Abstract

Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren) as Islamic educational institutions have two main learning systems, salaf and khalaf, which require effective time management strategies to ensure optimal learning processes. This research is motivated by the importance of balancing the study of classical Islamic texts (salaf) and formal education (khalaf), which directly impacts students’ academic performance and character development. The objectives of this study are: (1) to analyze the strategies of Pondok Pesantren Manarul Huda Pusat in managing the learning schedule of salaf and khalaf, (2) to identify the challenges encountered in the implementation of these strategies, and (3) to evaluate the impact of these strategies on students’ academic achievements and character formation. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach and a descriptive design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving informants such as the boarding school leadership, council of kiai, education section, and students. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.The results reveal that time management strategies are carried out through systematic planning, integrated scheduling, and coordination between the boarding school leadership, education section, and the head of the madrasa, while taking into account activity balance and students’ psychological conditions. The main challenges include limited teaching staff, overlapping schedules, students’ discipline issues, and physical as well as mental fatigue. These strategies have proven to positively affect both academic and religious achievements, as well as foster students’ discipline, responsibility, and proper manners.

Abstract

Education serves as the main foundation for developing high-quality and competitive human resources. The quality of education is significantly influenced by how effectively educational institutions manage their human resources. At the elementary school level, optimal management of teaching and administrative staff is a key factor in ensuring successful learning outcomes. SDN 1 Cibunigeulis was selected as the research site due to its active progress in human resource management and its strong commitment to improving educational quality. This study aims to analyze the effect of human resource management on the quality of education at SDN 1 Cibunigeulis, Tasikmalaya. A quantitative approach with an ex post facto design was employed. The population consisted of 20 teaching staff, all of whom were included in the sample using total sampling technique. Data were collected through validated and reliable questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results shows that the implementation of human resource management and the quality of education are in the moderate category, with average scores of 52.65 and 50.65, respectively. Normality and linearity tests showe that the data are normally distributed and linearly related. The t-test showes a significant effect th = 2.368 > tt = 2.100; p = 0.029, supported by the Ftest Fh = 5.605 > Ft = 4.41. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.237, indicates that human resource management contributed 23.7% to the variance of education quality. These findings highlight the importance of effective human resource management in improving the quality of primary education.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, the demand for quality education is increasing, making the role of madrasah principals as the spearhead of educational management very strategic in efforts to enhance the quality of education in madrasahs. The effective performance of madrasah principals is closely linked to the supervision conducted by madrasah supervisors, who are responsible for mentoring, monitoring, and evaluating the tasks of madrasah principals. This study aims to (1) describe the implementation of madrasah supervisor supervision in improving the performance of madrasah principals at MTs. Jidris Assalam, Purbaratu District, Tasikmalaya City, (2) describe the evaluation of madrasah supervisor supervision in enhancing the performance of madrasah principals at MTs. Jidris Assalam, Purbaratu District, Tasikmalaya City, and (3) describe the impact of madrasah supervisor supervision on the performance of madrasah principals at MTs. Jidris Assalam, Purbaratu District, Tasikmalaya City. The research method used is a case study with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with madrasah supervisors, madrasah principals, and relevant staff, as well as relevant documentation. Data analysis was conducted descriptively by examining the information obtained to provide a comprehensive picture of the implementation, evaluation, and impact of supervision on the performance of madrasah principals. The results of the study indicate that the supervision of madrasah supervisors is carried out periodically and effectively, providing guidance and oversight that contribute to the improvement of professionalism and performance of madrasah principals. The evaluation of supervision shows an increase in the performance of madrasah principals, reflected in the very good performance assessment scores. The impact of this supervision is evident in the enhancement of the leadership of madrasah principals, which supports the achievement of educational goals in madrasahs. Thus, the supervision of madrasah supervisors becomes a key factor in improving the quality of the performance of madrasah principals and the quality of education in madrasahs.

Abstract

Student learning motivation is a crucial factor in supporting educational success and is influenced by various aspects, one of which is the management of educational facilities and infrastructure. Proper management of facilities and infrastructure is believed to create a conducive learning environment and encourage students’ enthusiasm for learning. This study aims to analyze the influence of facilities and infrastructure management on students’ learning motivation at MTs Darul Falah Cukang Bungur, Tasikmalaya Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach with a population of 78 students, while the sample consisted of 44 students selected through purposive sampling with a margin of error of 10%. The research instrument was a closed-ended questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The findings reveal that the management of facilities and infrastructure contributes 42.8% to students’ learning motivation. This indicates that the better the management of educational facilities, the higher the learning motivation. Meanwhile, 57.2% of motivation is influenced by other factors, such as strong intrinsic motivation to achieve, the aspiration to reach future goals, and persistence in overcoming challenges. Teacher and parental support also play an important role as external factors that strengthen students’ motivation to learn. These findings emphasize that although intrinsic factors and social support are equally dominant, optimal management of facilities and infrastructure remains an essential component in enhancing students’ learning motivation

Abstract

Student learning outcomes are influenced by various factors, one of which is teacher management, which plays an important role in creating an effective and high-quality learning process. MTs Negeri 2 Kota Tasikmalaya was chosen as the research location because this school is one of the state madrasahs that plays a strategic role in improving the quality of student learning outcomes, and demonstrates a phenomenon relevant to the topic under study, namely teacher management. This study aims to analyze the extent of the influence of teacher management on student learning outcomes at MTs Negeri 2 Kota Tasikmalaya. The research method used is quantitative correlational with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires and valid and reliable documentation studies. The research population consists of 55 teachers and 64 students. The teacher sample was taken saturately, while 55 students were selected using the Slovin formula to ensure representativeness. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS version 26 Windows through validity, reliability, determination coefficient, and t-test to test the hypothesis. Descriptive analysis results at MTs Negeri 2 Kota Tasikmalaya showed that the level of teacher management tendency was in the moderate category with an average of 61.8%. Meanwhile, student learning outcomes were also dominated by the moderate category with an average of 65.5%. The t-test yielded a t-value of 5.023 > t-table 1.674 and significance of 0.000, indicating a significant effect. The R2 value of 0.323 indicates that teacher management influences 32.3% of student learning outcomes at MTs Negeri 2 Kota Tasikmalaya, while the remaining 67.7% is influenced by factors outside the research variables. The significance level of the t-test (0.000 < 0.05) indicates that the effect is statistically significant. This finding reinforces the importance of optimizing teacher management in efforts to improve students' academic achievements comprehensively

Abstract

Guidance and counseling management plays a strategic role in shaping students’ morality at school. This study aims to analyze the influence of guidance and counseling management on students’ morality at MTs Negeri 2 Kota Tasikmalaya. A quantitative correlational approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires and documentation. The sample involved 55 educators and 55 students, and the data were analyzed using IBM SPSS version 26. The results indicate that guidance and counseling management is at a moderate level (63.6%), while students’ morality is also at a moderate level (74.5%). The coefficient of determination shows a value of 36.6%, meaning that guidance and counseling management contributes significantly to students’ morality, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors. The t-test with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 further confirms the significant effect. These findings highlight that although guidance and counseling management is not the only factor, it plays a substantial role in fostering morality, and therefore must be strengthened systematically and sustainably.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi supervisi akademik di MAS Terpadu Gunung Jembar Tasikmalaya dengan fokus pada aspek perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dampak dan hambatan.   Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur terhadap kepala madrasah dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi akademik direncanakan secara sistematis, meliputi penjadwalan, penentuan sasaran dan pembentukkan tim melalui surat keputusan (SK), serta dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan reflektif untuk mendorong refleksi diri guru tanpa mengganggu proses pembelajaran di kelas. Tahap pascaobservasi dilakukan melalui pemberian umpan balik konstruktif secara individu dan kolektif, yang dilanjutkan dengan tindak lanjut berupa workshop internal dan pelatihan daring melalui platform SIPINTAR. Supervisi akademik berdampak signifikan terhadap peningkatan profesionalisme guru, khususnya dalam kesiapan mengajar, adaptasi kurikulum (seperti kurikulum merdeka) serta penyempurnaan strategi pembelajaran. Hambatan utama meliputi perubahan kurikulum yang cepat dan keterbatasan waktu yang diatasi melalui kerjasama antarlembaga dan pendampingan berkelanjutan oleh pengawas madrasah. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa supervisi akademik berbasis refleksi merupakan mekanisme pengembangan profesional guru yang efektif dan tidak bersifat menghakimi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap makna tersembunyi dibalik perbedaan angka (numerik) dalam ibadah mahdhoh dan keterkaitannya dengan siklus kosmik. Seringkali, jumlah rakaat atau hitungan ritual dianggap sebatas ketetapan hukum (tauqifi) tanpa dipahami dimensi filosofinya dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui pendekatan hermeneutika, penelitian ini membedah simbolisme numerik sebagai jembatan antara mikrokosmos (manusia) dan makrokosmos (alam semesta). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa angka ganjil merepresentasikan prinsip keesaan (unity), sedangkan angka tujuh (seperti pada Tawaf) menyimbolkan sinkronisasi dengan rotasi benda langit. Perbedaan numerik adalah upaya penyelarasan frekuensi spiritual hamba ddenggan keteraturan sistemik penciptaan Tuhan (Sunnatulloh).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi supervisi akademik dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran di MAS Fajrul Islam Kota Tasikmalaya. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada analisis perencanaan, pelaksanaan, serta tindaklanjut supervisi akademik dan kontribusinya terhadap peningkatan kualitas proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kepala madrasah dan guru, observasi kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas, serta studi dokumentasi terhadap program dan instrumen supervisi yang digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi akademik dilaksanakan secara terencana dan berkelanjutan melalui penyusunan jadwal supervisi, penggunaan instrumen observasi kelas, serta penerapan pendekatan kolaboratif dan reflektif. Proses supervisi meliputi kegiatan observasi pembelajaran di kelas, diskusi reflektif setelah observasi, pemberian umpan balik yang konstruktif, serta tindak lanjut berupa pendampingan dan kegiatan pengembangan profesional guru. Implementasi supervisi akademik tersebut mendorong peningkatan profesionalisme guru, penguatan strategi pembelajaran, serta pengelolaan kelas yang efektif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa supervisi akademik yang dilaksanakan secara sistematis dan berorientasi pada pengembangan memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran di madrasah, serta memerlukan dukungan komitmen kepemimpinan dan budaya kolaboratif di lingkungan madrasah.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital di era pendidikan 4.0 menuntut integrasi Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam berbagai aspek pembelajaran termasuk penyusunan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) yang menjadi komponen penting dalam perencanaan pembelajaran yang efektif dan inovatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi guru terhadap penggunaan AI dalam pengembangan RPP, faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya serta peluang dan tantangan implementasinya di madrasah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus di MTs Jidris Assalam Kota Tasikmalaya, dengan subjek guru yang memiliki pengalaman menggunakan AI dalam penyusunan RPP. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan moddel interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki persepsi positif terhadap AI karena dianggap mempercepat penyusunan RPP, meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, dan mendorong inovasi metode serta evaluasi. Persepsi ini sesuai dengan teori Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), dimana perceived usefulness (PU) tercermin dari manfaat AI dalam meningkatkan efektivitas dan kualitas RPP, sedangkan perceived ease of use (PEU) tercermin dari kemudahan penggunaan AI yang praktis dan cepat diakses. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa AI memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan kualitas RPP, tetapi penerapannya perlu diimbangi dengan literasi digital, kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan kebijakan institusional agar penggunaan AI optimal dan sesuai nilai pendidikan.
