Abstract

The process of scheduling replacement classes is a crucial activity in a university environment. This task is performed when events occur that result in the cancellation of scheduled classes, such as a teacher's unavailability, emergency situations, and others. The manual approach to scheduling replacement classes often takes a long time, lacks efficiency, and is prone to errors. Therefore, an efficient system for scheduling replacement classes is needed. The Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) methodology is used for the analysis, which includes various diagrams such as use case diagrams, use case scenarios, sequence diagrams, and activity diagrams.

Abstract

Performance is the most important aspect of hospital operations. Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR) shows the productivity of using inpatient beds and can also show the performance of the hospital staff. The BOR rate in the inpatient unit of RS X in 2020-2022 was below the ideal rate of 60-85%. This study aims to measure the performance of the inpatient unit of RS X based on the seven Malcolm Baldrige criteria. This type of research is descriptive research with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this research is all nurses of the inpatient unit of X Hospital which amounted to 201 people. The sample was taken using simple random sampling method and calculated the proportion of each room with a sample size of 138 people. Data were collected using a questionnaire consisting of 49 statements. The results of the study obtained a percentage of achievement based on the Malcolm Baldrige score on leadership criteria of 85.25%, strategic planning criteria of 84.0%, customer focus criteria of 86.94%, PAMP criteria of 82.89%, human resource focus criteria of 84.94%, operational focus criteria of 85.88%, and results criteria of 83.58%. Overall performance achievements based on the seven Malcolm Baldrige criteria are in the excellent level 2 category, except for the measurement, analysis, and knowledge management criteria which are in the excellent level 1 category. So, efforts still need to be made to improve performance in the inpatient unit, especially in the measurement, analysis, and knowledge management categories.

The student entrepreneurship data application is an innovative solution to enhance entrepreneurship's efficiency and development within the higher education environment. In an increasingly competitive era, entrepreneurship has become crucial in harnessing students' potential to create job opportunities and drive economic growth. This application is designed to facilitate collecting, processing and analysing data related to student entrepreneurship across various universities. Integrated and systematic data management will assist educational institutions in monitoring the progress of student entrepreneurship, identifying trends and patterns, and taking strategic measures to support entrepreneurial activities. Key features of this application include student entrepreneurship registration, collection of individual and business profile data, document archiving, and the generation of entrepreneurship reports and analysis. Students can register themselves as entrepreneurs and provide information about their ongoing or past business ventures. Faculty, counsellors, and other relevant parties can then utilise this data to provide appropriate guidance, training, and support. Furthermore, the application provides various data analysis and visualization tools, aiding in identifying untapped business trends and opportunities. Information regarding business types, success rates, and challenges student entrepreneurs face will provide valuable insights to universities in developing curricula, programs, and entrepreneurship development activities. With the student entrepreneurship data application, it is expected that educational institutions can optimize their role in supporting student entrepreneurship. The information collected through this application can be utilized to track progress, identify new needs and opportunities, and design appropriate strategies to enhance students' success in their entrepreneurial endeavours.

Abstract

Millennial students, born between 1981-1996, are often considered a generation that is sophisticated in technology, but is also faced with several challenges. They tend to rely too much on technology, lack initiative in completing tasks themselves, are distracted by many distractions, and are susceptible to health problems. Apart from that, social and environmental factors also influence their thinking patterns and interactions. In the educational context, the practice of assignment jockeying and plagiarism are serious issues. This research emerged as a response to developments in Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, such as ChatGPT generation 3 from OpenAI, which can be expected to address the problems of task jockeying and plagiarism. The aim of this research is to scientifically examine the potential of AI in combating dishonest academic practices because no previous research has investigated the correlation between the use of AI and overcoming student assignment jockeying and plagiarism. In the world of education, assignment jockeying and plagiarism are serious problems that can undermine academic integrity. Utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, such as ChatGPT from OpenAI, can be an interesting solution to address this problem. Therefore, this research aims to scientifically prove through research the enthusiasm of students in (a) doing coursework using AI without worrying about plagiarism and (b) being able to eradicate assignment jockeys.

Employing a descriptive-qualitative approach and the systematic literature review (SLR) method, the study investigates FinTech's interplay with Sustainable Development, Financial Inclusion, and Economic Development globally. A meticulous Scopus search utilizing keywords like "Fintech," "SDGs," "Financial Inclusion," and "Economic Development" ensures a thorough review of pertinent literature. The results underscore FinTech's substantial impact on Sustainable Development, Financial Inclusion, and Economic Development, acting as a crucial catalyst for financial inclusion and mediating sustainable growth through financial literacy. Furthermore, FinTech exhibits the potential to underpin sustainable economic growth, financial inclusion, and Economic Development by enhancing financial service accessibility, reducing poverty, and fostering gender equality. Challenges persist, particularly in the Pacific region, where issues of accessibility, awareness, literacy, and trust impede FinTech adoption. The study advocates for awareness campaigns, financial education, and infrastructure development to surmount these obstacles. In conclusion, while FinTech significantly influences financial inclusion and economic growth, its broader impact on Sustainable Development, Financial Inclusion, and Economic Development necessitates careful consideration. The research emphasizes the imperative for interdisciplinary collaboration, global cooperation, and vigilant strategies to address challenges and leverage opportunities arising from the rapid integration of digital financial services for inclusive and sustainable Economic Development.
