to use information technology (IT) to get a better job. Second, the emergence of freedom and autonomy for educational institutions requires the importance of quality in every type, path, and level of education. Everyone is interested in the curriculum, especially the managers of education, because we as parents, as citizens, as formal or informal leaders always expect to grow and develop students, youth, and the younger generation are better, more intelligent, highly capable, and successful. The curriculum has a considerable share in the birth of these expectations. For this reason, the curriculum must always be evaluated every year; the results are used as an analysis of the development policy of the curriculum by the changing times, the development of science and technology, the demands of the needs of students, and the demands of the needs of the community as a graduate user.

Abstract

Chemistry learning activities for high school students to make it more attractive can be done with learning media innovations. The appropriate learning media to be applied at this time is blended learning-based media. One of the characteristics that need to be developed in the blended learning model is religious character. The religious character in chemistry lessons can be related to the verses in the Qur'an, one of which is the material on the rate of reaction. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the module, student responses, and the feasibility of the module for class XI students on the reaction rate material. This research method uses R&D ( Research and Development) Borg & Gall. The results showed that the validation test of the integrated reaction rate module of religious characters showed a very high value with an average material score of 87.6% and media of 89%. In the small-scale trial, the results of student responses to the integrated module with religious character were categorized as very feasible. Based on the results of the discussion, it can be concluded that the reaction rate module with religious characteristics can be used as an alternative medium for class XI students.

Abstract

The COVID-19 crisis has effected a radical shift in the learning process, with conventional approaches giving way to online learning. Such an approach necessitates appropriate infrastructure and sufficient human resources. This study seeks to show the failure of suddenly implementing online learning in an emergency. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach by collecting data through online interviews with students and lecturers at the Kediri Institute of Islamic Studies. It finds that online education has reduced students and lecturers' independence owing to three factors. First, institutions' bureaucratic procurement channels and limited funding allocation have resulted in unmet infrastructural needs. Second, lecturers have not been prepared to adapt to online learning, which requires different attitudes and competencies than conventional learning. Third, students and their families have been unable to handle the expense of internet access in their rural homes, where such infrastructure is limited. This study recommends a more comprehensive study that contrasts the effects of COVID-19 on different types of schools and social class  as this would provide a strong basis for evaluating the government's ability to continue providing education in emergencies.

Abstract

Indonesia has a motto known as 'Bhineka Tunggal Ika'. This motto means although they are different but still one, this is because Indonesia has a diversity of tribes, cultures, races, and languages. The inability of some individuals in Indonesia to accept these differences leads to negative multiculturalism. In pesantren, this will be more sensitive because the students have a diversity of backgrounds both in terms of culture, ethnicity, ethnicity, language, and regions which are then united in the same place. Multicultural education is defined as education that teaches differences and the vitality of cultural diversity and ethnicity related to equality, justice, openness, and recognition of differences. This study aims to determine the inculcation of the value of multicultural education, especially at the Al-Fatah Islamic Boarding School, Temboro.
