Abstract

The budget division has responsibility for tasks that are usually carried out including financial management, analysis and budget control in the company The aim of this research is to determine the implementation and optimization of digitalization of expedition bookkeeping in the budget division by employees of the State Electricity Company Nusantara Power Services (PT. PLN-NPS) at the Sidoarjo head office, East Java. This research uses field research methods by collecting data through reviewing internship activities and using previous research regarding the budget division. The research results show that the implementation and optimization of digitalization of expedition bookkeeping in the budget division can helps all employee needs and already has an effective system in its use.

Abstract

This article is made to learn the definition, components, and calculation formula of the Market Entry Barriers Component Index and Function Index, where these two measuring instruments are very important in analyzing the market. The function of the Market Entry Barriers Component Index is to evaluate the level of difficulty that a company will face in entering a pre-existing market. The way to evaluate it is by looking at obstacles such as fixed costs, production capacity, regulation, and production. For the Function Index itself, it functions to see how much efficiency will occur and includes distribution, information flow, and market mobility. This article also aims to provide an example of how the calculation system for the two indexes works. Through this understanding, readers and companies can formulate more appropriate strategies in dealing with obstacles and taking advantage of opportunities in the market.

Abstract

The industrial revolution has transformed the global economic landscape, and Indonesia is not exempt from its impacts. This article discusses Indonesia's readiness to face the challenges posed by the industrial revolution, focusing on sectors such as manufacturing, technology, and human resources. This research is a qualitative analysis method with a literature study and interviews approach. The findings indicate that while Indonesia has made progress in infrastructure and technology, there are still significant challenges in terms of human resource quality and the industry's readiness to adapt to technological advancements. Therefore, more targeted policies are needed to optimize Indonesia's potential in facing the industrial revolution.

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of Islamic business ethics in the practice of buying and selling in the marketplace. The background is the rapid growth of the marketplace as a digital innovation that facilitates buying and selling transactions, but still presents challenges such as dishonesty, unfairness, and non-transparency. This research uses a literature review-based qualitative method to explore the principles of Islamic business ethics such as tawhid, justice, responsibility, and honesty in the context of marketplaces. The findings show that the application of Islamic business ethics can create a more transparent, fair, and sustainable business ecosystem. Platforms such as Tokopedia, Shopee, and Bukalapak have adopted these principles through review, return, and product verification systems. The research results provide a practical contribution in building a digital marketplace that is aligned with sharia values, supports global economic sustainability, and increases consumer trust.

Abstract

Digitalization of the economy is an important aspect to be integrated in the business world, especially UMKM, to improve their competitiveness. This qualitative study aims to reveal the importance of implementing technology in the small business sector so that it can grow. This research uses a qualitative method of literature study in which we review several previous studies. The results of this study show that the factors that can improve economic competitiveness are the utilization of technology such as implementing digital marketing that we can access through e-commerce, and technology training, as well as fostering self-awareness to love domestic products. Following up on the findings in this study, optimizing the application of technology in business activities is very important and must be encouraged, so that the small UMKM sector is not left behind and can compete with the business sector above it.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of tax knowledge, taxpayer awareness and tax sanctions on individual taxpayer compliance. The population of this research is all individual taxpayers at KPP Pratama Pati. The sampling technique in this research is insidental sampling. Respondents in this study are individual taxpayers who are registered with KPP Pratama Pati and regularly report their tax obligations. Data was taken by distributing questionnaires to 110 individual taxpayers. Data analysis used the Wrap PLS version 6.0 software analysis tool. The results of this research show that taxpayer knowledge, taxpayer awareness, and tax sanctions have a significant positive effect on individual taxpayer compliance.

Abstract

The impact of globalization has brought significant changes in economic development in the world, rapid progress in several sectors such as transportation, technology, information and communication makes it easy for companies to develop their business by not only becoming local companies, but transforming into multinational companies. This study aims to test and analyze the effect of tax burden, exchange rate, and foreign ownership on transfer pricing in food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the IDX for the period 2020-2022. This type of research is correlational research with a quantitative approach. The sample in this amounted to 51 financial reports obtained from 17 food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the IDX during the 3-year period. The analysis method used is statistical method with the help of IBM SPSS 26 application. The results show that the tax burden and exchange rate partially have a negative effect on transfer pricing, while the foreign ownership variable has a positive effect on transfer pricing, and the tax burden, exchange rate, and foreign ownership variables simultaneously have no effect on transfer pricing.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out which sectors are the leading sectors in North Kalimantan Province in 2017 – 2021, What economic sectors have fast growth rates in shifting economic sectors in North Kalimantan Province in 2017 – 2021, Which economic sectors have the power strong competitiveness in shifting economic sectors in North Kalimantan Province in 2017 - 2021. What economic sectors are included in the criteria as prime, potential, developing and underdeveloped sectors in North Kalimantan Province in 2017 - 2021. Quantitative analysis methods used in processing this data is Location quotient (LQ), Shift Share, Growth Ratio Model (MRP) and Overlay Analysis processed using Microsoft Office Excel. The results of the study show that the economic sectors which are categorized as basic sectors in North Kalimantan Province in 2017 – 2021 are the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries sectors; Mining and excavation; Construction; Transportation and Warehousing; Administration of Government, Defense and mandatory social security; Education Services.

Abstract

The capital market plays a strategic role in the economy as a means for companies to obtain long-term funding. Profitability, leverage, and firm size are fundamental factors that can influence market reaction. This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability and leverage on market reaction and examine the moderating role of stock performance. The data used is secondary data obtained from the annual financial reports of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period of 2022 to 2024. The results show that profitability have a positive and significant effect on market reaction, while leverage has a negative and significant effect on market reaction. However, stock performance failed to moderate the effect of profitability and leverage on market reaction. These findings support the Signaling Theory and Trade-Off Theory in the context of the Indonesian capital market. The implication of this research is that companies need to improve profitability and strengthen their financial structure to enhance investor confidence and improve market positioning.

Abstract

Descriptive research involving 75 Gen Z on Gen Z's concerns about their parents' economic and financial conditions in retirement concluded that 86.7 percent of Gen Z were worried about their parents' economic and financial conditions in retirement, while 13.3 percent of Gen Z were not worried. As many as 66.7 percent of Gen Z were not sure that their parents would be financially free in old age, while 33.3 percent of Gen Z were sure that their parents would be prosperous in retirement. The implication is that if Gen Z is already working and is forced to help their parents' economy, then 53.3 percent of Gen Z are willing to help their parents' retirement by 10% of their salary. This means that 1 in 2 Gen Z are only willing to set aside 10% of their salary to help their parents in retirement. As a solution to Gen Z's concerns about their parents' economic conditions during retirement, ways to overcome this include: 1) the need to have sufficient retirement savings, 2) maintaining health so that it does not decline during retirement, 3) avoiding a consumptive lifestyle, 4) not depending on their children, and 5) avoiding the occurrence of a sandwich generation.
