Abstract

Digital media in marketing educational services is a form of technological development so that the dissemination of information becomes wider. With competition between institutions, institutions need to develop effective marketing strategies, one of which is by utilizing technological developments, namely digital media. This research was conducted to describe and analyze the use of digital media as a means of marketing educational services at MTs Riyadlushshorfiyah. The research method used in this research is qualitative using interviews, observation and document study methods to collect data. In this study, the data source was obtained from respondents, namely the head of the madrasah, the Head of TU and the Operator. This research data was collected using three methods, namely interviews, observation and documentation. To test the credibility of the data, this research uses source triangulation. Then the data obtained will be processed by data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of research on the use of digital media as a means of marketing educational services are (1) the implementation of educational marketing strategies at MTs Riyadlushshorfiyah including planning and objectives. (2) Implementation of the use of digital media as a means of marketing educational services in accordance with the five aspects of the promotional mix and social media trends. (3) The success in using digital media as a means of marketing educational services at MTs Riyadlushshorfiyah is that the number of new students is increasing from year to year and gaining a wider market

Abstract

Bullying is one of the major sins that pollutes education in Indonesia. A form of moral distortion of violent acts that often occur in schools. The existence of guidance and counseling management has a very important function and role in preventing and overcoming all forms of bullying that occur in the school environment. This study aims to describe and analyze the role and function of guidance and counseling management starting from the aspects of planning, implementation, and evaluation in overcoming bullying at SMPN 13 Tasikmalaya City. This study is a type of qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that the management of guidance and counseling at SMPN 13 Tasikmalaya City has been implemented well, this can be seen from, first the planning aspect begins with the preparation of a guidance and counseling service program that culminates in the results of the assessment using the analysis of the type of Developmental Task Inventory (ITP) and Developmental Task Application (ATP) which are used as a reference for the preparation of guidance and counseling service programs for students, second in the implementation stage, the school determines the type of service provided to students including individual, group and classical services as well as responsive services as a form of special service to overcome bullying cases at school, and third evaluation is through direct supervision from the principal and also the monitoring team which is carried out routinely once a semester, which aims to assess the extent to which the implementation of the guidance and counseling service program at SMPN 13 Tasikmalaya City. The results of the evaluation are feedback for improving effective and efficient guidance and counseling service programs

Abstract

This research aims to describe the influence of facilities and infrastructure management on improving the quality of learning at MAN 1 Tasikmalaya City. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. Research data collection was carried out through distributing questionnaires. The informants in this research were teachers, head of madrasah, head of library, and head of facilities and infrastructure at MAN 1 Tasikmalaya City. Data analysis was carried out using quantitative analysis techniques which included data collection,data testing, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, to check the validity of the data, researchers used validity and reliability tests with the IBM SPSS Statistics 26.0 MacOS application. The results of this research indicate that the level of tendency for management of facilities and infrastructure and the quality of learning at MAN 1 Tasikmalaya City is in the medium category. In the determination test that was carried out, the calculation result was 29.8%, this figure means that the classroom management variable has an influence on learning motivation, while 70.2% is another factor that was not studied. Then the influence of facilities and infrastructure management on improving the quality of learning at MAN 1 South Tangerang City, based on the results of statistical testing (T-test). With the test criteria if the significance value is < α (0.05) then there is an influence. The results of the T-Test carried out obtained a significance value of 0.000, where it can be seen that 0.000 < 0.005 means that there is a significant influence between the management of facilities and infrastructure on improving the quality of learning at MAN 1 Tasikmalaya City.

Abstract

Educational institutions may face various problems and conflicts involving several parties, such as students, teachers, and parents of students. Conflicts usually arise because of differences of opinion, values, knowledge, or perhaps because of different interests between individuals or groups involved. A conflict that is not handled properly will have a negative impact on the learning process and daily activities at school. Conflict in an educational institution will definitely occur, but how is the method or attitude of the institution in resolving the conflict that occurs. This study was conducted to examine the Implementation of Conflict Middle School with a research focus on several points. First, What triggers conflict in schools can occur. Second, How is the Implementation of Conflict Management carried out in solving problems. Third, What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in solving problems or conflicts. In this study, the approach used by the researcher is a qualitative approach with a descriptive field research type. Data sources obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation. Meanwhile, the informants in this study were the principal, vice principal for student affairs, guidance and counseling teachers, guardians and students. The results of the study showed that: first, the trigger for the conflict between guardians and educators was student delinquency which was caused by misunderstandings that occurred due to incomplete information. Second, the implementation of conflict management carried out by the school through mediation and deliberation between the two parties to find a solution that did not harm anyone. Third, the supporting factors in resolving the conflict that occurred were the openness of information from both parties, while the inhibiting factors were the involvement of third parties and the busyness of parents or guardians of students in carrying out their activities.

Abstract

The head of the madrasah is one of the components of education that influences the improvement of teacher performance. Therefore, the success of the head of the madrasah in implementing management is very important to improve the quality of education in the madrasah, especially in the Learning Process carried out by teachers. This study attempts to reveal how the management of the principal improves teacher performance. This study uses a qualitative research type with a qualitative method. The researcher here uses a field research approach. Research with the aim of describing a population, situation, phenomenon, accurately and systematically. While the data analysis uses through Observation, Interviews, Documentation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The conclusion of the study shows that: 1) The Head of the Madrasah is responsible for the planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising the madrasah, including administration. 2) Teacher performance at MA Almunir is very important and involves planning, implementing, and evaluating learning. Teachers are able to prepare RPP well, choose the right method, and conduct evaluations. 3) The management of the head of the madrasah at MA Al Munir, Burujuljaya Village is seen in the planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating teacher performance. The vision and mission of the Madrasah are decided together. Organization starts from recruitment to assignment according to needs. The head of the madrasah supervises teacher performance, with the aim of improving the quality of education at MA Al Munir, Burujuljaya Village. 4) Supporting factors for the implementation of madrasah head management in improving teacher performance include facilities and infrastructure that are in accordance with the quality of education. 5) The head of the madrasah at MA Al Munir, Burujuljaya Village has duties and strategies to improve teacher performance with positive management, which has an impact on student achievement and school success.

Abstract

Leadership is a key factor in determining the efficiency, effectiveness and improvement of school organizational performance, supported by the interpersonal communication skills of the madrasah principal in order to create harmony, understanding, and conformity of goals between leaders and their members, so as to increase the productivity and performance of good educational human resources. The purpose of this study was to reveal and analyze in depth the strategy for improving teacher performance at the Ci Doyang Private Middle School, Ciamis Regency through effective interpersonal communication patterns and managerial leadership of the madrasah principal. Data collection through in-depth interview methods, in-depth observation, and documentation studies. The results of the study interpret that in the managerial context of the madrasah principal at MTsS Ci Doyang as an effort to improve teacher performance, starting from the planning process, formulating the vision, mission, and goals of the madrasah, organizing various activities in improving teacher performance, fostering harmonious and togetherness traits and supportive cooperation, involving teachers in curriculum development towards teacher professionalism, improving the profession through workshops, providing learning motivation to continue studying, paying attention to teacher welfare and building a good work climate. Interpersonal communication that is established in the madrasah also becomes a factor that makes teachers feel appreciated and ultimately can be a motivation in improving performance. The results of the performance improvement are used as guidelines in performance evaluation, by giving awards and additional tasks as deputy head of the madrasah for teachers who have good performance.

Abstract

Educational leadership that has the criterion of emotional quotient is the leader with the ability to influence the educational community through self-awareness and self-management. This ability helps school leaders to understand the society. In other words, the leader has the social awareness and skill management. It is the skill to interact with the shcool community their wants. In addition, the school leaders are required to be honest to their selves and the whole educational community for their building of self strength, self-conscience, honor, and responsibility to the whole school community. To conclude that the cooperation between leaders and society (social community) the goal of the education will be achieved.

Abstract

Madrassas must be managed with a professional management system and be able to understand and meet the demands of society. This is where the role of leadership is needed. The head of the madrasah has a central role in determining the success of the implementation of education in the madrasah. The head of the madrasah not only acts as an administrative leader, but also as a manager, innovator, and motivator who is responsible for managing resources, improving the quality of learning, and ensuring the achievement of the institution's vision and mission. The effective performance of the madrasah head can create a conducive learning environment, improve the quality of education, and prepare competent students. One of the programs to improve the performance of the madrasah head is the Madrasah Head Performance Assessment Program (PKKM) which is the basis for its implementation is the Decree of the Director General of Islamic Education (Dirjen Pendis) No. 1111 of 2019. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of the Madrasah Head Performance Assessment (PKKM) program using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, and Product) evaluation model. The CIPP model not only focuses on results, but also context, input, process, and results. Therefore, the CIPP model is said to be more comprehensive compared to other evaluation models. This study was conducted using the CIPP evaluation method with data collection using observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The research sample was madrasas, especially Private Junior High Schools in Tasikmalaya City that had implemented the PKKM program several times, including madrasah principals, supervisors, teachers, and education personnel. Data analysis was carried out using quantitative and qualitative approaches and using the CIPP evaluation model. The results of the study showed that the Madrasah Principal Performance Assessment program with the CIPP model was considered effective in improving the performance of madrasah principals and the quality of madrasahs

A management information system is an information system that exists within an organization by carrying out functions to provide all information that affects all operations in an educational institution. The type of method used is library research, namely research in which the study uses library data in the form of books as a data source. To obtain optimal service quality in schools, much is determined by the ability to collaborate elements owned by schools that are mutually exclusive. related to showing that there is an integrated and complete service within the school.
